George did an outstanding job replacing broken the sprung hinges on my daughters frames. He then went beyond the brief and straightened the arms. The glasses now look like new. I and my daughter were very impressed with his work and the speed with which it was carried out.

Sat on my Raybans on holiday. Bent and twisted frame. Lense popped out. Thought they were done.

Exemplary advice and service which I cannot praise enough. When gardening I broke the frames of my prism bifocals the lenses of which were new and very expensive. The lenses weren't hurt and so I wondered if I could continue using them by getting the frames repaired rather forced to get new glasses altogether. Contacted Simplespex and had a chat, via email, with an expert who advised me that my old frames could be soldered, or, would I prefer to simply replace my old frames with brand new ones he had located in the old stock of their manufacturer. (That's what I call going the extra mile!) As the latter option was very reasonably priced I decided to go for the new frame. Ordered the repair online, posted my broken glasses off to Simplespex, a mere matter of days later an email told me my repair had been done and my prism lenses in beautiful new frames arrived by special delivery the next day. I now basically have a pair of new glasses better than the originals without breaking the bank! You just don't get service like this these days at an affordable cost. Just great. I recommend Simplespex unreservedly and if you are looking for a repair, or anything else to do with you glasses, done by someone who knows exactly what they're doing this is the place to go without doubt! *****

Absolutely professional service. I wanted to make enquiries about their service so I left a message. George phoned me back after 5pm and with great courtesy and patience guided me through the system. I sent my old spectacles off and again received a call from George to say that they had received them and we had a further discussion about what I required. Nine days later I received an email to say that they were on their way back to me and I received them the next day. They looked like new glasses but with new premium lens fitted and they are superb. They could teach other suppliers (and household name providers) how to do things properly and I saved £100’s.

Great Service, used other glasses repair firms before and they took a month to repairs some glasses . Simplexspex repaired a Sunken Hidge, which I thought was impossble to repair, but Simplespex repaired it in 2 days. Simplexspex are amazing!!!!!

Amazing repair service. Really quick and an outstandingly good repair that you can't even notice. My favourite pair of glasses are back in working order in only a couple of days and for a really good price. They were really helpful, helped me work out which type of repair I needed to select, and had my glasses back to me in a couple of days. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing glasses repairs.

I used Simplespex to repair a pair of well travelled sunglasses that were broken across the bridge. I chose to use Simplespex after reading favourable reviews and am very pleased with the service that I received. Before placing my order I was given a clear description of the service. Despite the repair proving more difficult than expected, I was informed of progress and promptly received nicely repaired sunglasses at the original quoted price, all very well presented. I would certainly use Simplespex again.

The repairs I had done were excellent. I even received a refund because I chose the incorrect repair. George did the correct repair and refunded me the difference. My absolutely favourite pair of glasses is up and running again.

Have just received my new spectacles and they are fantastic! George spent an hour fitting the frames to my face and taking an accurate assessment of my pupil distance and position. Do not underestimate this process as it is essential to the ultimate comfort and performance of your spectacles. He then made up the frames with the new lenses to a superb level of accuracy. You will need to supply George with an accurate current prescription. I used Boots at Eltham.

George at Simplespex is our first thought whenever we have damaged glasses or sunglasses. The service you receive is amazing, fast, friendly and efficient, and above all, the prices are so very reasonable, its hard to imagine any reason to go elsewhere. It is also worth mentioning, that we have had several very minor repair work made to frames in the past (minor to George, major for us!), and although we were charged such a modest amount, the packaging and condition of the glasses on return was just amazing. Can't recommend this company enough.

The company is incredibly helpful and the finished product is just perfect.

My silhouette glasses had a separated arm, twisted titanium frame and odd shaped nose pads. My Optician wouldn't repair, others likewise. Found Simplespex on line and wasn't sure. Found exactly the right package to chose, had email back confirming (sent some photos) sent via sign for royal Mail. 3 days later i received all back in one piece in great condition. Kept informed (repair done in one day). Great service, fast and fairly priced. Normally I don't write reviews but this firm needs to know how good they are.

This day & age, People & Businesses are becoming less honest & trustworthy. I have to say that I am extremely pleased and gratified by the service of Simplespex. I was anxious & concerned before I even went ahead with sending my glasses to them for repair. I went with the £40 Silver package plus £7.50 for them to return my glasses by Special Delivery. I had to pay £7.65 to send my glasses to them on Monday and by the Friday I had my glasses back. I have to Thank them, truly, for what a great job & the care taken in packaging & also returning of the old parts that they replaced.
Although I wont be needing the old parts, I recognised them & I feel very reassured that Yes the parts were replaced as I requested.
The solder repair to the snapped off joint looked impeccable, I cannot see any sign/sight of the solder or burnt area at point of solder, it's a crisp clean job well done. Its wonderful to have a great job done, smooth service and with honesty and integrity. Thank You Simplespex :oD

My glasses were damaged when I got hit in the head by a tall train ticket barrier panel. Both my usual optician and the manufacturer concluded that the frames were irreparable. The Simple Spex website helped me to figure out what repair was needed (a new sunken/hidden hinge) and so I thought I would give them a go. I'm delighted with the result, speed of service, and competitive pricing.

Required a broken hinge repaired on my specs. Posted by recorded delivery on late Thursday afternoon. Email on Saturday to say that the repair was complete, and they were being sent back to me. Arrived Monday morning. So good I decided to go out of my way and write a review. Brilliant service and to be commended.

Price was no brainer, great value for money getting a pair of frames repaired so cost effectively was very important.
Communication and email responsiveness was great, I asked a question and had a response with a day.
Finally quality/speed, I sent 3 frames off for repair and had them back in under a week! Saved me over £500 in new frames.

reglazed my glasses with Tokai lenses. Customer servise is very quick-responding and helpful. Shipment is quick as well.
