SPOED!! Ik sta al sinds 07:00 vanochtend voor een dichte deur bij Shurgard Duivendrecht. De poort opent niet met de app. En er is NIEMAND te bereiken. Ik loop duizenden euro’s omzet mis omdat ik op een beurs zou staan en al mijn koopwaar bij jullie staat opgeslagen. Er wordt 24/7 toegang gegarandeerd, maar dat is dus niet zo. Graag ZSM contact opnemen.

Bad service and entry code not working
At my second visit the code to leave the building did not work. I had to call the Surgard help line but that person on the phone was really rude and not helpful at all. The app to get in and out was also giving trouble. Finally got the app work and got out. Annoying experience to be locked in their building and not able to get out.

Jaarlijkse verhoging €79,- naar €98,- !!!
Wat een K.U.T. bedrijf is dit! Dit is een perfect voorbeeld van globalisering. Grote bedrijven die doen wat ze willen. Ik ben al 10 jaar klant geweest bij opslag bedrijven en dit nog niet meegemaakt. 1 keer moeten verhuizen van een aanbieder naar Huur een box. Hier heb ik 7 jaar gezeten zonder problemen. Het bedrag wat ik betaalde is 1 keer iets omhoog gegaan door de inflatie. Maar sinds december heeft Shurgard de locatie in Amsterdam overgenomen. Allereerst werd ik gedwongen een verzekering te nemen die ik niet wilde omdat mijn inboedelverzekering dit al dekt. Ik vond het op zijn minst al bijzonder dat ik moest bewijzen, middels mijn polis en documentatie, dat ik de door Shurgard aangeboden verzekering van 15,- per maand niet hoefde af te nemen. Maar nu 2 maanden later krijg ik op eens een brief dat er volgende maand een huurverhoging in gaat. Verder geen tekst of uitleg waarom. Ook geen 2 of 3 of procenten meer die ik moet gaan betalen, nee bijna 25% meer!!! Van €79,- naar €98,-. Na een telefoontje met een vriendelijke medewerker werd mij aangegeven dat dit normaal is bij Shurgard. Dit wordt centraal geregeld uit Brussel. Volgend jaar rond deze tijd kon ik weer een verhoging verwachten en aangezien er geen richtlijnen zijn kan de verhoging zijn zo hoog als dat ze dat in Brussel bepalen! Er was nog wel een mogelijkheid om mijn contract op te zeggen en een nieuwe huurder te worden om zo korting op de eerste 6 maanden te krijgen. Dan behoef ik alleen te verhuizen van box! Ongelofelijk en ook de reden voor mij om op te zeggen. Ik snap ook niet dat ik hier positieve berichten lees over dit bedrijf. Personeel is niks mis mee maar de organisatie hierachter wel. Wat een idioten!!!

Daarom nodigen u graag uit in uw Shurgard vestiging om de verschillende mogelijkheden even samen te doorlopen. Misschien is verhuizen naar een goedkopere unit een oplossing? We komen er beslist samen uit!

Goede service
Goede service, was schoon en licht en makkelijk. je kan met de auto naar binnen rijden met je code, er staan karren en er is een lift. Balie medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk om even uit te leggen hoe het werkt, ook al had ik alles online geregeld. wel zo fijn!

Ruimte is kleiner dan gesteld
Er werd aangegeven dat de opslagplaats 5m2 is, maar in praktijk, na de ruimte gemeten te hebben, blijkt het toch iets kleiner te zijn. Dat voelt niet eerlijk. Daarnaast zijn de trolleys die ze beschikbaar hebben gesteld van slechte kwaliteit. Het is een drama om mee te werken.

Bij Shurgard kunt u uw spullen op elk moment gratis naar een andere opslagruimte verhuizen. Dit kan op elk moment ook wanneer u uw box al in gebruik heeft. Everything was fine except the initial entry - for some reason the full code was not sent via e-mail and I needed to request it separately from the Reception desk. Otherwise, very helpful staff on-site and clear process.
