£118.67 wasted on a flimsy rubber backed living room rug. Not unlike a large bath mat, 230cmx160 cm
Folded 40cmx40cm 4 cm deep so not very thick.
Rugshow denied a refund as it was reduced.
Paypal were no help when I raised a dispute.
Not fit for purpose at all.

Complete scam. No customer service since ordering (it said on the website 5 days to dispatch but it actually took 3 weeks). When I received the item, which was supposed to be a 240 x 200 rug (cost 178GBP), it was just a flimsy piece of plastic with the patterns "printed" on. Absolutely terrible and I don't understand why this website has not been taken down or why the company has not been blacklisted by paypal.
Please share your dispute resolution process with pay pal.

BIGGER THAN SCAM:
I could not see why this scammers deserve a one star. They are scamming just anyone. I paid £157.90 for a load of rubbish. The "rug" they sent to me measuring 240 cm length was folded in a carrier bag, and so did the designer so completely different from what I ordered.
I have opened a dispute with my credit card company, and have been assured of full refund except the company challenges the refund.
My main concern is how to bring this website down, so that other potential victims could be safeguarded.

I have just paid £105 for a so called rug the biggest load of rubbish you have ever seen. You can see daylight through it. I would never recommend this company to anyone

As others have reported, this company are a scam and fraudulent merchant who sell extremely poor quality rugs that are so thin and flimsy they will not last or look good at all, hoping PayPal will refund as rugshow are a dreadful company that will not refund or help in any way.
Avoid.

If anyone has paid over £100 and used their credit card for payment then I can confirm that they will give a full refund. They need copies of all correspondence with seller and photos of item advertised and that received.
The seller had the audacity to contest the refund so it did take a couple of months to close case although refund was quick.

How is this company still appearing on google search when its clearly bogus!?i ordered a rug for £99.99 and it arrived a few weeks later looking like a flat thin piece of material not a rug by a mile!!i paid with Paypal credit thinking i would be protected from rogue/cowboy traders but trhey say its not falling into there dispute category!im not giving up on that as it most definitely not as advertised or fit for purpose.this company have NOT responded to my email and clearly this is a common theme rerading other reviews on here,please BE AWARE that its a rubbish company selling rubbish and also pay by credit card as you will have more support than i have had from PAYPAL so far im disgusted that this is allowed by GOOGLE and surprised that paypal does not recognize how fraudulent this company is.

I've already made a review on here about how bad this company is so I'm not gonna go into to much detail but once I realised how poor this company was I cancelled my order before they even dispatched the item which they refused. (Pretty standard it seems for this company)

I did the follow once they refused, when the item arrived at my home I refused the delivery of it. Told the delivery guy to take it back to his depot. I then opened a case with PayPal about not receiving my goods. It took about 31 days but I got a full refund in The end. It would have been quicker but Hermes hadn't updated their system saying it was refused so on the tracking still said it was on its way. I actually had to go to the Hermes depot to find out why it hadn't updated, turns out they could see it was refused and brought back but then was lost somewhere. Doesn't say a lot for Hermes but alls well that ends well. If you except the item you'll end up having to pay the return cost, if you don't you won't but may take a bit longer to get your money back. What ever route you choose Good luck.

Hi, I placed an order with this company thinking it was in the U.K. and have emailed four times to cancel. I’ve only just placed the order so hope they don’t take payment. How quickly has anyone got refunds if cancelled straight away. They haven't replied to my emails so far!

Please don’t waste your money on anything from this company, The goods are rubbish and they don’t care because British Law is allowing them to trade in this country. The rug I bought is so flimsy it’s too dangerous to put on the floor. I can’t get a refund until it’s returned to China. I am trying to get a refund, I just hope I can get it before they disappear with the profits made from all the gullible Brits.

I’ve written on here before but just an update to all you poor customers - I returned this rug to China yes principal !!! PayPal contributed £15 so it was £10 too send - because let’s face it it weighs nothing ??. PayPal closed the case in my favour after numerous complaints about this company, and I received my full refund yesterday and the blanket is still in its way too China lol.

My experience has been horrendous from a Chinese company selling under U.K. name.
DO NOT BUY they are rip off merchants!!!
Inferior product from inferior company.

After reading all these dreadful reviews i am baffled how this so called company has not been taken down. My rug (blanket) arrived just the same way as everyone else, crammed into a plastic bag which my 4 year old grand-daughter carried into the room, i could not make out what it could be and the shock when i opened it like all the other reviews was one of disbelief, nothing like advertised and when i e mailed to complain, unlike other reviews they told me they had no record of my order even though the RUG!! had arrived and the money had been taken from my account. They are absolute scammers who have to be taken down before any-more people lose their money.

shocking company - horrific quality and service and if you need to return they want you to return to CHINA ! this is NOT a UK company nor is it a company you want to be paying ANY money to

They have refused refund, in their terms and conditions apparently.
Bought with PayPal. Will try them. Even if they get this company taken down.

ITS FAKE, DO NOT BUY not what you seen in the pics it’s not worth a penny and I paid £119 I asked for a refund but they don’t accept it in-sale items. They post a 5m rug folding in a plastic bag!!!! Ridiculous

I have to give give a star rating but if i had a choice i wouldn’t even give them that one.

I payed £126 for a rug when it arrived it was such poor quality, rubber rug! i asked for a refund they said item for sale we do not offer a refund. It doesn’t say anywhere that it was on sale!
i mentioned that they didn’t reply on that matter.

They even if you do return it it will have to be to our warehouse in Chine what the ****. i ordered because it was a UK based company and i was under the impression that the products where here too. Then they said i should use it or sell it!

It’s fake they just conning people in to buying from them at a good price. But in reality when the product arrives its not even worth what i payed.

it is a scam i ordered a £110 rug 160 x 230....when it came i thought it was a duvet or something as was a package 400 x 400 x 16 when opened up i couldnt believe it the colours are wrong the rug is as thin a a blanket and fold lines all over it they said they dont do refunds or returns and if id known it from china iit states uk im waiting for answer back today but if paypal wont sort this out i will stop using them as i can see a lot of people have had same scam

This is a scam!! Never order from these scammers! They send me something that was cut from the meter claiming this is how it appears on the website! They won't receive it back but they will play with you saying that they can give you a partial refund of £10 later £20 and at the end, even £25 because their warehouse is in China and is not cost effective for you send this crap back! That is also a lie they have a place in UK from which the package was send from. They are thieves and lieres! I don't know how can they function like this but definitely this is serious they stilling money!!!!

The rug I ordered was very bad quality, the colours were not the same as on the website and I generally wasn’t happy with my purchase.
After contacting the company, I was told that I couldn’t have a refund as the rug was a sale item. Many of their products are sale items and I think they are just picking numbers out of the air so that they can say the item can’t be returned. They also told me that, even if I did get a refund, the cost to me of sending it back to their main warehouse in CHINA, would be very expensive.
I suspect that this rug will end up becoming a very expensive picnic blanket!
