Customer Service is horrible! They transfer you over and over again. No shipment updates are provided whatsoever, it takes weeks if not months. You'd think you get better service for 2 expensive sheets.
Horrible Cuddledown product and customer service
I’ve purchased from Cuddledown before, which is why this experience has been so disappointing.
I recently ordered a down comforter that cost nearly $1,000. For a product at that price point, I expected excellent quality. Unfortunately, the comforter leaked feathers from the very beginning.
I followed the instructions provided in the automated customer service response and returned the item. After that, I heard absolutely nothing from the company. No acknowledgment, no update, nothing.
I emailed customer service multiple times and received their standard automated response. I then called and was told my issue would be “escalated.” Again, no follow-up.
After weeks of silence, I ultimately had to involve my credit card company to resolve the situation.
Looking back, I really wish I had read the many negative reviews about Cuddledown’s customer service before making this purchase. Based on my experience, once something goes wrong, getting any meaningful support from this company appears to be extremely difficult.

Bait and Switch. Cuddledown Rewards: Avoid. Claim processing not explained until two links later. Did you make a mistake with claim? You will not know until claim processed then you have to submit another claim and wait another month, etc. etc. Phone assistance unable to tell if claim wrong, you have to wait. I think Cuddledown Rewards extends processing time to make additional Monthly Membership Fees. $19.95 each month. Purchase was at Cuddledown Store Freeport Store. Shipping Charge for UPS GROUND ECONOMY to California $20.99. 5.5 lb package, not oversized. So unless you shop MONTHLY at the stores it makes no sense to belong to this program. Also agents give out different information on claim processing time, on agent "10 Days", another agent "2-4 Weeks, up to 90 Days" - spoke to Supervisor she ( Ms Jazz ) said she would enlighten the "90 Day" agent. Bad practices, not clear on processing time, and on each corrected claim it is an additional 2-4 weeks.

Substandard quality and terrible…
Substandard quality and terrible customer service. I have returned 2 out of 3 items the next day after receipt because they were of terrible quality, impossible to use. Return policy is 30 days. I received no refund or acknowledgment of the return for 1 month. In the meantime, I have emailed the cuddledown inquiring about the status of my return. Nobody responded or even acknowledged the email. After waiting for over one month, I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. I received a phone call 2 days later demanding that I produce a tracking number of the return shipping. As I was driving at that moment, I asked them to call me in 2 hours so that I can give them the tracking #. Of course, nobody called.
return but no credit after 2 months
Ordered a sheet and pillow case set in Sept. and somehow a duplicate order was processed. I notified them well in advance of the ship date, but they said they couldn't cancel one of the orders since they had already been processed (but not shipped). I returned the duplicate, and it has been over two months and still no credit. They say they have not received the return yet. I doubt I will ever see the credit. These people are terrible. Do not order from them.
Terrible online process and customer service
I placed an order over a week ago, it was supposed to be a birthday gift for someone. I was hesitant given the price, but I have waited over a week with no update. I decided to call customer service. She then proceeds to tell me they need to verify my shipping and billing address, which I already provided when I placed the order and also wanted the 1-800 number on the back of my credit card. She claims this is 'just part of their process' and that there were no issues in charging the credit card. I never received an email from the company, if I hadn't called I'd still be waiting. Will likely return the pillow just based on this experience. I basically wasted my time reiterating the same information they already have. they claim once I'm a reoccurring customer they don't need to do the same process. I've never heard of an online order process like this and honestly don't recommend. the woman on the phone was rude as well.

Cancelled within two hours of placing an order…
Within two hours of placing an order for items that were "in stock" I received a confirmation stating that the majority of the order was on backorder. The shipping costs were outrageous and they were FedEx Post (USPS). Surcharges assessed for fuel they said were from the shipping company. Fuel surcharges when the cost of gas in down? SHYSTERS !) I called and told them to cancel and they told me I should choose another color for the sheets and some of the items were ready to ship. I said to cancel the order. These people are the WORST. I know they are not going to cancel the order.

I placed an order on 17 October. Fedex allegedly received it then. As of 20 October it was in Boylston, MA-- and remains there. When I contacted Cuddledown I was told I would get it by 28 October. That's today. CD Customers service is dreadful. I won't place an order with them again.
A waste of a lot of money
I purchased a very expensive 800in3/oz soft pillow about 6 months ago. I have been away with my work so only really started to use it when I came home about three months ago. At first it was very comfortable, but over the past month or so it has gradually lost all its fluffiness and has absolutely no support. I could literally fold it in four it is that limp. Considering the retail price was £200+ I find this really poor. It is now not worth laying on, I might as well be sleeping directly on the mattress. I am now looking for a new pillow, but I will certainly not be going back to Cuddledown. I now know why their pillows never feature in the independent reviews for best soft pillow! Take my advice if you do not want to waste a significant amount of money, DO NOT PURCHASE from this company, take the advice of the independent reviewers and look elsewhere.

Cuddledown states the product is made in the USA. That is not true! The sheet I received is a product of Pakistan (the fabric) and sewn in China. I never would have purchased this had I known this. It's called "bait and switch". In addition, the sheet is supposed to be 100% cotton. It is not, looks and feels like a poly/cotton blend. This is being returned.

Sheets unraveling at corner seems after 1 wash. Also they don’t allow an account to be set up and have not allowed this for years . Very strange. I do remember at the end of my purchase it said you could set up and account but something did not work and there is no “Sign in” on the website. You cannot keep track of what you have bought
Cuddledown Rewards is a big pain
I like their products, but they're too expensive. When I placed my order I was encouraged to join "Cuddledown Rewards" to get a rebate on shipping charges (which are high) plus a 10% rebate.
This process was lengthy and confusing. They don't tell you at the outset that you get a 30 day free trial, and then are charged $19.99/month. When you're signing up they try to hide this info.
You don't get the discount when you place your order. You have to go to a different site and enter lengthy, detailed information including the amount you are charged for shipping and handling. Your order confirmation receipt doesn't include this info, and I couldn't find it on their website, so I had to call them and ask a rude employee how much I had been charged for shipping in order to complete the form.
Now I have to follow up and cancel my membership to Cuddledown rewards before 30 days in order to avoid paying the $19.99 fee.
This whole process has taken about an hour, and will take even more time in the future.
Beware the ad onslaught
Admission: I love Cuddledown products.
Issue: I absolutely and completely DETEST the way they do business. 30 years ago, shopping with CD felt so warm...so "Mom and Pop". Now it's as if their only priority is wringing every last dollar out of the customer. Recently I almost broke and bought something (before I remembered my last experience) and now I'm INNUNDATED with CD ads. MORE ISN'T ALWAYS BETTER in advertising.
I will NEVER buy from CD again.

I wish I could give less than one star. Cuddle down has retained a Rewards vendor that is horrible. Having been a very happy longtime customer of Cuddledown I will never do business with them again, after experiencing their ridiculously bad customer service. When I made my phone order in January for some obscenely expensive sheets the agent pitched their rewards program. I was skeptical, but she assured !e that I could sign up, earn cash rewards, and terminate the contract with no problem. She assured me that my rewards check would arrive within 10 days. By March the check had not arrived. When I called I was told that my rewards had not been processed, nor had my account been closed,even though the fist agent said she would do so. I was advised that I had to print up and mail a copy of my transaction. I emailed it and also sent a hard copy. They denied they ever received either. When I called again in April I was advised that the check would be cut and mailed within 24 hours. In addition I was told that my inquiry would be "escalated". Now it is the end of July, and my appeals directly to Cuddledown have elicited form letters advising that I speak with the vendor. Obviously they do not even read customer correspondence.
I am appalled at the level of deceit and misleading practices. I am making complaints to the BBB as well as my state Attorney General Consumer Protection division . Save yourself the headache of being ignored, lied to and ripped off. Do not purchase from Cuddledown!

This company has been destroyed
This company has been destroyed. Bought and own many wonderful products over the years from the original Cuddledown. After ordering on line it was necessary to return the item because of fit. They make returns cumbersome, expensive, uncertain and you wait forever with NO credit back after several weeks so far. This was a company I depended on for great products and service. Looks like its over!
