The problem is with BA. Firstly, standards have dropped dramatically. It is not the BA we once knew. Willie Walsh has put paid to that. It’s now a 2nd class airline and nowhere close to Singapore, Emirates, Qantas and the like.
Second, there are no flights from anywhere but London. BA used to fly to the US from MCR, but no more. Reward flights are hardly worth having now.

When did RFF succumb to the usual dark patterns of making it non-obvious on how to cancel membership?

Someone there has sat down and thought how best to make that difficult and to discourage you. You have to click the "bronze" membership, which is _looks_ greyed out, and in the bottom right.

Then if you do find that, then asks you for a reason _before_ just doing what you asked. Then ANOTHER screen to try and get you to stay again.

Leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

Set up alerts on RFF this morning and subscribed to the gold plan.

No email or SMS alerts came through when Avios seats were released by BA later this morning.

Pretty disappointing, why should I pay for gold membership if no alerts come through. I will be cancelling my subscription after the 7 day trial period.

An excellent service. I pay for the Gold service which means I receive immediate notification when an ‘alert’ flight becomes available. I’ve just been able to upgrade two seats from Club World to First and am delighted with this as First availability is quite rare. Reward Flight Finder is a highly recommended and invaluable service.

Just booked Caribbean Xmas flights immediately after alert came through. BA had shown no Avios availability for last few weeks

It works. We subscribed for the gold membership with immediate alerts hoping to get two business flights to Japan with points. Several months later, we got the alert and could quickly call BA to upgrade to business :)) I'm in the UK, not sure why the profile says the US

You were recommended to us by BA reservations staff who told us about setting alerts on your site. Brilliant service. Just booked to go to LA October half term.

When you cancel the trial they purposefully use the word "cancel" in a context that means you are actually stopping the cancellation - this is horribly misleading and obviously targets the elderly.

From my experiences using RFF I can say with my chest I’ve never found an easier and more efficient way of securing seats for myself , family , or friends , it’s been such a strain as a new traveler and thanks to RFF I am able to navigate across the world almost fully carefree.

Once you give them your credit card, they use every "dark pattern" dishonest deceptive user interface trick to make sure you don't get through the cancellation process.

Discovered this app last year and have found two seats to Montreal through it. Definitely delivers what it promises. My advice is to set up many alerts rather than just one. If you set them at least 6 months ahead, (a bit of forward planning needed), you should find what you want.

Waited 2 months but was found the perfect flight change so worth it.

RFF currently have a rating of 3.8 But their website shows a full 5 star Trustpilot logo which suggests they have a higher 5 Trustpilot rating. Why is that?

I am working in Chicago and I use this app to find my flights to & from London. Knowing my holiday dates in advance mans I can set alerts months ahead. Saves me a ton of time and money.

I've been using RFF ever since it began & every year it never fails to help me obtain 2x Club seats on BA, LHR-CPT plus the return, using my Amex 241.

Having Gold membership is worth every penny!

Had a issue with customer service refusing refund but then the manager emailed me and rectified the problem.

With the current cost of living crisis it is silly not to use my collection of Avios for flights. I use RFF to find the flights and so far, it has worked, so long as you set alerts months ahead. Booking flights and looking for deals for a vacation/holiday are definitely not fun activities and adds a lot of stress to a supposedly relaxing experience and RFF helps me avoid a lot of the headaches. It's definitely become an integrated part of my trip planning process. I highly recommend.

Usually it takes a very long time to find flights on BA especially during peak holiday times like Christmas. I just give up after a while but Reward Flight finder has made a huge difference

Just set up alerts far in advance & they will search for you. I think better for long-haul than short-haul as savings are greater. I just saved about £1600 on flights to India.

Really gone down hill in the past few months. Can't do anything without paying a premium. I used to be a silver subscriber but you used to get a reasonable experience on the free version... now the fact I can't do hardly anything on the website as a free subscriber, I'm not giving my money to upgrade again. Greed gone too far.
Having read other reviews, I'll use other sites from now on.
