A Year and still know where near to settling

On 17th April I recieved from Refundor the following message: Y1W-SFB-HPC ''We have great news, the compensation payment from the airline has been received! We have also sent you a separate email with a link through which you can provide your bank details for the transfer. Please do not put Paypal information, we cannot issue payments to Paypal accounts.

After receiving the bank details, our accounting department will proceed with the transfer within one month of the date of receival. If the payment is not received within the given time limit, please let us know so we can investigate the issue.
Due to extraordinary high workload the timeframes for responses and payments may differ, thus, we kindly ask for your understanding.

Your patience is greatly appreciated!

Not even worth 1 star, poor customer service. I contacted Jet2 to find out whether There's any delays on their behalf, and there wasn't yet a refundor advised that they would be taking 50% of my claim as they had to go via court to get my money from Jet2 LIE!.. Then they told me they had already transferred my money to my girlfriend's account. Another lie! Now they are saying they have money for one passenger only and won't transfer my money to me until they receive money for the second passenger. It's been a year now.NEVER EVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!!!

Fraudulent or slow?????

Told me over two months ago that my claim from last October had been settled and requested bank details. Since then I’ve messaged on numerous platforms and had promises of a response within 2 working days but nothing. I’m really suspicious that they are fraudulent! Do not use!!!!

A year ago I contacted this company for support. In May, the airline reported that everything had been settled and they transferred the amount to Refundor. On August 25, Refundor, after my letters, wrote that yes, LOT confirmed the payment, asked for bank details and replied that everything would be transferred within a month. And they disappeared. No matter how many times I wrote to them, there was no answer. I don’t even know how much they will transfer to us for 3 passengers and a canceled flight. Why nobody doesn’t respond?

Would not use again

Would not use again. Still waiting on refund from July 2022. Was told nearly 3 months ago transaction would take place but nothing. Chased several times with no update. Not worth the stress or time for the supposed 'convenience'

Still didn’t got my money…

It’s been more than 6 months and they told me that the airline didn’t give them any money. If I ask them to give me some evidence, they don’t have it. They tried to fo me. They send a response from the company, but didn’t have any of my details. My husband made the claim with another company and got the money back in 2 weeks. I won’t use refundor again!!!

It seems as Refundor is a fraud

It seems as Refundor is a fraud. I’ve filed a claim a year ago and didn’t receive any money. There is no way to communicate with them except messenger when they never reply to.
I received an email to update my bank information as they can not refund the money to PayPal even though there was an option however there is no link for me to update the information and original link has expired.

UPDATE: Slow but legitimate company

Edit (13 SEP 23): Compensation eventually arrived, satisfied that the company is still running a legitimate business. However, much can be done to improve the email responsiveness and customer service, so we are aware of the status of our payments and approximately when they will arrive.

(9 SEP 23) Emailed them six times. On the third email they told me that Etihad had approved my compensation claim and they would transfer me the money shortly. It has been a year and the payment hasn't been made. Completely unresponsive to my emails since the start of 2023. This is an untrustworthy company that is either operating a scam or has extremely poor customer service.

Dear Rick, please reply to our Trustpilot email. We will check your claim once we receive the details - it sounds like there has been problem with communication on our side, and the airline has approved but not yet paid the compensation (hence, you haven't received the payment).

I thought it was a scam after I didn’t…

I thought it was a scam after I didn’t receive my money for a long time.

But they are super busy and airlines play hard ball. After 11 months , finally got my compensation.

The effort on my part was minimal but you have to be patient.

Long story short . They are legit , you will get your compensation, just be willing to be patient.

As I say , took me nearly 1 year after I filed the claim but I got it which is the main thing.

I would recommend these guys as they do the job.

Refundor a total shambles

Following on from my previous experiences with the sham company Refundor I received the following email after I wrote to them stating KLM had already paid my compensation.

We have not forgotten about you and our team is doing their upmost to provide you with updates and payments in a timely manner, however, due to extraordinary workloads, our responses and transfers will be delayed. We sincerely apologise for the long waiting period but you can be rest assured that our team is working to minimise your inconvenience arised from these circumstances . Your patience is greatly appreciated and we thank you for your understanding.
First of all you are not providing me with updates. You have my money according to KLM. I have waited 15 months. What do you mean my patience is appreciated . Stop scamming me and pay what you owe. You have all my bank details. You told me 4 months ago that my money was processed incorrectly. You deliberately mislead people. That’s how you make your money by being dishonest . If you want me to stop my negative reviews then pay me now. I have waited long enough.

After complaining intensely about them on here and on Facebook this shambles of a company has finally paid me £250 in to my bank account. It should be £450 so they have taken 50%. They only paid me because I was showering them negative publicity. They didn’t even email me to say the money had been debited to my account. *************So my ordeal is over with the worst ever company I have ever dealt with REFUNDOR. Please do not do any business with them. You will regret it!!!!

After 11 months, the airline confirmed they resolve the case and they keep sending BS emails such as the one below! Big Big Big Scammers! Its what they are! For doubts contact me and I can share my full experience with the worse company I have ever had the displeasure to engage in my life!

Dear Sheylla, unfourtunately, but there are claims that take long, extra long or it turns out that they can't even "be solved"(you can't get money). If the airlines paid easily, there wouldn't be flight compensation companies.

INCOMPETENT, 600€ slam dunk wasted

After more than 2 years of lying and decieving from Refundor's side, they sent me an e-mail that they're giving up on my case. Just like that and the slam dubk case, where the airline itself confirmed twice that they already resolved the issue, went to nothing. Trust your case to the company that actually shows proofs that they're winning cases at courts, cause the only thing that refundor does is that from time to time they send a polite e-mail to the airline, if they're willing to pay the compensation. If their conscience was clean, they would heave shown me the timeline of actions they've made on my case with written proofs, but they're just ignoring such requests for more than a year. Bunch of incompetent liars that have wasted 600€

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Following on from my previous reviews of the scammer business Refundor I emailed KLM to find out wether they had received my claim completed by Refundor. I got a reply today and I am not surprised.

So as I thought Refundor have my money. I am due £600 less 25% their cut. They have kept all of the money as I suspected. I wish I had claimed myself now and not used this scammer company. I know Refundor read the reviews on here and will probably ask me to email them and when I do they just ignore.
Most of the 5 star reviews are fake so please readers read the 1 star ones as they are genuine. I have read them all and every poster posts similar experience. Refundor are based in Latvia and the company holder is a millionaire. We now no why.

A total scam

A total scam. I have started a claim on November 2021 towards Lufthansa. I still haven't heard from them. I have contacted them several times by emails and they keep telling me the same thing " it has been escalated to the next stage". I have never received any update anything at all.

Zero communication and case closed after 4 months

Zero communication. Only when I was sending them emails requesting any kind of information, I was getting very vague replies. After over 3 months from submitting the claim to refundor, I emailed again asking what was going on. I received a reply that the airline was not cooperative and they had decided to close the claim! So, if I hadn't emailed, I would still be waiting till now thinking the claim was being processed! A total disgrace. Funny enough, after that I made a claim directly with the airline and received the statutory 250 EUR refund (refused boarding due to the flight being overbooked) after less than a week! I was worried that after such a long time since the actual flight (March 2023), the airline might say the time for me to make the claim has already passed! But no- they processed it straightaway! I could have got that money months ago! Don't waste your time like I did, refundor has either no legal authority to deal with an airline in your name, or they don't know how to do their job- probably both!

No results, no communication and a case closed after a year of nothing

From the very beginning there was zero communication unless me, always kind and respectful, would chase.

They haven't done a single thing, they kept me always in the dark, and almost a year after, they only sent an email saying that actually the case is closed and they aren't answering my emails anymore... They are either not competent or they are actually working with the airlines, making big claims like mine useless or invalid... I should never trust in these guys, the bad reviews were the real ones!

It’s been 3month I received emails that airline approved compensation and I sent all my bank details unfortunately I still haven’t received my money. There is no way I can contact this company. I applied through this website last October and it was my biggest mistake. My friends got money back from airline last March and I still don’t know where my money is . I will never use this company

Poor customer service

I have applied for compensation with Refundor from September last year. Todate there is no progress whatsoever to our case, and what's really bothering me is there is no communication either. Not impressed with the level of service
