Fantastic company with incredibly helpful staff who are very professional and cannot do enough for you. could not recommend highly enough!!!!

We have had two positive outcomes when using Fanmerch. The staff are very helpful and kept us UpToDate throughout with any updates.

As a company we have used Jack at Redwood collections a few times now, the referral of debt is simple and takes minutes to set up.
I have found them professional and have managed to secure most of our outstanding payments without any added stress.

Over-promised on their ability to recover a £4,000 debt. Recovered nothing at all, but incurred charges in excess of the original debt and then had the cheek to take me to court to recover the monies from me. CCJ was then issued against me, but they won't be getting a penny as they didn't achieve anything! So my £4,000 debt is now in excess of £8,000.

Don’t trust this company. They will promise you the world but then con you with hidden fees and charges.

Stay away from this con company. Instead of recovering anything, they will make you spend more on bad debt. Their expertise is zero, and now they want to sue us for not paying their charges. Lol.

My parter had a cold call from Redwood Collections LTD many years ago, attempting to get business from him - Regarding compensation from an Amigo loan of his.
They asked my partner for some information during the call and he listened to how they could ‘help’ him. Nothing more was said. He did not ask for any action to be taken, only heard them out after they approached him with a cold call.
Now…many, many, many, years later. Amigo where taken to court due to due to a large number of customer complaints regarding the company's practice of mis-selling loans by failing to properly assess borrowers' affordability, leading to a huge compensation bill and ultimately causing the company to face insolvency; this resulted in the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) taking action against them and forcing them to go through a court-approved scheme to pay redress to affected customers.
Redwood had no involvement in the money being sent to my partner and he had no contact with them about doing so. They heard that he received money and wanted some and billed him over 2k for using their services! I don’t even know how this company is legitimate. A scam if you ask me !

Fortuately for us, we don't get many debtors, but when we do Redwood are eay to instruct and, so far, have always delivered.

This company advertises a 'no collection, no commission' guarantee to attract customers by promoting affordability without upfront fees. However, once you reach out to them, they reveal a hidden condition: for debts under £500, there’s a £50 upfront handling fee, with no commission charged. This practice feels misleading and undermines the trust customers place in their guarantee. Transparency in advertising is essential, and such discrepancies should be clearly communicated upfront to avoid confusion or disappointment.

Had a client who for months, hasn't paid for completed work and would constantly ignore my calls and emails. Desperately searching for ways to collect these payments and came across Redwood Collections. I was introduced to Billy who made sure I was fully informed on the entire process and finally managed to collect on what was owed. I would definitely recommend them for anyone facing similar issues.

Our small company has used Redwood for around a year with little success for reclaiming debt.

In one instance Redwood advised there was no more they could do and advised us to pursue the debt legally through Redwood Legal solicitors, which we did resulting in charges from the solicitors. Fair enough, they actually managed to reclaim the debt. We paid their fee directly to them and thought that was the matter closed, only to then receive a 15% commission charge from Redwood Collections!
Why would we pay an additional 15% to them on top of what was paid to the solicitors when they failed to reclaim the debt? When questioned, Redwood have repeatedly dodged and ignored our requests for evidence of work they did to warrant the 15% commission.

In another instance, Redwood filed the claim paperwork against the wrong person and tried to charge us again to reissue. Imagine asking your customers to pay for your error.

Getting complaints resolved is impossible. They accept no responsibility and offer no solutions. After a time they simply stop responding.

Ultimately, we as a business have spent far too much money and time with this company when it would be easier to cut out the middleman and go directly to a solicitor and pay their fees.

I have made it clear to this company that some members of the Redwood Collections team have misled me from the outset by making false statements about commission charges and not making it clear about their fees This is reflected by other clients' reviews on Trustpilot.
I believe that Redwood Collections are very accustomed to dealing with complaints although the PR people at Redwood make out that they are surprised when someone makes a complaint.
I notice on the Trustpilot reviews about 25% of Redwoods Collections reviews are negative. And most are highly critical.
They use bullyboy tactics by threatening client's with legal action. When all along its them who are at fault.
