I have one external account listed for…

I have one external account listed for transferring cash in and out; was told that that choice can never change? It belongs to my credit union and I would prefer to change to another bank so I could move larger amounts at one time

For security and regulatory reasons, there may be restrictions around changing a previously linked external account. That said, being told it can “never” be changed certainly warrants clarification, and we’re sorry for any confusion or frustration this may have caused.

I really like doing busines with Raisin and their partner Banks!

I really like doing business with Raisin. They are always supplying us with Banks that are willing to offer us reasonable savings rates to help us earn interest on our money. No matter how much or little you have, you can feel confident that your money will work for you.

Attempted to open an account

Attempted to open an account, but their system claims it can't verify my identity. I called and they reset it, so I tried again and it still couldn't verify it. I have my license, social security card, and birth certificate and haven't moved in 7 years, so seems very bizarre.

Abysmally poor customer service

We had a high yield savings account at Raisin. A couple of weeks ago we tried to have the contact telephone number changed. We both called Raisin and tried to change it online. No luck with either strategy. On several occasions we spoke with a man named Josh O. He had us go through several cumbersome procedures and told us that the contact number would be changed. It never was. So, we withdrew the funds that were deposited at Raisin. We will never do business with them again. They have abysmally poor customer service and their agents are unkind and incompetent. Overall, dealing with them has been a nightmare.

Your Cutomer Service rep

Your Cutomer Service rep, Nate, was excellent. But your policy, which he explained, is terrible -- when Raisin's promotional offer language is ambiguous, Raisin will not make good on the customer's valid interpretation. The burden should be on Raisin to clearly explain their rules, and pay promo rewards when Raisin's language causes customer misunderstanding. No more Raisin for me!

Bizarre process to update checking account

Decent marketplace for high yield savings and CDs. However. If you want to change the checking account you’re using to transfer funds, you have to submit a service request and they require you to provide a bank statement of the account to prove you own it (something that is not needed at the initial setup). I find this bizarre. The only “proof” a bank statement provides is that a pdf has been created that matches the requested account. It’s easier to just open an account at another online bank.

Great Company to Facilitate Investing funds…

I became aware of Raisin while browsing and was very suspicious of scamming possibilities because the offers seemed too good to be true. I researched more, spoke to their Reps and decided to take a chance. The Reps are very knowledgable (Leon--all of those that I had spoken to) and my bonus was deposited into my account without a hitch. What a great experience that was--so far-- I have yet to transfer funds out so am hoping that experience will be satisfying as well.

This is the worst experience I have…

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I am 85 years old and would not recommend Raisin to any older individual. Everything was fine until I transferred hundreds of thousands of dollars to Raisin. As soon as they got my funds they locked my account January 12 of 2026. First they asked for front and back of my driver's license which I provided. Then wanted a selfie which I provided. Then wanted a copy of my bank statement. I provided that and even provided a screenshot of my bank account. Then they said they needed a digital copy of my bank account which I provided. Last communication from support was January 16 saying the earliest they could provide update was Tuesday January 20 because of holiday. Well this is Tuesday and I have emailed support with absolutely no answer....

UPDATE: My account was unlocked 01/23/26. I can appreciate making sure information is correct. The delay was just concerning but everything is ok now.
