Its a nightmare to deal with the customer service,especially if you need to update your banking information. What should be a simple process becomes unnecessary extremely complicated and time consuming. They are not helpful or easy to deal with like other platforms or banks in US.

Raisin customer service is stellar

Great online savings platform
Starting the account and transferring funds was super easy with just a couple minor hiccups which were addressed by a very responsive customer service.

They took my $250K & locked me out of my account! Horrible customer service!
They took my $250K when I opened the account, then immediately locked me out of my account for “security reasons”. Said I had to verify my identity using some face scanning thing that wouldn’t work. They said there was no other option, and would not give me access to my money! So now I’m trying to get my money back. They won’t sent it back to my bank. They said I have to have my bank pull it back. It is ridiculous that they can just take my money and then lock my account. If they couldn’t verify me, why did they take my money?
They keep telling me to call their customer service, which I’ve done repeatedly, but they are no help at all! All they do is read from a script. If you give them a problem that’s not on the script, they won’t do anything to help you.

Using the website was not intuitive enough for me to complete this transaction without calling, unfortunately. Knowing that I needed to click on the bank currently holding the CD was not intuitive. Fortunately, the call was straightforward and short.
