I cancelled automatic renewal months…
I cancelled automatic renewal months ago but have had a payment taken from my bank account - I have obtained cheaper insurance elsewhere. Trying to talk to someone is hopeless and my emails have not been responded to. Can I please have my money back?

However, disappointed with breakdown service, when used, would look not to include next time.

Very poor insurer
Very poor insurer. From 6 months ( I made claim 02/04/2026) I waiting for replace damaged windshield. No any help. I am strongly not recommends.

I just got my new price for the year…
I just got my new price for the year been with rac for over nine years never made a claim but this I year I rang to see if I can get it cheaper they came back higher . Then they said I will stick with my first price I lost it because I asked for a new price . I think this his a joke just for asking about a new price I got to pay 24 pound more

I was able to speak to an operative over the phone to not only renegotiate my Insurance renewal and the operative was very professional and friendly.

Quote I was sent is what I am paying, £ 150 less than quote off my old car insurance company.

When the time came to renew my car…
When the time came to renew my car insurance I stumbled upon RAC Car Insurance through a comparison site.
I'll be honest—I'd never considered them before—but the price, excess and options they offered felt best suited to my needs, and it was considerably cheaper than my previous provider.
It's easy to maintain the account online—touchwood I've not had to contact them to make a claim, so I'm unable to comment on that aspect of the service.
