Everything was so easy to arrange and was sorted out immediately with no hassle.
Quote I was sent is what I am paying, £ 150 less than quote off my old car insurance company.

When the time came to renew my car…
When the time came to renew my car insurance I stumbled upon RAC Car Insurance through a comparison site.
I'll be honest—I'd never considered them before—but the price, excess and options they offered felt best suited to my needs, and it was considerably cheaper than my previous provider.
It's easy to maintain the account online—touchwood I've not had to contact them to make a claim, so I'm unable to comment on that aspect of the service.

After canvassing the market for…
After canvassing the market for competitive quotes, the RAC reduced its initial offer and therefore secured my business.That’s the good news but it became clear that within the organisation the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, as after renewing my insurance,I received both emails and post requesting me to renew. Also, I twice received the insurance certificate. What’s the problem?

If zero stars were an option ...
After 3 years of using RAC to insure my car I received a letter this morning to advise that my policy has been cancelled as I hadn't accepted my renewal ?? How odd I thought as I had not received any other communication so I call and ask to re instate my policy to be told sorry we cant do that ? When I explained that I had had no communication prior to this morning they told me I had been emailed this was in fact correct said email was in my junk folder!! I asked for a quotes and to my surprise it was almost £20 more an month than my renewal would have been? When I asked to raise a complaint I was told that their complaints team had a back log (not a surprise) and that I would be expected to wait at least 3 days for a reply - Not helpful when my vehicle is not insured ... The agent I spoke to was very apologetic but could not offer me and form of resolution .... Conclusion RAC do NOT care about there customers just about making money AVOID AVOID AVOID
