Called RAC as someone accused me of reversing into their car. I explained my situation. I was told not to worry as there are many scams. Then put the phone down on me.

RAC increased my premiumfrom£358pa to £645(approx), for no good reason that I could see.A"staggering increase!"When I spoke to avery decent operator they went up to £1,000+finally back to original quote of £650.
After doing a search I decided to stick with the 'devil you know'---- purely for convenience. I am 86 yrs old and drive 4,000 miles per year on average.Having been happy with RAC for a fèw years I now am with them under protest and regard them as just another mercenary bunch of opportunists.

First time using this company
First time using this company, was paying £30 per month for one car which is very reasonable, I went to swap cars and they claimed that the new fee per month is £90, they refused to lower it and in the end I cancelled the insurance and went elsewhere. Total con artists and incredibly rude and unprofessional call takers, they clearly don't expect people to walk away and when you do, they fake happiness soon fades and their bullying tactics come out to play.
