I have breakdown at about 11 pm and reported about 11:30 , first given time 11:30 to 12:30 am some will come to repair, just about 12 am it changed the time it will be 3 am, I did called and agents said the will not be changed, but again changed 6:20 am to 8:20 am , and about 3 am RAC called me to served paid taxi to home and I did asked how can I will weak up at 6 am and how will I back to car when I will receive call from technician, so refunded to go home, over the night waiting and able to sleep due to keep time changed, again now time updated 7: 40 am to 9:40 am. I did called and agents said she escalated the issue. But my understanding is due to keep changing the time af attendance I was not able to sleep not a sngle sec for full night. Now also not able to sleep as they may call anytime and if missed it definitely be more late. So much unpractical system which given more then car breakdown. If not able to repair within the time should tell specific tome by taking long time. But continued changed time is fully stressed. Worst service ever. Break down reported at about 11 am and till morning now 6:15 no one come to repair.

Avoid these like the plague. They have left my 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend stranded on the M56 motorway at mid night for nearly six hours. They then cancelled the recovery truck. Nothing else was booked. Eventually I want the call centre and was told your best bet is to ring 999 to get them recovered. Another fiend of mine waited 29 hours last week to be recovered.
How would you feel if your kid was left on the side of a motorway for 6 hours only to find out at midnight no one is coming for you……I live three hours way. Had ai know I would have left at 18:00 and sorted it myself. An absolute disgrace shambles of an organisation.

My car insurance was due for renewal.
RAC had all my bank card details fir payment and they made out my card was no good and charged me £20 for late payment.
There was nothing wrong with my card details they just wanted to gain an extra fee for no reason at all.
When I spoke to a customer service representative they argued with me after many times I tried to tell them the payment card was ok.they took payment so I know they was just scamming me fir extra money.

My advice to anyone seeking insurance is to avoid this RAC n move on to a more respectful one
Also you can't call them.
So they use overseas call centres.
That winds me up because they can't speak or understand plain ENGLISH
