We do have 2 policy types; we have standard RAC, which comes with call centre support, and RAC online-only policy type, which is more budget-friendly and does not have contact center support but has reduced fees and lower premiums so that customers can select what best suits their needs.
If you send your policy details to us at socialresponders@bglgroup.co.uk, we would be happy to assist you with your query. Your case will be dealt with by BISL Limited, who arrange and administer your car insurance policy on behalf of RAC.

Worse than appalling - don’t even consider using this company
Worse than appalling. Information I’ve sent to set up a new policy has not been acted on, there has been no linking of my emails and any information or proofs connected to my policy, and my premium on a new policy has been increased exponentially.
I have been charged just under £200 for less than one month’s insurance for my new VW T Cross - I have over 25 years of NCB.
Virtual chat and assistance is less than useless.
I have terminated my policy after a month with a week’s notice, only to be told that the policy is inactive immediately, although payment has been taken for the extra week. I have had nothing but negative experience, contradictions, increased charges and nonesense from this company.
I am so pleased I’ve not had to rely on this appalling service to make a claim.
