Highly recommend
This company is amazing. I tend to be too wordy when I write, and they helped trim my sentences to be much more precise while still maintaining my voice. They work quickly, and their editors are all very friendly and wished me luck with my work. Highly recommend.

Efficient and supportive *human* help
You have been very efficient and supportive, solving my doubts and with perfect timing. I appreciate the clarity of the suggestions. I particularly appreciated the correct British punctuation and quotation marks, given that I am more accustomed to the American standard and made a mess. The only change I had to make was about kinds of quotation marks, given that I used smart (curved) quotation marks and the correction was with neutral (straight) quotation marks. But it was just a find/replace. You asked me to check all corrections, and I did it, finding only two or three unnecessary changes (mainly inside quotations where there were English errors that needed to be kept given that they were inside quotations). Comments were useful because they alerted me on this last problem (mistakes inside quotations). Very quick, very efficient, and - most of all - very *natural* way to make correction. I admit I use automatic/artificial correctors like Grammarly or Quillbot, but they are needer for a first draft and it is very relaxing to have your paper checked by a human professional.

Hi Ahmed,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience here.
We've now communicated with you via email and resolved the issue for you.
You said that you weren't happy with the level of editing but did not point to any specific issues, so we carried out an additional edit free of charge.
We were glad to see that you were happy with the new edit we provided.
Additionally, it seems that part of your frustration was due to not receiving an immediate response to your messages. We apologize for this, but unfortunately, your messages came outside of our customer service operating hours, which are 8 am to 12 am.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address the issues you raised. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

My polished manuscript came back to me…
My polished manuscript came back to me perfect. The editor explained clearly where my faults were and advised me how to correct them. The rest of my story flowed with the help from the editor. I received it back quickly and accurately. It's the best editing I have seen for along time along with my prologue I had done previously. I highly recommend Proofed to anyone searching for a professional service regarding proofreadering.
