As a long-standing Payflex customer and merchant, I am extremely disappointed in how I’ve been treated.

I own a registered business that has used Payflex as a payment gateway for years without issue. Recently, a client placed an order during a high-volume period (Black Friday). Despite clearly stated terms and conditions – which include a no-refund policy and production lead time for custom orders – the client refused delivery of their order and then contacted Payflex for a refund.

Without contacting me or requesting any documentation, Payflex proceeded to refund the client directly and then demanded that I pay them back the full amount. When I challenged this – based on our business terms and the fact that the goods had already been shipped – I was met with a legal threat.

Not only was my merchant account disabled, but shockingly, my personal Payflex shopping account was also blocked, despite having an impeccable payment history and consistent monthly use. I received no warning, no request for explanation – just immediate restriction of access.

This experience has been both unfair and unprofessional. As a business owner and individual consumer, I am deeply disappointed that Payflex would take such drastic actions based on one-sided information, especially against someone who has supported and promoted their platform consistently.

I expected more accountability, communication, and fairness from a platform that markets itself as customer-focused. Unfortunately, this has completely broken my trust in Payflex.

Thier responses are very slow to queries, I have had a duplicated transaction and charged twice, still no refund and the dulicated transaction is still reflecting on my profile in the payflex app.

Can't complain hey,which is rare because most retailers f**ks sh***t up but haven't had any problems with payflex & would recommend it.

Payflex is doin me dirty ,I’ve been requesting them to change my old numbers to new ones, but they don’t respond to our emails even reviews ..smh I feel like they really don’t care about their customers.

I have notified payflex that my account details have changed they still debiting my account and every time I phoned it automated voice message plays, saying they experiencing very high call volumes and then the call drops. Plus their app doesn't seem to work, eventually when I could pay for my order, which the app decides to work after the 1st with R125 penalty, which is not my fault, and seems very convenient. So I must pay a penalty, I never had this problem in the past, and now, there's a problem. I just want to pay the installment amount and nothing further plus also it went up by another R125 which the total penalty is now at R250, and the message says it will go up by another R125, which the email states otherwise. Can someone please contact me that is competent to handle this issue ASAP. This a week before the 1st of May 2025, and today is the 8th of April 2025, with no proper feedback.

Bad service! it's been 14 days since I've been waiting for PayFlex to pay back my refund, I'm unable to get any help from them. PayFlex is BAD and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody!!!
CAN SOMEONE KINDLY HELP ON HOW I CAN ESCALATE THIS MATTER!!

At first I saw it on my email and asked my friend about and he told me that it’s safe and reliable and I tried it
