Overall good service.

Overall, good service. Had telephony issues which took quite a bit of time to clear up, but eventually solved. Would like to see a better customer service set up. The robo help system might be good for basic issues but not for anything else. Can be confusing.

lowest cost of 100/50 in Australia but best value

As the cost is lowest in Australia, expect performance to be the same and you wont be disappointed. Their advertised TES is 350Mbps, but my experience is between 400 and 500 most of the time. there are occasional dropouts but uptime is well over 99.99% of the time. My overall experience is great value for the cost.

Quick, easy and a very happy Optus survivor

Moved over due to issues from Optus. Optus knew we needed a visit but it was all too hard. Joined up with Myrepublic and then obviously the technical issue was still present. From initial contact to sending a technician out it was 2 days max. I got messages to let me know what was happening a 20 minute heads up prior to arrival and a technician waiting for me to finish my school run to make sure I was happy. Oh and then a follow up call. I almost passed out from the shock of getting customer service. Oh and to top it off. Better nbn for less money.

My republic supply me with a very fast internet with Great customer service

My republic supply me with a very fast and reliable service. Any time I have a problem ( twice in 2 years ) they are very fast to fix the problem and follow up to make sure that the problem does not reoccur

Apalling Support and Only Via Chat

Really, the worst supporting technology and support ever.

While the actual internet facility is very good for the most part…the support offered really lets it down.

YOU ONLY GET CHAT (bot) SUPPORT FROM 9am to 5pm Monday - Saturday so if it's outside those hours you're toast.

Good luck connecting. The dropouts are appalling. Good luck getting through the onerous identification process, even though you’re on the mobile app and have already been identified by your facial recognition, to get into the app. Good luck getting a support agent who can help. If I could rate the support with a negative amount of stars, I would.

With no internet I was unable to…

With no internet I was unable to contact My Republic for help and had to rely on my daughter to use her email to contact you. Once contact was made the service was very good.

MyRepublic For The Customer

MyRepublic from the beginning has been making sure my service is up to standards. They are helpful, listen to everything I have to say and immediately fix any problems I have had. I can email them and within half an hour they respond and resolve my query.

Very bad customer service

Internet is dropping without any alerting. They use to txt us when we wre in Syndney. Not anymore in Central Coast. The worst is to contact them, you are waiting and waiting for ever on the chat to be connected to somebody. After you are connected, they are not able to help you, telling you to buy new modem, when modem is OK, because for some reason the internet is working after a few hours. On the chat you are waiting soooo long for answers, (especially with Marlon) and after all he is dropping connection with you. I have this experience with him 3 times during last 2 weeks. Together I have spent about 5 hours on this chats, can you imagine? Its so frustrating.

I was made order for change my plan on…

I was made order for change my plan on 11/10/22.
Request as change start date is 15/10/22.
On 15/10/22 I was talking over the phone and said it was canceled by Myrepublic staff so I asked for escalate my order.
I am still waiting my order complete.
If my republic do not want to do, I have to change provider.

Went round and round in circles with…

Went round and round in circles with the autobot messaging which was frustrating and time consuming but once I got into chat with fellow human my queries were answered and fulfilled. But why is it so difficult to pick up the phone and talk to someone these days? Sometimes issues / requests can be resolved so much quicker.

Hi Tony,

Around 2 years ago, we transitioned to online support only through Live Chat, Emails, and Social Media. This was a business decision, and we kept our call centre for sales only. This is in line with industry changes and is a change other ISPs in AU are making. If an outbound call is necessary to resolve your concerns, we will arrange a callback suitable to your availability. Our chatbot ( Rocketbot ) is also constantly being improved. While I appreciate your feedback on the downsides of the contact channel, this is the direction MyRepublic has been on for 2 years now.
