too many downtime

Frequent maintenance occurs around midnight and the network becomes unavailable.
Many people are still awake during this time.
This is not possible with today's Internet.
If you are going to do maintenance, please do it from 3 am.

While we were overseas

While we were overseas, our house sitter told us of a problem with our internet connection. NBN were laying cables in the neighbourhood. Our house sitter needed a secure connection for his studies. Myrepublic resolved all of our problems contacting the house sitter and replacing a faulty modem. Many thanks.

Purchase Experience

A very simple process, uncomplicated and not time consuming. Options were clearly laid out and choices were easy to make. Payment is simple, the purchase of a superior modem was discounted with a 2 year contract. The speed tier is an excellent option when comparing the price against other providers.

Amazing, Easy Setup, Reliable and Responsive.

Honestly a great system running here. Such an easy easy process to select the correct plan best suited to you and your needs accompanied by a strong enthusiastic team that jump on any concern you might have both via email and/or sms. The setting up process couldnt be more clear and easy, literally took me 10 minutes and I was already watching videos using my new wifi. I had accidently made a duplicate order, they had this issue resolved within two days! Great stuff, recommended to all my mates as its a great and simple system for first timers getting their own wifi.

My Republic - Worst provider I have so far

Worst provider I have so far. Signed up for the ultra fast package. Was told at signing on that no need to do anything and they will send me an email once the service is connected. No email came, speed was slower than my previous provider at the slower package. When I called technical support, they keep insisting I need to test the speed myself with a ethernet cable (which to me is obsolete equipment as my machines at home are all with USB C only). They wont send a tech to my house to check even when i told them I dont have an ethernet port. Been stuck at this point for already 3 weeks. Tried to arrange for a callback on a fixed day to see what can be done. They didnt even bother to call back. What a scam company!

Stay away from this provider- too painful

No phone support, all on chat. all IP address are located in Sydney, so if you are located anywhere else, it's an absolute pain for shopping and deliveries. They over charge when terminating, not allowing a sub month charge. None of the staff are located in Australia, they are just painful to deal with.

We are actively using this platform to understand better where we do well and learn our customer's pain points.

For some customers, a lack of phone support is a deal breaker, and that’s completely understandable but when you Live chat with us and if an outbound call is necessary to resolve your concerns, we will arrange a callback suitable to your availability. Apart from that, we are also available via our Social Media platform as well as online webform.

As of the moment, our Point of Presence (POP) is in Sydney alone but plan to set up more POP's in other cities is already in the talks. We will communicate this once we have them up and running.

As for the termination, we have always been transparent with our policy which is shared via the CIS of your plan upon sign up.

I had my fttc upgraded to fttp

I had my fttc upgraded to fttp. I signed for the 1000/50 plan but they put me into the 250/50 instead
To make things wurst took them almost 3 days to change me to the correct plan
Then the speed was good only as I was in a call with Benjamin from Melbourne.

As soon as he hang up the call the speed went back to approx 300/ 30

After 2 week and still on going they still can’t provide me with the advertised speed of 1000/50

I get messages every 2 day telling me that management is working on the issue. Bloody hell I told them to fix it once and for all.

We are in august now and still waiting.
