In SG service is good but I bought a roaming eSim through the app for MyRepublic Everywhere and once I have paid for it, it takes me to the MyRepublic Everywhere app to download eSim but says the app is too old for my version of Android so I cannot download - first disappointment. I then check the confirmation email and there's a no to message on WA. No reply whatsoever. just took the money with no reply or way to download - that is a scam.
Now been told the service is discontinued but they still sold it to me on the app - scammers
I have a problem to connect to overseas…
I have a problem to connect to overseas numbers. The case was open for 3 weeks without being solved. I tried their chat, but it's a stupid bot which is no help and when finally you get to speak to someone they take so much time to answer that the chat timesout and you have to restart all over again.
This is happening with Myrepublic Singapore. I wanted to try, but their support is too bad and I am going to move back to traditional network.
Awful experience
Awful experience! NEVER use! I could never speak with anyone, tried to update CC details and it kept reading the old ones saying I was late for payment, kept getting suspension text message and could never resolve as there was NO customer service. I canceled at least 4months ago and today I just received a phone call from Super loop saying I owe them $348, I had no knowledge that I had migrated over to them so now I need to go through a complaint process as I’m defiantly not paying for a service I NEVER even knew I was signed up too! It’s an absolute mess!!! DO NOT USE! I am going to further as it’s really not fair

I got switched to superloop and my account was $80 in advance, i am trying to get that refunded but i can not get in contact with anyone and no one is contacting me back from the multiple requests and i have tried everything even the telecommunications ombudsman , never have i had a worse experience as a paying customer anywhere
Demand for outstanding payment
Demand for payment which is not yet due & is by automatic deduction so should never be an issue.
Online bot keeps sending the same irrelevant link.
This is not an online Chat!

Terrible Service (DON'T USE)
Encountered many issues, internet cut out multiple times every day for a month, contacted support staff twice to fix the issues, they failed twice. Support staff is all online which is terrible, company recently go ported over to superloop who's customer support staff are also unhelpful (outsourcing their company really gives me faith in their service, NOT!). Difficult to terminate account. Do NOT use this service.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. If you relocate your service to another ISP there is a great potential they will continue to bill you years after the fact, fail to contact you on your listed contact details regarding 'outstanding bills' which should never have existed, and then sell your debt to a collection agency and refuse to conduct any investigation with you as the former customer - relying instead to deal solely with the collection agency. Terrible customer service.
They were good to start with, in 2018, but they've gone to the dogs...
Their recent reply to this complaint only serves to highlight the lack of responsibility for their own ineptitude. If they were serious about customer satisfaction, they would let me request the investigation myself - even if that meant taking back ownership of the debt they sold. Just terrible.

Absolute proper spoon feds
Absolute proper spoon feds. No option to call them. You can only get a hold of them via online bots. Once you get in contact with them via silly live chat, they all have the IQ of a wet carrot. All the gear and absolutely no bloody idea. It’s unbelievable.

No resolution to no internet
I have had no internet for the pas 7 days and they have been unable to assist me to resolve the problem. I have been in contact with them for the past two days and there still is no resolution. Due to running a home business I have had to cancel my service with them where they are charging me another full month even though I haven't been able to use the internet for the whole billing period.

So you guys have a a like 5 hour+…
So you guys have a a like 5 hour+ internet outage on Australia Day?
What a joke, having the internet unusable on a Public holiday is really the pinnacle of my experiences with your company.
I've seen companies like Telstra issue thousands of refunds when their service is out for half the time you guys average.
I don't want a refund I'm just glad I have the experience for whenever someone asks me about a good internet provider.

This review for anyone MyRepublic is incorrectly attempting to collect debt from.
I'm leaving this review for anyone with similar experience with a collection agency acting on behalf of MyRepublic, as they seem to be shutting down in Australia and automatically generating incorrect debt.
I left MyRepublic in 2017 after moving house on their advice they could continue my existing service at the new address. This was untrue and so I needed to end my contract, and after months of frustration it was decided by MyRepublic that I was not liable for the $200 termination fee because they had assured me the service could be provided at the new address, and weren't able to fulfill the contract to provide service.
I am now unable to communicate with MyRepublic directly, the collection agency attempting to collect money is different from the one MyRepublic directed me to contact instead of dealing with them directly, and this second company mentions ANZ who I contacted and advised me to report to their scam watch team as they don't know why ANZ would be mentioned as collection agencies are this party. If I didn't remember the amount of the termination fee I'd be more suspicious but I am now expected to provide my personal details to this company in order to communicate with them, as well as the stress and lost time trying to call and talk with webchat bots that go nowhere.
This is an unacceptable way to manage/close business in my opinion, especially when the company continues to operate in other countries. If you know your account was resolved persist with fighting the debt and make sure it's not effecting your credit score, but be wary of giving them your personal details.

DISGUSTING.
I think the title says it all, but let me regale you with my tale of woe.
Approximately 5 years ago, I signed up to "My republic" when they were still reasonably new in Australia. Their pricing wasn't outrageous and there were no sign up costs (which was becoming rarer at that time). So I decided to give them a chance. (This was in June, 2018.)
Now, the first major issue I had with this was billing. They had told me since they were "new" they hadn't included a payment portal or added PayPal. So they only way to pay them was via direct debit. Though, other payment methods would be available in the future. Not a dealbreaker at that point, but not very convenient either.
Anyway, after the first month, work hadn't paid me on time and I hadn't transferred extra funds into the bills account, so when they went to draw, there wasn't enough money in the account (that's not their fault obviously)... But they were more than happy to hit me with a $10 late fee on my first month. Whatever, but okay. It was paid.
Approximately 5 weeks into the service, I needed to do port forwarding for something, couldn't get it to work with their included modem. So I jumped on their tech support to see what was going on. The customer service rep/technician told me I needed a static IP and would have to upgrade to their "gaming package" to do this. Wasn't happy about it, but seeing no other way, I agreed to the upgrade. Unfortunately, it still wasn't working. So got back onto them again. The next tech said, "No, you didn't need a static IP (which I had already argued with the first technician about) but you can't port forward with our modem." Completely ridiculous right? Well, it gets better... (well, worse...) So this new technician says, if you want to port forward, you will need to get your own modem. Call us when you have one and we can help you provision it.
So, that's exactly what I did. Went out and brought a $400 gaming modem from a local store. Set everything up and got back on their chat to provision it as I had been instructed. The technician I spoke to then told me they don't support aftermarket modems and refused to give me the credentials. Told me I needed to contact the manufacturer for support. Absurd right? Well... The story doesn't end here... After about a week of having no internet and arguing with these jerk offs at MyRepublic. I gave up, cancelled my service, returned the modem, paid the second month's bill and signed up with a different provider.
Fast-forward to the 20th of January 2023 (5 years later)... It's 4pm and I check my emails. I have a recovery notice from a debt collector on behalf MyRepublic? I'm thinking, what the hell? Checked it, and it had my name, old address, old phone numbers and all the correct details from 5 years ago will a full bill outstanding. The problem is, I had paid both the June and July bills, and moved onto a different provider. Thought perhaps it was a mistake or that this was a result of their data breach in 2022. So I tried calling MyRepublic, but couldn't get through. Tried their live chat, same thing. Didn't work. Tried calling the collection place... No dice there either, so had to wait until Monday.
Now, on Monday the 23rd Jan, I tried to get in contact AGAIN, with my republic, but had no luck. Ended up getting a hold of them today (Tuesday, 23rd) via the live chat. The person I spoke to was rude and dismissive. I had explained the situation, and they wouldn't have a bar of it. So I asked to speak to their higher up or someone else. In turn, they said, it's a collection issue, we can't AND WON'T help you.
So I called the collection people. Ended up speaking to them twice today, got the details. The alleged debt was from the service in June. The first bill I had paid. So I went back through my back records, got together the screenshots, invoices and other evidence and have now submitted them to the collection place to hopefully have this debt squashed.
5 YEARS... WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? I left your services for a reason, and I hope to never speak to or hear from you again. There is no point trying to put in a complaint against the customer service people I spoke to at MyRepublic, because the basic floor reps won't transfer the chat for you to make a complaint.

I was using MyRepublic when we stayed…
I was using MyRepublic when we stayed in Auckland, New Zealand, couldn't fault them, speeds were excellent, very little latency, and never had a drop out.
Arrived in Adelaide four months ago, just had NBN connected to our new apartment with MyRepublic providing the service. Over the week I've been checking the speeds of both the hard line to my Laptop plus the WIFI to phones etc and all above the stated average speeds on their website. I'm on their Home Ultra-Fast Plan and averaging 550Mbps on WIFI, hard line averaging at 600Mbps.
The only reason I gave the review a 4 was the Router took ages to arrive, maybe down to the couriers they use but I had NBN connected for nearly a week and couldn't use it
3rd Feb 2023...MyRepublic have now pulled out of Australia and have passed on their customers to Supercool.
