Scam. They send you debit cards that are Dead on Arrival. Then they make endless excuses as why your money is inaccessible. I have called them 9 times and been given every excuse imaginable. Basically they are holding my funds hostage with no way to recover the money.

Scam of a company. I was issued a card and one day later there was all these fraudulent transactions taking my balance to $nil. Called and was told it could be up to 90 days to get this back after I submit a bunch of personal information. I would avoid purchasing anything from this company.

I received a $24 virtual Mastercard gift card from a settlement, when I tried to use it at a restaurant card got declined since. it turns out that merchant charges temporary 20% gratuity, I was told by Card Wallet customer service that the address you put in the app for the card has to be the one they have on file, so I went to log into the My Card Wallet app to update the address, instead I got a pop up message that I am locked out so I couldn't correct my address, so I went to My Prepaid Center I couldn't log in to see if the address needs to be corrected, (the address they have on file doesn't have an apartment unit number so that may be the error) according to MyCard Wallet customer service I am locked out, they said try to log in in 24 hours, I actually lost earnings in the amount of hours I spent trying to get access to a virtual Mastercard that I rece for a class action settlement, why is it that recipients of these virtual cards now have to deal with both My Prepaid Center and My Card Wallet app

Wish I could give this awful company zero stars because I’ve never had a smooth transaction experience using them. Why are they still in business with no much complaints. Today I tried several times to use the debit card balance to reload onto Amazon gift cards but it keeps getting rejected. I tried using the card at their preferred retailers and the same thing, rejected, rejected.

I'd give it zero stars but that's not an option. I received a prepaid card as a gift, but I can't add it to my wallet, the card is declined, I called the help number and it says it's been blocked for security reasons and no one answers the phone. No way to get help when you login. Total scam. Don't know why any company would use this scam of a prepaid company for their "gifts".

WORST Prepaid Card experience in my life.
I've gotten 2 of these from my employer and none of them work, I've tried calling them but good luck with that, you will be thrown into an endless loop of Machines when calling their line, I will refuse any gift card from this provider moving forward.
UPDATE: DO NOT TRUST THEIR REPLIES, THE NUMBER THEY QUOTED IS NOT "THEIR TEAM'S" IT IS JUST A INFINITE LOOP OF ROBO PROMPT THAT TAKE YOU NOWHERE.

Online MC has not been accepted/declined at over a dozen vendors. I contracted BHN over four weeks ago to have the funds deposited to my Venmo, and now the balance is $0. But nothing has been transferred. Contacted BHN who advised the balance is zero because the card has been "retired" but the agent doesn't even know that means??

On three occasions I have encountered fraud with myprepaidcenter gift cards. The first two happened in 2023, with two cards, each valued at $150. I was unable to activate the cards as they had already been used entirely by the time I activated them. I was able to speak to customer service at that time and I submitted claims with original receipts, etc., three times before I gave up. They did not ever respond. Most recently I received a card valued at $350. I used it one time for $97.47. When I went to use it again I had insufficient funds for a $35 purchase. I logged in and there is a starting balance of $350, no transactions listed and an ending balance of $24.22. You cannot speak to a person, there is not a fraud department and most infuriating of all; I cannot even see the transactions of the fraud to dispute it. This company sucks, you cannot speak to a person any longer. Though even three years ago when you could, they didn't fix anything. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, YOU ARE THROWING IT AWAY IF YOU PURCHASE ONE OF THESE AS A GIFT!

My card keep declined.
I've 2 cards that can't be reedemed everywhere. The message from payment service is card declined. No contact whatsoever to reach them. They didn't care nor responsible for anything if this happend.

Worst experience. Out $5 only managed to use $1 . Then they block my card with $4 blamace. Unable to use my card now anywhere. Can anyone tell way to contact them ?

I received three Achievers Prepaid Mastercard Gift Cards through the Achievers platform, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.
All three cards were activated correctly, yet most attempts to use them resulted in a generic decline. This is especially frustrating because the cards state that they can be used anywhere Mastercard debit is accepted, which has not matched my experience. After trying multiple merchants, I was only able to complete one successful purchase at Adidas, which I later discovered is listed as an approved merchant on the MyPrepaidCard website, something I only learned after receiving the cards and which directly contradicts the earlier acceptance claim.
I reviewed the FAQ and followed all suggested steps, but there is no transparency regarding declined transactions. The My Card Wallet app does not provide any information or reason for the failures, making it very difficult to understand what is going wrong.

Was sent a prepaid giftcard in my email through National Grid through my prepaid center for $50 and card will not work anywhere, does not let me add to my apple wallet or my card wallet as I was told it was. I should have not activated online and waited for the physical card to be sent after the 2 week period. This is very frustrating!
Update: after being contacted and giving information regarding my prepaid card and account everything has been fixed and I have been able to add my card to my Apple wallet and use it for purchases no problem! Thank you very much for fixing the issue!

In all my years I have never had such a difficult experience with customer service as I have with my prepaid center. The whole experience started in December of 2024. I activated 2 gift cards that I received from a site called Achievers. Got the card numbers and necessary information to use them but after numerous attempts throughout the course of a year, they always were rejected. Found out later that they could only be used at approved merchants so I found a list of them but after trying numerous ones the results were still the same. Around the time of black Friday of 2025 I called numerous times and was even told that they would work but when I attempted a purchase through their approved merchants, it still wouldn't work. After the end of this year, when the cards had expired, (I was told by Achievers that the funds don't expire) I once again called in multiple times and when I finally got to the prompt to transfer to a person, it would put me on hold and hang up about a minute later. So now it seems that I am stuck with 2 useless cards. Makes me wonder if one of their agents scammed the money for themselves.

I got a 250$ voucher from my company on October. I wanted to use it for December holidays and turns out that it was not working. I complained at the website and nothing happened. I wrote a review here and atleast I got a response and my card was retrieved. But turns out that instead of 250$ they only gave me 70$. I am very disappointed with this service and demand immediate resolution of this. My case number is CS18833864. If this is not resolved immediately i will go to fairwork and my HR and ensure this company is never used again.

I received a link to a virtual card for the recent Facebook Settlement. Like everyone else, I can't use the virtual card online at all. When I activated thd card, I was directed to download MyCardWallet. The virtual card was added to the wallet and initially it allowed me to load $25 onto my 7-11 app. After that, the MyCardWallet app crashed and when I re-opened it, the gift card was not there. I then went to MyPrepaidCenter, logged in and added the activated card there. I had a balance left of $10.71, which was correct. No matter what site or mobile wallet I go to, the card is declined. I am not entering the numbers incorrectly, or using the wrong address, or going over the balance on the card. It just won't let me use it anywhere. Also, there is no place on the myprepaidcenter website to enter an address. There was on the MyCardWallet though when I activated the card. There is nothing to click on to add the card to Google Wallet as the email states. Again, there was a link to add the card to Google wallet on MyCardWallet. The MyPrepaidCenter website is useless. You can't add or verify your address. You can't choose to add it to Google Wallet as they advertise. The way they want you to contact Customer service is via mail. No email address or phone number for customer service. There is a number for lost or stolen cards that sometimes gets you to an operator that drops your call. This company needs to let people access their funds and stop ignoring their horrible service.
UPDATE: SO AFTER LEAVING THIS REVIEW, I SUDDENLY CAN'T LOGIN TO MYPREPAIDCENTER. I REQUESTED TO UPDATE MY PASSWORD BUT STILL CAN'T LOGIN. LEAVING A NEGATIVE REVIEW DOES NOT GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO DENY ACCESS TO AN ACCOUNT OR THE FUNDS THAT ARE MINE. I SMELL A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT STARTING AGAINST MYPREPAIDCENTER. LET'S JUST HOPE THEY DON'T TRY TO PAY PEOPLE WITH THEIR OWN USELESS VIRTUAL CARDS. ALSO, NOTICE ON THEIR RESPONSE THEY STATED THAT AN EMAIL REQUESTING INFORMATION WAS SENT FROM AN ADDRESS BEGINNING WITH "NOREPLY****". THIS OBVIOUSLY MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLY BY EMAIL. ONCE AGAIN, I CALLED USUNG THE NUMBER IN THEIR REPLY AND ONCE I GOT THROUGH I WAS PLACED ON AN AUTOMATED HOLD AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? YEP, THAT'S RIGHT, THE CALL WAS ONCE AGAIN DROPPED. THEY JUST DO NOT WANT ANYONE GETTING IN CONTACT WITH THEM. THEY WILL THEN LEAVE RESPONSES ON THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK STATING THEY TRIED CONTACTING BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE. HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS!?! MY NEXT STEP IS REPORTING THEM WITH THE BBB AND THE FTC. POSSIBLY EVEN THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMEBT FINANCIAL CRIMES DIVISION. I ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO THESE PREDATORS IF PEOPLE DON'T TAKE ACTION. THE QUIET MOUTH DOES NOT GET FED. FORCE SOME ACCOUNTABILITY ON THIS SCAM COMPANY AND DEMAND CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTEAD OF THE SMOKE AND MIRROR LIES THEY RESPOND WITH.

I purchased a Google Play subscription. The free trial works, but when the following week arrives, the card doesn't work even though it's valid for 6 months. Some cards are now showing as having incorrect information. And what's worse, they don't even have an email address to contact support.
