It was a trip to the airport so punctuality was important.The driver was not on time and we had to call him. When we called him he seemed to know nothing about our trip. Then we called again - before a driver appeared 15 minutes later. Unreliable
Avoid SIXT for Reliable Transportation!
I had a terrible experience with SIXT and want to warn other potential customers. After waiting nearly 30 minutes at the designated pick-up spot, I contacted the driver and suggested moving just 10 feet to a safer and more convenient location. I clearly communicated this, even sending a photo for clarity, and the driver agreed. Despite this, I was left stranded with no transportation, and SIXT is now placing the blame on me, which is beyond frustrating.
During this ordeal, I made numerous calls to both the driver and the company, all of which went unresolved. The lack of communication and the company’s unwillingness to take responsibility is appalling.
As part of an organization with over 8,000 members who frequently use transportation services, I will be advising against using SIXT due to its unreliable service and poor customer support.
Consider yourself warned—SIXT cannot be trusted for dependable transportation.
Showed up without a child seat, despite adding it to the order - left with no choice but to travel to Barcelona airport with my daughter unsecured. Called customer service and they lied to me saying another car was on the way - obviously it wasn't.
Crap, don't use.
The ride that I went on today was literally one of the scariest and worst experiences. Today was my first day in Stuttgart and I ordered a Van to get myself and my dog home. I googled SixT dog friendly and it sure says you are, but then I dealt with your driver. He called me and I said I had a dog. In the submission I said I had a dog and then he called me and asked me to text and I said I had a dog with a photo. Please keep in mind this is after 15 hours traveling from LAX.
Yet when I got in the car he started freaking out about the dog. He called me a s**t head and was just screaming at me for 5-10 minutes saying the dog was disgusting and stank and all the dog did the whole time was sit in my lap and not cause any trouble. This is completely unacceptable behavior. I am now working in Stuttgart and this was the first day of my living and moving here and this is the experience your company gave me. It is unacceptable, unprofessional and disgusting. How you could hire people like this shows that you are not a company to use EVER.
Die Preise sind inzwischen sowas von unverschämt geworden. Teilweise 50% mehr als bei Blacklane und dafür auch noch schlechterer Service und ungepflegte Fahrzeuge.
Im direkten Taxi Vergleich kostet Ride fast das doppelte. Im Vergleich mit Uber oder Bolt sogar das dreifache. Service und Ausstattung verbessern sich aber nicht mit dem höheren Preis. Wofür also bezahle ich hier mehr?
Anderthalb Tage vorab einen Flughafen-Shuttle gebucht. 20 Minuten vor Abfahrt kam die Stornierung - per eMail, nicht per Pushnachricht und/oder SMS.
Ich habe dann stattdessen ein Taxi genommen - für 95€ anstatt 125€ bei SixtRide.
Fazit: Nie mehr.
totally fraudulent. booked a car with a baby seat from heathrow. We were slightly delayed in baggage claims and when we got out driver informed us he had left (despite us being in constant communication with him and being well within the buffer time limit). we were stranded without access to a baby seat late at night.
They then had the audacity to charge me for it.
It is also impossible to reach customer service so had to go through credit card company.
Für den Preis nicht akzeptabel.
Gebucht wurde der Chauffeur Shuttle Dienst 04:00 früh zum Flughafen. Nachdem dieser zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt nicht da war habe ich angerufen . Es wurde nicht abgehoben. 5 Min später wurde ich angerufen, er hätte Probleme mit dem Fahrzeug gehabt, ist aber jetzt unterwegs. Stimme war total verschlafen. 10 Min später ist er jedoch nach Bewegungsdaten der App erst losgefahren. Hat aber gleich den Status eingestellt: bin vor Ort, die 15 Min. kostenlose Wartezeiten beginnt jetzt. Ich hatte dann auch noch Mehrkosten für die zusätzliche Wartezeit. Diese Zusatzkosten wurden retourniert.
Sixt Ride Chauffeur Service funktioniert richtig gut und bequem. Den Taxiservice von sixt kann ich allerdings nicht beurteilen.
Nie wieder, zumindest gilt das für UK. Wir haben zwei Buchungen vorgenommen und wurden jeweils enttäuscht. Es wurde jedes mal viel mehr abgerechnet und der Sixt Support reagiert garnicht auf unseren Einwand. Im ersten Falle war es ein Flughafen Transfer von London City. Statt dem bestätigten Angebot von £60 wurden £99 abgerechnet. Im zweiten Fall wurde für eine Zeitüberschreitung von 30 min statt dem Angebot von £158 für 2 Stunden letztendlich £248 für 2,5 Stunden abgerechnet.
Fake Angebot und Service. Schon zum zweiten Mal wurde mir eine Fahrt knapp eine Stunde vor Beginn storniert. Absolutes No Go.
Am Neujahrsmorgen über die Sixt App bei Sixt Ride ein Taxi bestellt von meinem Hotel in Kreuzberg zum Hbf. Von Sixt genannter Preis unter Anrechnung eines 20-Euro Amex Platinum Gutscheins waren 2 Euro. Das bestellte und von Sixt bestätige Taxi erschien auch innerhalb einer Wartezeit von 15 Minuten nicht. Erst 23 Stunden (!) nach der eigentlich gebuchten Fahrt erfolgte eine Stornierung („leider sind derzeit keine Fahrer für die angefragte Route verfügbar“). Telefonische Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Sixt Kundenservice blieb ergebnislos („Sie haben keinen Vertrag mit Sixt geschlossen, sondern mit Taxi Berlin“). Der mir entstandene Schaden (Mehrkosten für alternativ organisierte Fahrt) beläuft sich auf 19,30€.
Fazit: Hände weg von Sixt Ride!
Only used it once, Nice to Monaco. i thought the service was excellent. The driver was early, the car was superbly clean. The driver was informative, friendly, safe. Honestly really good option to get from Nice to Monaco.
Avoid at all costs!! Booked a ride on Sept 26 for Oct 16 2023. Had to cancel on Sept 27 2023. Their terms of cancellation allow for free cancellation 60 minutes before the pick up time. They submitted a cancellation charge for a ride almost three weeks from the booking date. Flagged it as fraudulent with VISA as soon as I received it.
nightmare - took booking, took payment. tried to take payment again but luckily our bank declined it. Car no show. Driver who's number was on the booking told us app is a scam and he was driving elsewhere. He also asked me not to contact him again! What a waste of time and effort getting our money refunded too... don't use them!
Fahrt von Markt Schwaben nach Erding gebucht. Angezeigter Preis in der App: 25-34 Euro. Tatsächlich bezahlter Preis: 83,70 Euro. Auf meine Nachfrage per Email, wie es zu einer derart hohen Differenz kommen kann, kam keine Reaktion.

Sixt took my money and just no-showed. No message, nothing. Impossible to get in touch with them.
DO NOT USE THEM.
Update: I got a refund automatically. (And a mail informing me that they had to cancel several hours after the pick-up time).
Transfer London Chiswick nach Stansted Airport. Das Angebot lautete exakt 143 GBP, abgebucht wurden 199,50 GBP
Man glaubte an die Seriösität eines deutschen brand names.
J ai utilisé en Angleterre. Prix de la course annoncé 130 euros prix réellement factures 230 . Hors la course s'est bien déroulé . Le chauffeur ne dit rien . Juste c'est bon c'est payé par l'appli . Ensuite il prélevé ce qu'ils veulent. Une belle arnaque
Via Google Maps verleid om de app te installeren om een grote taxi te boeken snachts. Na afschrijving van de creditcard en 0.0 confirmatie dat er ook echt een taxi ging komen kreeg ik argwaan. Na honderden slechte reviews toch snel op annuleren gedrukt. Nu maar hopen op een "normale" taxi of Uber.
