FRAUD! Steven appleby - also runs tile companies that looks like fraud too. No contact details. Poorly written emails if you get one back - no goods, and no refund. Working on getting the site shut down!

SCAM COMPANY - DO NOT USE.
This company takes your money and fob you off.
I never got a delivery and they take week to respond to emails if ever.
After 2 months of this I am now going through my bank for a chargeback.
They have told me a refund has been processed but my bank confirmed this has not happened.

I should have read reviews before ordering. Initially I was impressed with the prompt arrival of the samples I ordered. When I placed my main order, delivery was stated as 10 - 14 days, but took twice as long, holding up my builder and his work. You cannot phone mybrickwall.co.uk, and if you email them they ignore you. The quality of the bricks are poor and misshaped. Please AVOID and don't be sucked in by their website and samples.

I place a order and was told to pay as there was only so much in stock.
I paid over £2100 for the stock to be delivered.
I waited and waited giving them the benefit of Doubt having not received the goods.
You can’t contact them direct so emailed customer services continuously, most of the email they never even replied too. When the odd email was replied too was being fobbed off.
It’s now 11.11.22 and had to go through the bank to get a charge back for the money as they seem to had no intentions of supplying the goods or refunding my money .

Awful! Fraud! Ordered samples that came and were nice. Spent over £1000 on our order 9 September and nothing has arrived. Tried to get in touch with company numerous times and they do not respond. Asked for a refund and no reply. They are a scam company, do not use.

This is a scam operation. They send out good samples quickly. What you are likely to receive will be nothing like the samples if anything at all. Mine never arrived and neither did the refund. You will struggle to make any contact with them once they have your cash. I’m now processing a charge back via my credit card. Avoid!

I ordered a sample from My Brick Wall which arrived and looked great so we ordered 5.5 sq m for our kitchen project. The tiles arrived, soaking wet and not at all like the sample pack. I immediately tried to call My Brick Wall, to find the don't have a phone number......they assured me that the tiles I had been sent would "dry out" in 2 weeks and would be just like the samples I received. I disagree wholeheartedly with this claim and so did our builder. My Brick Wall arranged for the slips to be picked up and inspected and I'd receive a refund. This was 2 weeks ago, I have sent 4 emails, no reply whatsoever, the "live chat" option doesn't work and I am now £680 out of pocket. Absolutely appalling customer service and really suspicious company. I have seen many other negative comments on their social media channels which surprisingly vanish after a day???? Really really disappointed 😞

I was impressed with the quality of the samples and how thick they were. We decided they wouldn’t suit the room we were looking at on this occasion but would definitely order from My Brick Wall again.

This company is a nightmare to deal with. Please, for your own sanity AVOID. Do your research first, check out Companies House.
Steven Appleby has had many businesses, another being 'Appleby's tiles' (check out reviews for that too!!).

I have done nothing but chase this company since 2 weeks after I ordered (25th September). I shortly realised that there was no contact number on the website and the 'live chat' is there for decoration (always 'down' for maintenance). So frustrating in itself especially when your money has been taken and you've not got the goods.

I eventually recieved correspondence from Steven, saying the delayed order was actually MY fault because I ordered the wrong grout...then he took the grout off the order without my permission. Didnt receive a refund for this for weeks after chasing via email. To which, most of my emails were ignored.

My order was sent incorrect. They look NOTHING like they where supposed to. I was told by Steven my order was correct...he didn't even ask to see photographs or offer to resolve. Shortly after my complaint with him he took the 'Millhouse' brick slips from off his website - fortunately I had sceenshots of the product from when I ordered. He was also still advertising them on his Social Media!!

I obviously know my consumer rights, and he tried to tell me I wasn't eligible for a refund. But obviously the incorrect product was sent (looked like a load of samples), and due to distance selling regulations I demanded a refund. He tried to tell me I was liable to return...then went back to ignoring my emails!! Unfortunately, I had to take to extreme measures and contact him via his personal Facebook as he blocked me from all of his business pages.

He then emailed me saying he would no longer be contacting me and was going to get a solicitor to contact me for harassment - however, I've only ever spoken the truth about this company!!!

He agreed to collect but didn't tell me when and at this point (and after reading the awful reviews) I didnt believe I would get a refund. After several emails asking when my collection would be i was told a few days after that Pallet Plus had been to collect my order and tried to contact me and because I wasn't in its now down to me to return.

I rang pallet plus - they told me that they was told by Steven to deliver and to contact him when they arrived. They rang Steven Applebys business phone on 0780804005 and he told them he would contact me to tell me that they where going to contact. He obviously never rang me! Which proves he never had any intention of collecting!
I've since told Steven of my conversation with Pallet Plus - but he obviously is ignoring me again.

Fortunately I paid on credit card so I've claimed my money back that way, I've reported Steven to Fraud Police and also sent a report in to Watch Dog as I wholeheartedly believe that this is a major scam operation and I would hate for anyone to go through this stress.

This is NOT a fake review - it would be impossible to make all these things up!

I ordered a tile brick sample and was pleased that it arrived so quickly. Tile sample looks very nice, good thick quality but we decided that the wall we were going to do was not suitable for tiling. On the basis of the sample we received I would be pleased to order again in the future.

I ordered samples a while back (all ok) and just now received this email (copied below) from support at mybrickwall.co.uk offering a refund for a positive review on Trustpilot. Very sad and disappointing to encounter such dishonesty...

Unfortunately, like a few others have said on here, I have neither received my order or had a refund. It has now been over 2 months. I would stay well clear of this company to be honest. Really dishonest

SHOCKING COMPANY!! I ordered about £1000 worth of brick tiles they arrived wasn’t the product I wanted so I delivered them back and had to pay a 20% restocking charge which was originally 30%. This ordered was made well over 3 months ago and still not received my refund! I would well and truly avoid this company. Having to go through the bank to try and recover my money. Sent 7/8 emails and get no response and there is no phone number to contact. Awful!

I ordered some samples from MY Brick Wall, the selection is outstanding , but I definitely recommend getting the samples to get a real feel for the brick slips. SO MUCH character in these brick slips, so many different colour varieties to suit different properties style. They are. beautiful and we are going to place an order to install them in our fireplace ! Thank you My BrickWall - great customer service and samples order arrived promptly !

this company has no legitimate phone number
they buy from online brick slip company's double the price and get that company to deliver to you.
the products advertised are not what you receive
go and buy elsewhere and do not give these chancers a penny

Ordered on 2nd Sept 2022. Promised delivery 3-5 days. Nothing received by the end of Sept. Only way you can try to contact is via website e mail. No web chat, no phone number. Only response was a story about it being a courier issue or there was nobody at home?? Really!!??
Asked for a refund- Nothing. Going via credit card company now.

The goods finally came and the result is good. However we were promised the refund of the £50 delivery charge but this has not happened. I have sent numerous emails but no one has come back to us at all. Very disappointing.
