I made a mistake in placing my order

I made a mistake in placing my order. I ordered two of the new feeders when I only wanted to order one. I reached out immediately and was guided on how I could reach customer. I sent an E mail explaining my mistake. I got a prompt reply saying the matter had been rectified and I could not have been happier. Great customer service!

I love my Bird Buddy

The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the ignore species feature doesn't work on the free service anymore. Otherwise, I love everything about my Bird Buddy!

Very pleased with my Bird Buddy…

Very pleased with my Bird Buddy purchase for the past year. Clarity is excellent. Recognition is mostly right on. Only disappointment is I mounted it on the Bird Buddy mount and it does not hold the feeder in place. Wish the fit was tighter or holding in place better.

Regarding the mount, please make sure all screws are fully tightened and that the feeder is securely clicked into place. The Bird Buddy Team was super helpful

The Bird Buddy Team was super helpful. They worked with me to try to resolve the non- working feeder camera problem I was having. After it was decided my camera wasn't repairable, they sent me a new camera - free of charge - and sent me a prepaid mailing label to return the old, non-working camera. Then, they continued to check with me to make sure the new camera was working and that I was happy with the resolution of my issue. I give them 10 star rating and would recommend them to everyone.

Great service

Every associate that I communicated with was helpful and attentive and made the replacement of the parts as easy as it ever could have been. I have replaced them in my bird buddy and the birds are happy! I am too! Thank you.

Bird Buddy customer service has always gone
above and beyond to solve any issues I've had. At a time when service elsewhere has suffered, Bird Buddy excels. Consider this fine after care when deciding on purchasing a similar bird monitoring device. Avoid frustration down the road and stick with Bird Buddy brand. They're great!

misleading order form

The website order form is misleading as it automatically marks for a gift bag. I had to contact them separately to get that charge refunded. Additionally, one is automatically signed up for a subscription that renews automatically and has to then be cancelled separately. I find both these practices misleading and dishonest. It needs to be more transparent.

The hummingbird Birdbuddy and also the…

The hummingbird Birdbuddy and also the Birdbuddy feeders takes to long to process a bird “feeding or sitting”. It takes over a day to show a video. All situations for a video are good if not great with cleaning, amount of light, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. The birds are feeding and sitting long enough to process the video but your AI operation is not very sophisticated or up to the level to show videos accurately and more immediately, its hard to see why with the technology we have now days. Also had to do a reset with its poorly lit color sequences. These are also the more expensive brand of digital feeders so will not get more positive recommendations from me.

I like it but it is a bit confusing

I just had my first visitor. A very common bird in my area, a Carolina Chickadee. The postcard I received said “unrecognized”. And I can’t figure out how to add the type of bird to the postcard. I am waiting for an email to see what is happening. In general, I find the app to be quite confusing.

You can edit postcards in Edit Mode to correct species, add new ones, or delete photos. There you can edit species, delete photos, save changes, or go back without saving. Fantastic Customer Service

I mentioned that my door had broken in a post on the Birdbuddy Facebook page. I was given the information to contact customer service. A week later, I had a new door for my feeder. Awesome customer service from their team!

I’m very frustrated because BB is…

I’m very frustrated because BB is choosing what birds are interesting and ignoring some birds. I have watched Blue Jays and my favorite bird, the Rose Breasted Grosbeak come to the feeder and yet the BB chose not to film them! It should film all birds, only I should be able to decide who to ignore! I expect better when I’m paying a subscription! I should’ve checked around for other feeders! There are some with no subscription that have better reviews! I’m so mad, I’d like my money back!
