Ik heb veel research gedaan waar ik dit het beste kon doen na lang zoeken kwam ik uit bij Motivesupplies bijna 3 uur verder op voor mij maar dat was het zeker waard ben zeer goed geholpen door deze vriendelijke man die mijn carplay scherm heeft in gebouwd en mijn digital cockpit alles werkt perfect bedankt Motivesupplies!!

The the service was great and I really got a lot of help when I needed it. I realized that I had bought the wrong item and contacted them. They were quick to respond and said that of course I could get the right one if I would just send mine back. There were no damage to the product so they quickly send the right item. I installed it yesterday and it works fantastic.

Aanvulling op mijn eerdere review van 30.01.2023 en update van 09.03.2023. Dit naar aanleiding van de reactie vanuit Motive Supplies op mijn minder positieve review.

Het is erg jammer dat je op Trustpilot geen screenshots kan uploaden, want dan had ik de leugens van MotiveSupplies (ene Jarno Koning) heel makkelijk kunnen aantonen.

Kort overzicht van de laatste mails van dit jaar:
16.2: klacht over werking van het product
17.02: antwoord van MotiveSupplies niets aan kunnen doen
20.2: aangegeven enigszins misleidend, want kan geen verkeersborden herkennen zoals wordt/werd geïmpliceerd. Nooit antwoord op gehad op die mail. Vandaar dat ik een aangepaste/slechte(re) review geplaatst. Maar daar kan men bij Motive Supplies blijkbaar niet tegen……

Meneer heeft blijkbaar hele erge aversie tegen negatieve reviews, en begint dan vrij snel met het schrijven van onwaarheden (=liegen!). Ik heb, zoals gezegd, wel degelijk contact met meneer opgenomen m.b.t. het probleem.
Na het laatste contact van mijn kant op 20.02.2023 bleef het echter stil. Totdat ik mijn slechte(re) review op trustpilot had geplaatst. Daarop kwam van dhr. Koning ineens de vraag of ik die review had geplaatst.
Na mijn bevestiging dat ik die review had geplaatst kwam een korte mail van 'admin':

'De review staat al langer online op de site hoor.
Cusrev controleert of deze bij een echte klant hoort. Wij kunnen daar niks mee.
Je had hem snel in huis toch? Werkt toch prima?
Snap het probleem niet.
Succes er mee'

Dat is blijkbaar de manier waarop Motive Supplies aangeeft dat ze bereid zijn het probleem op te lossen, waarvan ze eerder eigenlijk al hadden aangegeven het niet te kunnen oplossen.....

Gezien het feit hoe meneer hieronder reageert, heb ik deze 1 ster beoordeling geschreven, want dit soort doorverkopers van AliExpress troep kan je missen als kiespijn. Lekker makkelijk en snel geld willen verdienen, maar service ho maar.

Motivesupplies 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The Product: I bought a 10.25” screen, Qualcomm 8 core, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, for reference. First, the screen is good product but not amazing. The screen has a lot of glare and doesn’t have the anti-glare protection that the website description says.

The screen doesn’t come with any how-to instructions. There are plenty of YouTube videos available for similar units, which should help you configure the screen properly.

Communication: Sometimes the DMs were very responsive, usually within a few hours. Often the DMs would take one business day from the U.S. with some follow ups for non-responsiveness.

The greatest concern for me was how the Android screen was described on the Motivesupplies website. As of March 21, 2023, there were statements on the Motivesupplies website that were misleading:

1) “Fully integrated with the car”. The new interface does not integrate with a heads-up display (“HUD”) if you have one. The HUD will work normally when you switch back to the OEM system and switch off the AUX port. In defense of Motivesupplies, I asked about the HUD integration, and I accepted the way it would work. The “fully integrated” statement can be misleading for some that may not have asked about their HUD.

2) “We put together our own systems. Our system is therefore 100% different from that of our competition”. This statement is simply not true. Motivesupplies does not manufacture their own equipment. Motivesupplies is a small shop in the Netherlands, also referenced in their Terms of Use on their website. Motivesupplies mainly do installs in a single garage. There is physically not enough size or scale to manufacture the component parts for the inventory they sell on their website.

The industry has only a few screen manufacturers and the units are largely the same. Motivesupplies uses a Chinese screen manufacturer who slightly modifies some of the code to make it look like the screens come from Motivesupplies. The interface is identical to some of the higher end screens you can buy on Aliexpress (Nunoo, ex.), also including the same chipset options. Functionally, there is nothing materially different than what you can get on Aliexpress for about 35 – 40% less, confirmed with product demos I received from Aliexpress.

3) “The system starts up with our own logo”. This may be true but that doesn’t mean Motivesupplies built the screen. Motivesupplies likely provided their boot logo to their Chinese supplier for the custom look. The arrangement is similar to a company using a Chinese supplier to rebrand clothing with their logo, then reselling the clothing as their own.

4) “Fast shipping”. “Fast” means different speeds to different people. For me, it took Motivesupplies four days to create the shipping label and another four days for Motivesupplies’ Chinese supplier to send the screen unit to the shipping company, Yunexpress in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It took another 10 days for the unit to arrive at my house, for a total of 17 calendar days from purchase from the “Netherlands” to delivery in the U.S. Motivesupplies website listed my item as “in stock” with a worldwide delivery time between 3 – 8 business days.

Look, it’s easy to criticize someone else. I am writing this review so others can understand what they are really getting. I also understand why Motivesupplies would want to markup Chinese products for resale. They are in the business of making money and Motivesupplies can add this revenue stream to supplement their installation business. Was the screen worth the 35 – 40% markup from what you can get on Aliexpress? In my opinion, not at all. As a consumer, I feel taken advantage of and this is a purchase I have reservations about. I wish I knew all this information before I placed my order. And I also wished that Motivesupplies was honest about their operation, on their website and when I directly asked them. In the end, the product you will get from Motivesupplies will be fine. It is a matter of how much you want to pay for the same thing you can get for a lot less elsewhere. I hope this review helps you decide what’s best for you.

Upgraded from the original to the one from motivesupplies. Installed it myself as a newbie in the car world, but with some help of them at no extra cost, it worked great! Ordering a back camera next.

Je kan niks retour sturen, je bent je geld kwijt.
Zeer slecht bedrijf waar je spullen koopt tegen veel te hoge prijs met slechte kwaliteit.
Zeer slechte communicatie
Het gekochte product koppelt niet goed en ik wilde retour sturen
Dit mocht niet meer ondanks dat het binnen 1 week was en het product niet gebruikt is.
Het bedrijf gebruikt leugens om niet spullen terug te nemen zoals te zien is aan de reacties onder slechte reviews

Een Android en Carplay scherm gekocht voor mijn BMW F20. Erg tevreden met de werking van het scherm.

Heb het scherm 6 maanden zonder problemen in gebruik nu en werkt erg fijn, zijn geld waard!
1x starte bepaalde apps niet op via carplay, dit heb ik toen aangegeven bij de firma en deze hebben uitstekend advies gegeven. Uiteindelijk lag het aan mijn Iphone 13 Pro Max welke gereboot moest worden waarna alles weer perfect werkte.

Zeker een aanrader deze firma!

Heb onlangs een navigatie scherm met Android auto aangeschaft voor mijn BMW f30.

Zelf geïnstalleerd met behulp van de handleiding, goed te doen, erg duidelijk. Ik had nog wat onduidelijkheden, maar via WhatsApp is hier snel en duidelijk op gereageerd.

Uiteindelijk ben ik nog even langs geweest in Appelscha op de nieuwe locatie, hier door Jarno prettig ontvangen en snel geholpen.

Al met al een hele positieve ervaring en ik raad dit bedrijf zeker aan.

Voor mijn A klasse (type w176) hier een Android scherm gekocht. Na slechte ervaring elders erg verrast door motivesupplies. Werkt uitstekend en de ondersteuning was perfect. Ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen. Levertijd was ietsje langer omdat er geen voorraad was, maar dat is het enige minpunt. Fijne communicatie.

Ik heb middels een usb stick en de software van motivesupplies Apple CarPlay vrijgeschakeld in mijn BMW.

Snel en deskundig advies. Het was super simpel via usb en binnen 15 minuten klaar. En ik hoefde er niet eens mijn deur voor uit!

Dus zeker gezien de lagere kosten in vergelijking met de dealer (scheelt zo’n 200 euro) en het enorme gemak waarmee alles besteld en geïnstalleerd is, kan ik motivesupplies aan iedereen aanraden en zou hier zeker opnieuw iets bestellen.

Nogmaals bedankt!

Een digitale cluster besteld voor mijn BMW.
Bestelling duurde iets langer dan verwacht, maar ik werd netjes op de hoogte gehouden.
Duidelijke handleidingen per mail ontvangen.
Daarna via de app goed support gekregen op al mijn vragen.
Motivesupplies verstaat haar vak. Echt een aanrader!

MotiveSupplies were helpful, attentive and responsive with the tech support.

The product is incredible and a great upgrade on my BMW X5.

MMI box is terrible.

Airplay doesnt work
Car play disconnects a lot
Reversing Camera didnt work.
Oh and they deny refunds for faulty products because install it and finding out its faulty and just a bad product is classed as using it.

I also when trying to fix the issues with the company got adviced to buy some more wires only for them not to work as well

Zeer goed geholpen. Kwam er zelf niet helemaal uit, maar na een bericht kwam al snel de hulp via app contact.
Zeer vakkundig en behulpzaam. Mooi systeem, vergt wat uitzoeken hoe het werkt.

Tijdens mijn vooronderzoek om te onderzoeken welk product beste bij onze wensen zou passen, ben ik goed geholpen door Jarno. Het betreft een Carplay upgrade voor mijn 2013 BMW F31(3-serie touring) met een NBT iDrive systeem. Het zou gaan om een MMI Multi Media Interface of een 10-inch Carplay scherm ter vervanging van het OEM 6,5-inch scherm. Op basis van de gesprekken gekozen voor het MMI systeem. Ik gebruik het systeem nu een ruime week en werkt verbluffend. Een metamorfose van een gedateerd systeem naar een systeem identiek aan onze nieuwe VW uit 2022. Snelle levering en goede support vanuit Motive Supplies. 100% tevreden!

I bought for my BMW F20 2019 a Android 10 8.8” touch screen with rear camera and dash cam. The installation was quite straightforward by following the installations instructions and with the trim removal kit.

I had some problems with the audio, the EVO system requires a bit more hands on. But after reading the instructions more in detail and off course with excellent help from Jarno everything went on very easy. Now I a super happy with touch and bigger screen, Apple CarPlay, many smart apps, dash cam and rear camera.

Can recommend this upgrade to everyone!

CarPlay MMI en achteruitrijcamera besteld en zelf gemonteerd. Na montage bleek de microfoon niet te werken, maar met dank aan de goede service en duidelijke uitleg van Jarno deze toch ook werkend gekregen. Het bleek namelijk mijn eigen fout te zijn… de montage is eenvoudig, zolang je de meegeleverde handleiding maar gewoon goed volgt ;-) al met al prima service, goed werkende producten en zeer tevreden! Aanrader!

Had a mixup with shipping so took quite a long time to get to me but I was given android auto as compensation apart from that the screen is very good, looks oem and performs really well.
