Chris at the Tamworth office has been great and guided us through the whole process of buying our new house. Would highly recommend Morris homes.

We went to Princess Meadows and spoke with Lizette. It was an initial enquiry as we are at the beginning of our home move adventure and just wanted to look around to get a feel for the houses/estate, but Lizette was lovely from the off. She was warm and friendly and very informative - we’ve been to other sites previously and either been fobbed off or bored to tears, but Lizette was warm and engaging, and a credit to Morris Homes!

When we first visited Shelbourne Estates at Hunsbury Grange, Pauline made us feel at ease and at home already. The second time when we had loads of questions about a specific home, we met Lynne and was also lovely, was patient throughout the process, was thorough in explaining things and gave us the motherly vibe which we really appreciated as a young couple whose weighing a lot of options!

The lady site representative at The Meadows site in Macclesfield was very welcoming. She gave us a helpful summary of their properties and features. We were also able to view one of the show houses where she explained the main features and we were able to see the quality of the building and its fittings. She also explained how various options were available to buy a property such as Part Exchange and Smart Move.

When visiting your Macclesfield site earlier today. We were pleasantly surprised. The sales negotiator Wendie, was lovely well presented friendly and knowledgeable. The showhome was beautifully presented.

Jack was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We had quite a lot of questions which he took the time to answer properly. A really positive experience, and lovely homes!!

We visited The Grange, Formby this morning. Great customer service. Our sales guide listened to our requirements and showed us three potential properties, one of which we love! Friendly, professional, relaxed.

Visited St Mary’s Park today with my husband and met with Vic. We really enjoyed our visit, we found Vic was really friendly and easy to talk to. Nothing was too much for her and she explained everything well to us. She had great knowledge of the plot and properties she had available to sell. She ensured we had all the information and gave us literature to take away and refer back too. We would have full confidence in purchasing a property from her. I value someone who is upfront and honest, which Vic absolutely was. Highly recommend.

Terrible aftercare service, the customer care team do not care about residents at all, and gaslight them when issues are reported. We have had issues with drainage and various residents have called - but they made it appear that each call was a brand new issue and had never been brought to their attention. We had to get the environmental health involved twice before they did anything ! We had raw sewage flowing down the roads

Called into Macclesfield sales office, and Wendie was very helpful really nice lady couldn't have asked More on advice she certainly is a good ambassador for Morris homes, looking forward to looking at the show House 👍👍👍👍👍

The Sales Advisor, Ann Parish was very knowledgeable & helpful and the property was very spacious & well designed throughout.

I purchased a 4-bedroom detached property at the Wintringham development in St Neots in July 2025. The total property value, including upgrades, was £550,000, with a 4% deposit contribution from the builder. While other developers on the same site were offering more incentives—such as free upgrades and a 5% contribution—I chose this plot because of its location.
Unfortunately, the build quality and overall experience have been disappointing. The key issues encountered were:

- A water leak from the ensuite, which penetrated through the ceiling into the kitchen.
- Extremely poor water pressure due to flawed plumbing design, making it impossible to use multiple toilets simultaneously.
- The absence of a hot water tank, which is unsuitable for a house of this size.
- A noticeable discrepancy in brick quality: the front-facing properties use higher-quality bricks, while the rear-facing ones (including mine) have visibly poor bricks with multiple fire cracks.
- A lack of accountability and professionalism from the site team during the construction phase.
- Even with an upgraded kitchen, the brand-new NEFF washer-dryer was faulty from day one and performs very poorly—easily one of the worst dryers I’ve used.
- Poor finishing throughout the house, including outdated full-pedestal washbasins that do not align with a modern, upgraded home.

While some of these issues were addressed after we moved in, many resolutions were made with compromises rather than proper fixes. Major concerns remain unresolved—most notably the poor water flow in the upstairs toilet and persistent noise from the heating system beneath Bedroom 2 whenever it starts.
Overall, the experience has fallen well below expectations for a premium-priced new-build property.

We had a very pleasant and informative visit to The Meadow. Wendie was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional.
