I was listened to right from the quotation through to the ordering and everything I asked for was accommodated for even when I changed my mind in the colour a couple of days later. The installation was flawless and the whole process from ordering through to installation was on the mark. No long lead times, and super quick and no stress whatsoever. I highly recommend the Modern Group and I LOVE my roller shutters!

This is the second time we've asked Modern to install roller shutters (previous house and new house). The process was streamlined and well oiled. Staff are friendly and helpful and we were given clear timelines. The level of communication was excellent and the product is of sound quality.

Happy with the product and the service

The sales rep, Chrys, was great. He arrived on time, and worked hard to get the price down to something we could justify. A small hiccup in the manufacturing process slowed down the installation time but this was all communicated by Mary who was sincerely apologetic for the delay. When the install team arrived, they did so on time, efficiently and communicated how the day would work. I appreciate the work Modern have done for us, and when we can in the future, be adding to our home for additional shutters.

They were really helpful in coming out to us in a time that worked for our whole family.
We wanted to be able to block out the light for our babies room for daytime naps and reduce the heat upstairs in summer.
They were about to offer a great price and brought examples of what the roller shutters looked like in the inside and explained how that helped with light and climate control.
The final measure and installation was fast and the whole process from quote to installation took about 1 week. Great experience overall.

I’ve had 10 roller shutters installed by Modern Group in three stages. I’m very happy with the quality and what the shutters achieve. As we wanted to block out all light from our bedrooms, but I didn’t want blinds on the inside of the windows. And they help thermally, and with sound and security as well.
One high window had to be hard wired so it could have a remote control, and the electrician did a lazy messy job surface mounting the cable in conduit rather than going internally through the eave. So that’s the only part I’m not 100% happy with, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

From the salesman being over bearing promising what he didnt deliver and over pushy to the installation and roller blind not fitting 3 times to our plantation shutter not suiting the window so was dropped wouldn't open couldn't clean behind them
Came out botched it up promising to come back .. nothing many emails many photos ... nothing
Our roller blind is baggy and over 12 months of complaining they rang and booked it in but very un friendly and un apologetic
Still waiting 20 months later for the plantation shutter to be fixed
We're more expensive and terrible customer service would never recommend to anyone

What a great company to deal with. Right from the first phone call to prompt installation. We have had seven shutters installed now and every time it is just so easy. The first time was 5 years ago and the shutters are still perfect. Thoroughly recommend this company. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had some outside blinds installed two weeks ago. They look great. I have used the Modern Group a couple of times and they are always helpful in the past and present. I highly recommend Modern for blinds

Process very easy from our first interaction. Pricing was good and shutters have improved our home security
