I was hesitant to brush my teeth with horse hair and some of my friends made fun of me. But I love the toothbrush! Soft enough and gives a really good clean. It feels so good cutting out more and more plastics out of my home and body. I’ve passed them on to my friends and family to try too.

My family and I absolutely love using the toxin dodger toothbrushes. My 2 young ones use the children’s brushes and they have been fantastic, they both have their own colour and use them enthusiastically. My husband who can be very picky- has had no complaints at all! (Which is a first😅😂). I love how the bristles feel and preform- knowing there is no microplastics being released has taken a lot of anxiety off my shoulders in this new found world of microplastics. Knowing they’re compostable as well is fantastic! Overall just an awesome product and I look forward to continuing to use them.

I chose Toxin Dodger to support an Australian business and try a plastic-free toothbrush alternative. When purchasing, I selected the “Subscribe & Save” option, which advertised “no commitments, cancel anytime.”

When I tried to cancel the subscription, it was difficult to find where to do so. Navigating to my order, I then saw a banner stating “minimum of 2 payments required in order to cancel subscription,” which was not clearly disclosed on the product page or at checkout.

After raising this with support, they cancelled both the subscription and the full original order without confirming first.

This experience felt misleading and sloppy. The subscription terms and cancellation process should be much clearer.

The company responded stating I selected a subscription (which is correct), however my concern was that the “no commitments, cancel anytime” messaging did not align with a minimum payment requirement, which was not clearly disclosed upfront.

While they cancelled the subscription quickly, this key point wasn’t addressed.

Been slowly pulling plastic out of everything between cookware, water, storage containers, the lot. The toothbrush was the one sitting right under my nose that I kept ignoring.

Grabbed the Toxin Dodger boar bristle brush and my electric toothbrush went straight in the bin. Natural bristles, proper handle, nothing synthetic going into my gums every morning. The firmness is the thing that surprised me most I really rate the firm bristles that actually clean, my teethh feel polished after, not just just rinsed with plastic.

I love these brushes, the clean the teeth really well and I’m happy to be not using a plastic brush in my mouth, also environmentally being part of the solution to reduce plastic! Thank you

Being good for the planet being the main thing of course , but using these tooth brushes is a positive surprise too !
The bristles are soft , but not too soft , which is what I need !
The horses are not harmed in any way !!
The bristles are from normal grooming !
The brush is designed to stand on its end !

I have been waiting a long time for an Australian company to bring these sustainable products to the market place ….

Having in a box of 4 is such a good idea too as I was able to give to my sons , who by the way , have let me know how much they like them and prefer to any others they have used …

I have bought both brushes and have shared them with friends and family, we are all really impressed with the quality and effectiveness of them. Have recently purchased the silk floss and children’s ones to try. I also really liked not being hassled about reviewing them after 5 minutes like other companies do. I’m never going back to plastic. I didn’t have any trouble with loose bristles and I alternate between the boar and horse. I would highly recommend them.

I reached out to Toxin Dodger and have loved the experience! Their customer service has been amazing. They were swift in responding and answering my questions with honesty and integrity. I received both the Horse and Boar hair brushes and love the quality! Be mindful that naturally, due to pressure anchoring, (the process used to secure the bristles to the brush) the bristles might come loose within the first couple of brushes, but other than that, I love knowing that I’m not eating microplastics! Will be recommending to others ☺️

I’ve been using Toxin Dodger toothbrushes for a few months now and I’m obsessed. They are super high quality, and it feels so good knowing my mouth isn't full of plastic first thing in the morning. I’ve got the whole family using them now and have been recommending them to friends. I highly recommend for anyone on the journey of ditching plastic or looking for high quality toothbrushes!

I bought the brushes for the whole family. Soft for the kids and harder for my husband and I. We couldn’t be happier. The brush is firmer than I’m used to but the natural bristles are still so gentle on the gums. My teeth feel the cleanest they have ever been. This will be our go to toothbrushes from now on.

Our young family is really liking our collection of Toxin Dodger toothbrushes and floss. I'm preferring the boar brush myself - after warming it is super soft and easy on my gums and teeth. The kids are doing well with theirs, very easy to hold for my two year old and they both love knowing which colour is theirs. I love knowing we are all safe and cleaning our teeth with a clean product!

Firstly, their Customer service is outstanding. For my first order, Aus post lost my order and Toxin Dodger was extremely quick to sort a solution. Absolutely impeccable service and I cannot thank toxin dodger enough for looking out for their customers as much as they do ❤️

I preferably use the Boar hair bristled brush as it gets the job done faster. Most of the time I use hot water to soften them up and they become the perfect balance of gentle and firm. I was incredibly amazed by how long my first tooth brush lasted. After 7+ weeks in the extreme tropics of FNQ, it started to get a little mold at the base of the handle due to leaving the brush in a moist environment. As the brush is entirely natural, signs of mold is to be expected. In all honestly, it proves the brush really is toxic-free.✅
I suggest storing the tooth brush in a place where it can air dry and preferable a dry place (outside of a bathroom cupboard).

I will never ever go back to Nylon plastic toothbrushes! 🤮

I also tried their dental floss and am quite happy with the product! As it’s a fully natural silk material, fraying is to be expected. I use the floss conservatively and have peace of mind that I am not getting any microplastics or TEFLON in my body!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my new favourite small Aussie business toxin dodger on what this company is trying to do for not only the environment but for every single Aussie . I just received my boar toothbrushes and I’m so impressed and so happy. I’ve had a lot of health issues lately and I’ve completely decided to try and change my life and go micro-plastic free in every way I can. I did a lot of research into micro plastics and ways I can try and limit plastics in my life and when I looked into toothbrushes i knew I wanted to get boar bristles . I started researching and stumbled across this company online and I’m so glad I did. I love the toothbrushes. I just wanted to say thank you so much to toxin dodger. These brushes are so fantastic to use . They feel lovely on my teeth . I thought they might take some getting use to but they didn’t and the size is perfect . If your ready to stop using plastic material in your mouth support a Aussie company . Keep up the good work, you’ve got a loyal customer here . I’ll continue purchasing. Thanks again.

So glad that I finally found a non toxic toothbrush! I just got another 2 sets today.

It's always bothered me brushing my teeth with plastic and I knew it was bad for my health.
These toothbrushes are great and the company has been awesome to work with.

I’m very impressed with how clean my teeth feel, as I was using electric toothbrush.
Manual plastic brush wasn’t working the best for me. I think considering the cost of regular replacement for electric has gone up alot, along with everything else. I think Toxin Dodger is great value for money. Also Love supporting an Aussie small business. Well done guys. Life long customer here

Absolutely love my horse hair toothbrush and floss! Everything from the packaging to the product itself is eco friendly, sustainable and low tox! Not a single bit of plastic and as someone who cares about her health and the planets this is so great to see! The toothbrush is soft but still gets all the places you need around the teeth and very back without being painful at all. So happy!

Bought 2 x 4 pack of the medium bristle brushes. Did not soak in hot water as I like the firm bristles. Thank god I didn’t. After 2 brushes it had become so soft and pathetic… also says on the packet one brush only last 6 - 8 weeks. Not that sustainable needing to use 6 or 7 of these brushes every year:/ not overly impressed but always leek to support plastic free products. These just need some work

I don't know why we waited so long, but we are so happy and grateful that we decided to try these brushes.
Now, we cannot imagine using the plastic ones.
They're really well-made and a game-changer.
It is really the best gift you can give yourself.
