After borrowing a MedicAir Pro unit and trialling it with my son who has more than one allergy (pollen and dust mite), we noticed a significant improvement in his breathing.

I have since bought the Pro-Mini unit, and his breathing is remaining improved, such that he is now not needing his steroid spray, (unless he is away from home). Some of the pollen in the environment has been changing, of course in this time- frame, but I believe the filter is still helping.

Think the product delivers. It reacts to me cooking. My only issue is that I’m not sure I actually needed it, apart from claims that it purifies the air. How do I measure that? The worst is they don’t accept returns or refunds and you can only buy a filter from them. Started this review at 3 stars, but as I kept writing I realised I regret buying it as it has the potential to be a couple hundred pounds thrown away.

Edit after their response: there is no transparency. I was never told that refunds do not apply. I would’ve thought twice before buying if I knew that. Now I have a very expensive fan for all I know!

After looking at the vast range of air purifiers on the market, I chose Medic Air as this is their field of expertise and they have great build quality.
I bought this purifier to improve air quality in my home, which it has done so.
Steve from Medic Air was very helpful in answering my questions and said to contact him in the future if anything happens.

We purchased one of these to help with my wife’s allergies
We placed it in the Lounge, and within a couple of days, the air quality was considerably better, and her breathing much easier.
Due to this, we purchased a second unit, and placed it in the bedroom.
Highly recommend it for anybody who suffers from allergies 👍

Customer service was brilliant. I dealt with Steve who was as helpful as you possibly ask for and goes the extra mile to answer all your questions.

From start to finish the help and assistance I was given was excellent. I was replacing a previous machine that was well past its sell-by date and well behind the technology curve. I had all my questions and objections answered, so the decision was made simple. I have had the product for over a month now and it works perfectly.

Very good well designed product at very reasonable price. I find that the app is a bit complicated and prefer to simply switch device on and run for 8 hours at a time, but I am pleased with my air purifier. Most importantly for me is the supportive customer service to purchase and replace filters at a affordable price.

Noisy in a home environment. Compare one against a Dyson and you'll buy the Dyson.
The one plus point was a 'No Fuss' return and refund system.

Bought for my wife who suffers from COPD and asthma. She uses it in the bedroom and the results have been tremendous. Her breathing has improved and the coughing has substantially reduced.
We got some great advice over the phone from Steve who told us the best settings to use.
Although it's not the cheapest on the market it definitely works and would have no hesitation in recommending this device.

Brilliant Product
I purchased the MedicAir Pro, as I suffer terribly with allergies, from animals, hay fever, dust mite, mould (I do not have mould in my house, but when the weather changes & it rains, it causes issues with my breathing). It seems anything that gives off a scent, I have breathing problems. I struggle to breath, I'm always coughing and my chest tightens and everyone can hear me wheezing. I have to keep taking antihistamine tablets which is only on prescription to work. Using an inhaler is not an option, I would rather try and control things more myself.
Since buying the MedicAir Pro, my life has changed, no more wheezing, no more constant coughing & I can sleep so much better.
This product has definitely changed my life. I keep it on 'auto' and it does what it needs to do when needed. When I know there is friends coming round who tend to wear perfume that is a trigger, I get it to go up a level and this controls the air until they leave. Perfect!
It has taken me a while to write a review, as wanted to ensure it is not all in my 'head', that it is the product that is helping.
As for their customer service, cannot fault it. Always on hand and always call you back, this is so helpful.
Brilliant product, that I purchased another MedicAir Mini and keep in my bedroom on auto, yes it is expensive, but for our health, definitely worth every penny!

Fantastic product.

I was very impressed with the personal and professional service I received from Medicair. I emailed them to explain that my power supply had broken and that due to myself having cancer and my husband recovering from a stroke we needed the air a new power supply as soon as possible. I had checked online but could not find the correct one. I was contacted by a very helpful Steve Dannatt from Medicair who made sure we received a new power supply as soon as possible, in fact we received it the next day. We are now up and running again and very grateful for Steve's help.

I was in hospital for 9 days with a hip infection. I usually get bad hayfever which exacerbates my asthma, but it stopped after being in hospital for two days. I wondered if it was the super clean hospital, or if it could be the box next to my bed. Having nothing but 4 walls to stare at, I googled the brand and found the model number on the back.

Less than 12 hours out of hospital my hay fever symptoms returned, so I bought one from their website. Much more expensive than the ones you can buy from Argos which I have tried in the past, but now are relegated to the spare room.

This is completely different, so much so that I've bought one for downstairs for the dogs. When I mentioned this to the nice sales person who literally called me and walked me through setting it up over the phone! Who does that these days? How lovely.
They did ask if I could pop my experience on here, it's taken me more than a year to do but the return to sunny days reminded me how grateful I am that that a company that usually deals with hospitals spent the time to get me something I can reply on.

Fantastic customer service great air purifier really does clear the air the only criticism I have for it is replacing the filters is very difficult I don’t if it’s just me or if others are finding this a problem too.

MiniPro is well designed, setup is straight forward and runs very quietly on low fan settings. Ringing Medicair for advice before purchase wes really helpful, and the UK base provided clear answers. Medicair rang up post purchace to check if everthing was working well. Great to see a British designed product performing well.

I am very pleased with both the air purifier and the exceptional customer service offered by the MedicAir employees.
I can't say enough about how much this air purifier has helped our family's well-being, particularly my child, who has allergies and breathing problems. His breathing has significantly improved, and we have been able to reduce our use of steroid spray! It has also been demonstrated to be the only treatment that has effectively reduced my chronic sinusitis symptoms, resulting in a considerable increase in my ability to breathe more comfortably and sleep better. I was on the verge of rehoming my beloved dog, but MedicAir has enabled us to coexist together.
I've bought several air purifiers before, but MedicAir is by far the most effective. It is lightweight, elegant, and silent, and it has transformed the scent of my home into something reminiscent of a mountain retreat!
Furthermore, the outstanding customer service I received from MedicAir employees added to my positive experience. When I experienced an issue with my purifier, I contacted MedicAir customer support and was pleasantly delighted by their quick response. The company offers a two-year warranty, but what sets them apart is their approach to customer service. Their support goes beyond the scope of a normal warranty. They work on a case-by-case basis, personalising their support to their client's individual needs rather than merely checking boxes.
All of the customer service representatives were fantastic, and I'd like to especially thank Steve for his friendly and welcoming support. He made sure the process ran smoothly for me and went above and beyond to resolve the issue.

In the Autumn, for health reasons, I decided to buy an air filter.
After many hours of research I contacted Medicair for further information and spoke to Steve, who was friendly and extremely helpful.
He answered my numerous questions with patience, good humour and expert knowledge of MedicAir's products.
His advice was invaluable. I purchased two Mini Pro systems rather than one larger unit. This has given me more options as the Mini Pro's, whilst still substantial, are easier to move and I am able to take one into the kitchen when cooking and, also, upstairs into the bedroom.
The online ordering system was fuss-free. Delivery was swift and items well packaged.
Unpacking the box took longer than setting up the machine which worked instantly.
I did not install the app, from personal preference, but the controls are simple and easy to use. I use the intelligent setting and leave them to it.
The units are so quiet and blend into the room.
On changing the filter I was astounded at what had been collected and would have been breathing in.
No wonder my breathing feels easier and I am sleeping better.
Customer Service is exceptional. Steve has been great and is a credit to MedicAir. It's wonderful to be able to speak to someone immediately.
If only all customer service was like this!

We are delighted with our Medicair Air Purifier which we have now had for a couple of months. We keep it in our bedroom where it runs so quietly it does it disturb our sleep and it is very reassuring to know we are sleeping in such a healthy atmosphere. Customer Service on the phone has been great, can definitely recommend the company and the product .
