Really friendly team there. Both the 'Reception' and both my female massage therapists were really good. I chose a 80 minute one for the third session as I felt my 50 minute one where I seemed to have the favour of extra time because maybe I was senior or it was as I was using it as therapy too. I felt as if I had a gym workout which was really starting to rid
me of serious tension in my neck & shoulder. I felt that Anishka found what seem to be a knot this time which I thought was very intuitive of her. She use hot stones this time again and although it was at members reasonable rates, I will with regret be cancelling membership as I'm moving home.
I now fully recovered through 'The Massage Co" and during the treatment I actually succeeded in finding my new flat. I am please I had the intuition to join at a difficult time for me, which also helped me move in in my life. So I wish the team led by Gary, all the very best success. :)Howard

Camberley branch - all staff are fantastic- friendly, helpful and my massage therapist, Olivia, is just wonderful- for me personally, a massage isn't solely about muscle and fascia manipulation, it's how a therapist interacts with me on the table - it's a real skill to be able to do this without words - using intuition, sensitivity to how the body responds to your touch/pressure, balancing working painful, tight knots with still giving relaxation, and the start and finish and flow of a massage all matters to me and my massage experience. Olivia nails it all every time - fantastic therapist!

I absolutely love The Massage Company (Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield branch). From the minute you arrive, you feel welcome. The professional and friendly reception team greet you by your name and make you feel so welcome. I am always offered water whilst I wait for my therapist. I have Eva who is amazing, a true professional with so much knowledge and understanding. I would highly recommend this company.

I have just had the most incredible massage at the Camberley branch. As members we frequently use this premise, and have always found the staff to be both friendly, and informative. Alexandra was a magician! She asked throughout the massage to check for pressure and comfort. She was able to describe to me what my issues were, and I found that so reassuring. I have left feeling like a different person & have already booked to return. Thank you!!

Yesterday I had a massage from Aga in Putney, probably the best massage of my life. I prefer firm, deep-tissue massages, and she was absolutely perfect. She applied just the right amount of pressure in all the right places; my back cracked several times, and today I was able to play sport at a very high level. I felt loose, mobile, and dynamic.
I can’t recommend Aga highly enough, she was superb.

Went for the fifty minute introduction massage through a voucher I had been gifted. Chose the deep tissue massage. Venue is clean and friendly (smells wonderful!). Pleasant staff, asked questions to make sure I got the right sort of massage. Not much upselling attempt which was refreshing. I felt a definite improvement after just fifty minutes. Will be back.

Went to the Camberley branch for the first time. Had specific pain/knots in one shoulder. Was just asked to fill in standard form but never asked what/if I had a problem, just the area of massage. The massage was ok but the therapist never found the knots and I had to ask and direct to the area. Worked on it a bit but pain still here. Compared to other deep tissue massage, this was very mediocre. Price standard for upsell quite strong and membership expensive. Unfortunately it does feel like it is a 'chain'.

I had a very disappointing experience with The Massage Company. When I booked my first session, it wasn’t clearly explained that I was signing up for an ongoing monthly payment of £69. The money is taken automatically on the 1st of each month, which meant that because my first massage was at the end of the month, I ended up paying twice in quick succession.

When I cancelled by email after exactly one month, I was told there would still be a cancellation fee. They also kept the £69 from my booked appointment and applied it against this fee, which felt very unfair. If I get the time, I will dispute this charge as I believe it was not in line with the contract policy.

On top of that, during my massage I felt uncomfortable with the therapist’s behaviour. At one point they moved my underwear slightly and made a comment about my body that I found very inappropriate. This made me feel intimidated and harassed.

Overall, I found the membership terms confusing, the cancellation process frustrating, and the massage itself unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I had a deep tissue massage with Sana and she is amazing- highly recommend her!

The massage itself was 10/10, but the hard sell after completely ruins the experience. You come go from feeling totally relaxed to totally annoyed and perplexed. This has happened on two separate occasions, I will not be returning for a third.

I went for a massage, they warmed up my body under a blanket, but as soon as they used the massage oil I was jolted back because it was extremely cold. During the session, the therapist kept sniffing the whole time. Even though I mentioned that the oil was cold, they continued, so it was impossible to relax. What’s worse, the receptionist makes you fill out a long form without giving proper information, and in the end, if you don’t fully understand it, you end up receiving a massage different from the one you expected. In short, massage is something best left to the Taiwanese

Odd experience. I booked a massage very last minute after waking up with a stiff neck. After googling, the massage company came up and there was an introductory offer which I took advantage of. On arriving to the location is was very disappointed with the appearance of the shop. A very stark reception/waiting area which opened right onto the busy high street was less than relaxing, there was also a number of very cheap looking sofas and very little else, providing a less than relaxing environment to wait for your treatment. The member of staff that greeted me was chatty and friendly and I cannot fault him in the slightest. As people were leaving the shop I noticed a member of staff doing quite a hard sell for membership which instantly put me off and left me feeling apprehensive for the end of my treatment.
The treatment room had the same uninviting feeling as the waiting area. Horrible carpet, a very bare room, I felt like we were borrowing someone’s office for the treatment. On the upside the bed was very long (I am tall) and comfortable. The massage therapist was friendly but the massage itself was very average. I informed them that I had a stiff neck but I didn’t feel anything was done in particular to focus on this area and have left with it feeling no better.
On leaving the staff member that originally greeted me thankfully opted not for a hard sell and understood that if I was to visit again it would be on a very ad hoc basis.
All in all I wouldn’t recommend. I have had way better massages in way more relaxing environments. I’m pleased I only paid £39.95.

Having previously complained about (and reviewed) "The Massage Company's" marketing, I received a call from them shortly afterwards and a follow up email.
They apologised about the misleading advertising and offered me a "free" massage in compensation.

I received the massage yesterday (thank you "Anna"). The whole experience was professional and my (sports) massage was outstanding. I was incredibly stiff prior to the massage, afterwards everything felt much looser and I was able to race in a 5km event yesterday evening and felt great.

I'll be back!

Had two really good massages but then was given a new masseur. Asked for a light Swedish, this guy almost broke me in two. Had back spasms and needed ibuprofen gel for 3 nights to alleviate the pain. Asked for a refund - and my main gripe was they charged me £7.50 for calming oil - in fairness they offered a free massage but wouldn’t go back again unless I knew more about the masseur. Thought the after massage service and response was very poor.

Dropped into this lovely place late yesterday and the staff were super welcoming. The centre is so much bigger and better than I expected. I so needed a massage after a week of little sleep and high stress. Thank you Watford team!
