Package box had at least 12 inch hole delivery guys would not lift over my back gate I have since gone to at least 7 big sofa companies and all said the delivery guys who work for them all lift sofas above head is need to get access also one company said they removed window pane on first floor to bring sofa into property

As explained in our previous correspondence, our 3rd party carrier is unable to lift items above head height due to its handling and safety limitations.
Other companies may offer different delivery services, but their practices do not reflect the capabilities of our carrier. Furthermore, removing window panes was never included in the agreed delivery terms and cannot be assumed as part of the service.
We understand your disappointment; however, the delivery arrangements must be assessed based on the service agreed for your order.
Useless customer service
Having decided to use the small claims court to access my refund as per The Consumer Act 2015, I still had no contact from this company. Tesco has issued the refund on their behalf. Just a warning that if you send any items back to this company they will be trashed by their inspection team and you will not be offered a refund buyer beware.

We strongly dispute the allegation that our inspection team deliberately damages returned items. We would ask: how would damaging a customer’s returned item benefit our company in any way? Our team’s role is to inspect returns fairly and professionally.
The condition of an item upon return, including whether it was adequately packaged for transit, is an important factor in the assessment. It is therefore unfair to attribute damage to our team without establishing the facts.
We understand your frustration, but the claim that returned items will be “trashed” and refunds denied is a serious generalisation that does not fairly represent our business. We stand by our inspection procedures and are happy to review any specific evidence of alleged misconduct.
The sofa was a great price
The sofa was a great price , so comfy and the delivery men were great on time and helped to get the sofa in the front room . We ould recommend them to anyone.

Two seater chesterfield sofa
Looks as good as the picture on the website. Impressed with the quick delivery and being kept up todate with progress of my order. It's very light weight and it's small size make it easy to move around. It is very firm, which I do not mind. Instructions say it will get softer. The price is reasonable and the sofa meets my needs.

Extremely hard and uncomfortable sofa…
Extremely hard and uncomfortable sofa with unbelievable thin padding at d top u can literally feel the wood. Am talking about lovesofa's Livorno sofa which i believe was copied from sofology. The click click mechanism meant to recline the headrests does not work leaving u with Extremely hard and rigid frame. Complained to the company about d thin padding at the top and requesting returns and collection but was met with atrocious and unimaginable demands to provide packaging which the company took away after installation plus stating 360 pounds wld be deducted from each sofa which means i wld loose over 700 pounds for item that is not as described. I have given them two working days to do the needful or face legal action. Think long and hard before buying from this company if you value peace of mind and comfort.

We must clarify that this review does not accurately reflect the correspondence. The photographs and video provided were reviewed, and no manufacturing fault was identified. A return was offered, and the applicable collection charge of £60 per sofa was clearly explained in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. The £360 figure subsequently stated in one email was an error, which we acknowledge and apologise for. It is therefore incorrect to suggest that we were seeking to deduct over £700 from the refund or deliberately obstruct the return. We remain willing to proceed with the return on the terms previously communicated.

Returned a sofa and two chairs..delivery men weren't told about the chairs to be collected so their van was full..l packed the goods correctly with the original bubble wrap bags..then covered and taped items correctly..as the items were squashed into the van l assume the packing became loosened..love sofas refused to refund me the full amount for my return and deducted £295.00 ! They sent me photos of a scuffed sofa and chair..so damage done on van or in warehouse..l doubt I'm not the only one scammed in this way to make them more money..disgusted with this firm..avoid like the plague !

We strongly disagree with the claims made in this review and feel it is important to correct the record.
Your order was for a 3-seater and 1-seater sofa, not two chairs. Following collection, both items were inspected and photographed. The images clearly show areas of upholstery left exposed and insufficiently protected for return transit, including areas that were visibly uncovered at the point of collection.
Our Terms & Conditions clearly state that returned furniture must be securely and sufficiently packaged, and the deductions were applied in accordance with these terms based on the damage found.
The suggestion that we deliberately damaged the furniture in our own warehouse to retain £295 is simply not credible. Deliberately damaging returned stock would serve absolutely no legitimate business purpose and would only create a financial loss for us.
We are sorry that you are unhappy with the outcome, but accusations of scamming are wholly unfounded. The deductions were made based on the condition in which the furniture was returned and the agreed return terms.

If I could give no stars I would avoid buying delivery 3 hours behind about 8am explain that one . Men turned up at 6pm literally through it off the truck I paid for assembly bits missing not assembled properly do not bother with this company you have been warned

Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience with lovesofas, the times I got told were 10-12, then I had an update saying delivery attempted when it wasn't, so I call to find out whats happened, 10:50 I got told my sofas will be with me in an hour... that went and gone so I ring again then I get told 4/5, that time went and office hours closed, I didn't end up getting my sofas until 8pm! I understand things happen but having to wait in all day when you've been told a certain is a but of a pain especially with no where for my children to sit, very disappointed.
