Bad cameras and no technical support
I bought an 8 camera and DVR system from Pricesmart in Kingston Jamaica in 2020. The simple problems were that the 1 TB hard drive never worked and 2 cameras were not functioning straight out of the box. We paid good money and drilled many holes in our house to set it up. The real problem started when we realised that we could not view the cameras remotely on the Lorex Cirrus app remotely. The cameras were absolutely useless because they couldn't do what they were bought to do. Customer service is terrible. Due to my location, their toll free number does not accept calls from my country. Whenever I email technical support, they tell me to call. I was overseas and got through to them only to be told I have to be in Jamaica near the system to be helped. This back and forth has been going on for over 3 years with multiple contacts and never being helped. I would have thrown the system in the trash and bought cameras that worked a longtime ago, but it hurts me to see the modifications done to my home to put up this system only for it to be torn down. Did I say customer service is terrible? Buyer BEWARE.

her friendly and helpful attitude was wonderful.
she was able to help me when i had been struggling with finding a place to reinstall my lorex cloud software.
she walked me through every step to accomplish what i needed.
i am 86 years old and she really did a great job on solving my situation.

when the website said 'Dont wait for Black Friday the price wont get cheaper' I placed an order. Then when on Black Fridday it was cheaper I complained and got a refund for the differance. Only proving 'If you dont ask, you dont get' I suspose

Do NOT buy ANY products from this company, there are lots of complaints regarding privacy and the company was actually blacklisted in the US. We had a hack of a time to get our data deleted from their system. (We were actually reseller of LOREX). Only threats with law suits helped and it took them still weeks(!) to do so. NO THANKS.

Customer service was great to work with and matched the Black Friday price listed a couple days after I had already purchased the product.
I bought a Lorex system from Costco
I bought a Lorex system from Costco. Hard drive failed. Got a replacement, hard drive failed again. I used to build computers. Lorex is using Western Digital hard drives. They were bad & cheap HD's 20 years ago and still are. Doing what they do whiring noise just before they fail.

The agent Carl took care of my problem very quickly and professionally, I can't say enough about the pride he takes in his job of helping people,,in the middle of the mayhem my sell went died and I couldn't get back to him by email and wasn't sure what I could do but about 30 minutes charging my phone and scratching my head the phone rang and low and behold it was Carl asking me was Iwas prepared to finish the reset,,that man didn't have to call back but he did and I think that speaks volumes to what yall have on the other end of a call,,I appreciate him greatly for working through the shooty phone connection cutting in and out with us and him having to ask me two or three times what I said sometimes when he ask me a question,,,
My hats off to him,,give him a raise because you need people like him to be successful 💯%

Technician did an awesome job of fixing my problem.
The last time I tried to get my password reset. It was not possible as they kept giving me a 6 character password, but the system required 8-15 characters. This time it worked out and Lorex's technician did a great job of leading me through everything to get it straightened up. Thank you so much.
