I have been using Line2 for almost 10 years. There was even a blog written by their team on how Line2 was helping us reunite fathers with their children. However, whatever they have done in the 2 years has cost my company. Log in issues, constant issues with connecting, now the text messages are not allowed, etc. etc. Too many things to mention. Now I am going to have to find a new service.

Service is OK. Charging reoccurring numbers more than the advertised 7.99 a month paid annually. That leaves me with a bad taste.

Ass't to a user of this product and I have to say that the customer service team is really bad. They ask the same questions and never resolve the problem. Bad news!

I have been a customer of Line2 for 14 years. Recently they began invoicing me double my legacy pricing contract and this is also 50% more than the current plan pricing. Support is non-existent. It feels like they are on auto-pilot collecting money and not caring if people cancel the service.
A recent update has deleted the long term SMS archives and many Contacts. Exporting this data is no longer possible.
Update 3/22: It has been over 3 business days and no response from Line2 support, but there is a response here. I got an email with my support ticket stating support would respond within 3 business days. No one answers the phone. No one responds by email and the live chat is actually chat bot.

No customer service. Took them over a month to get back to me about an app issue. Then they hung up on me without ever resolving the issue. Waited on hold for over 30 hours (over 1.5 hrs. every business day) and the only response I got was an email (after sending over 20 emails concerning this issue) and they still have not resolved the issue. Not worth the money.

I was stuck for 28 business days not being able to text my clients due to the 10DLC verification process. After being told it would only take 4-14 business days at the beginning of the process, 28 days in, they changed the time needed to complete the process to 2-3 weeks more. I left this service and went to Verizon for a second business line on the same phone.

I have, painfully, been a Line2 customer for years. No more. Each time I manage to get one issue more or less resolved, another issue pops up. I have had almost nothing but problems and regret giving them a chance for so long. Their technical support is essentially non-existent. It's incredibly rare that somebody actually responds on the phone line, and most of the time nobody actually responds to support tickets submitted online. Over the years, I have spent countless hours on hold. When somebody actually responds, they are generally very unhelpful and seem to have no clue about their own platform they are supposedly supporting. My most recent issue is that none of my SMS messages to my clients are working, even though I am led to believe they are via Line2. I don't know how many times I have had to delete and reinstall the app, which only sometimes fixes issues for only a few days. This entire service is trash and I am officially changing providers.

This is a business line. I have calls that go right to vm. At times, I can't dial out. At times I won't get a text message for hours or days. They censor my content, can't use the word "gun" as it's scary. ( I used it for my gun shop) I hit the "i" next to a number and it crashes the app. I called several times and couldn't get through. I did get a response through email when I told them I needed the pin to port the number to another carrier. Ongoing issues of one sort or another since I signed up. It's worth it to me to spend more by going to Ma Bell.
Content added 03/12/2025... I went to AT&T on 03/11/2025, spent about 20 minutes in the store, and they had me switched over. Much less time to drive there, switch over and back than I spent on hold with Line2 last time around, or at any time for that matter.
As we say in my family "The best is the cheapest". Especially true with phone service.
Don't waste your time here.

There is zero phone support for functionality related questions from this company.

Works but is expensive for the service provided and functionality is limited.
Authentication is inconsistent and overly frequent. No way to play messages over speaker in the app. No way to block text messages. No way to bulk delete. No transcription of messages. No way to limit notifications, say, to numbers in your contact list.
I got this to catch spurious phone calls on my oldest number. It does that but it’s a major nuisance to track and delete dozens of spam calls per day with this old tech.
Customer service is useless. For the speaker issue they told me flat out that was an iOS issue. It patently is not.

Nobody answers phone calls. My Email is in limbo because my Line 2 phone number has been my 2nd verification link to open my Email. It’s costing me $$$ and I’ll apparently have to seek legal action...

Poor customer service. The Android application never worked; most of the time, customer calls always went to voice messages (VM). Sometimes, the SMS doesn't appear for hours, and voice messages are not visible for hours. Even after viewing SMS or listening to VM, they appear new after a few days! After 2-Feb-2025, now outbound SMS nightmare. I am trying to register for a campaign but continue to get rejected, and there is no way to find out why.
I spent hours trying to get the Android application to work in the past, but it never did. Finally, I am moving to another provider.

This is my business account, I can no longer email or get texts. I have called customer service over 12 times an no one ever answers. I have called emailed and chatted with you since Last November, no results!
You can not get ahold of a real person!
