AWFUL PROCEDURE + ROBBED + CALLED LIARS £265 by ollie + charlie me and my partner enquired about a property and I was completely upfront about my circumstances regarding some things on my credit profile , i believed i have 2 ccjs totalling to around £2-3 hundred, i was told that when i pay them off and i get a guarantor we should be successful with our application , however on further investigation i had a ccj of around 1.9k, we proceeded to pay this all off to get accepted, so we did it & we were sent new app forms by charlie, once i saw the options of clicking "no" or "2 ccjs or more 2k " my partner called charlie who advised us to click "no" however ollie advised me to click 2ccjs, there was no other option and i had no idea there was a 2k cap to being successful, i just trusted ollie with what box to tick, immediately after i called ollie to say I had done it and he told me it was a non goer and we could not get our deposit back of £265 . we have a 7 month old baby who was 6 weeks premature that we look after and care for, now as you can imagine due to his prematureness he requires alot more attention and regular check ups due to having a harder start to life than other babies. So having available funds for transport and making sure he gets what he needs when he needs it is vital- they knew this... my partner then spoke to charlie who advised us we were called liars by the company but ollie know we had been clear on anything, i cant advise them of something i was not aware about.. giving that their calls are not recorded for training - monitoring or even compliance, we could give evidence to suggest that this limit of 2k was ever mentioned to us, we just trusted ollie with what box to tick , not only is this review about miscommunication regarding ollie and charlie, but the professionalism of being called liars and also ollie emailing me back being petty asking us to gather evidence when we both spoke about recorded calls not being a thing even though they are a fca regulated business , this review will stay until we get a fair result from the regional manager

I initially went to the office far down high street,the woman i met there was gracious enough to even stand up and direct me to the letting office just before the rail crossing where i met a lady called Daisy, she received me with warmth and patiently took all my details,even followed it with call and mail to confirm somethings. Thanks for the warmth reception,i sincerely appreciate you

Charlie has been very friendly and helpful with everything related to our rental. He talked and walked us through all the online paperwork which was very helpful. He has been thoroughly professional at all times.

Due to COVID, only virtual viewings were available when we took possession of the property. The bathroom and kitchen were in a disgusting state, and the courtyard looked like a building site. It took two months and countless emails to get reimbursed for the cost of a professional cleaner. We were passed from pillar to post every time we experienced and reported an issue. There are gaps in the windowsills causing a freezing draft in the winter. You can literally feel the wind in one of the bedrooms due to holes in the roof and no insulation. I feel Leaders misled us about the property and used COVID and the virtual viewing as excuses. Luckily, we managed to agree to a six-month break clause with the landlord, but even this was contested when we gave notice three months instead of two months before the six-month break. To top it all off, we had to raise a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme since after two months, Leaders still hadn't returned our deposit. What a relief to be rid of this incompetent, useless property agency! Awful experience with Poole Leaders. Utterly useless, stay away!

My husband and I dealt with Charlie Bowen and we were suitably impressed. Charlie was helpful, gave advice when it was asked for and appreciated our honest views about the properties we viewed.
His manner was professional, he also had a sense of humour and was efficient and easy to talk to. All of these qualities made the whole experience pleasant and stress free.
I would recommend Leaders and Charlie in particular for all of the aforementioned reasons.

Looked at two properties with Charlie, who was enthusiastic and well informed about them. Settled on the second property we viewed and Charlie took us through all the procedures to secure our new rental. Good communication after the initial viewing and we have been kept up to date. Recommended.

Over the Christmas and new year, my rented house had multiple problems, including water leakage. When this was reported, Connor Marshall Bent followed up and ensured that it was fixed.

As the owner of a property that leaders have managed the rental for the last year I would recommend never using these the tenets were lovely however the management at leaders were not never had full rent always deductions some justified but many not there repairs team are shocking worked carried out in bathroom leaked after attending damage to other parts and then trying to shift blame items missing and damaged but because there were not new will not replace carpet left not cleaned and then to be told I would have to pay for it to be done and apply for refund. Tenants asked to stay longer which a date was agreed and then let them stay longer with no communication about it I had to chase payment for extra days still not paid and still no keys back . Trying to get them to respond to calls and emails is hit and miss in the end both myself and tenants dealt with what we could ourselves very unprofessional and no one seems to know what there doing, and all you hear when you do get to speak to some one is we’re short staffed or of sorry they have left. Absolute joke of a company stay away

Would never recommend anyone to rent through Leaders at all! And if I was a landlord, I would avoid too unless you want an agency that doesn't do what you pay them to do which is to look after your property! Very poor management, high staff turnover, poor communication. Property management department are not fit for purpose! Our home is falling apart, nothing ever gets done when we've reported a problem. We have had to fix some problems ourselves due to this. Can't wait to move out of our house after 10 years of living here!

At first communication with Leaders wasn't very good but then Ronnie took over with us and it became alot better. He is very professional and approachable. He sorted out what was becoming very stressful very quickly and then became stress free. He is very professional and approachable...thank you Ronnie.
