Enquired about a property on Zoopla
I got a response via email from Charlotte with an even better property alongside another option
Charlotte was very understanding and good at listening to my requests
She was able to also make the process quick and easy it didn’t take more than a week for me to have signed my contract and not even another week for me to collect my key for my new place supper grateful and happy with Charlotte without her I would be stuck in a expensive flat down in London but now I’m in the country in a lovely big two bedroom house

It was a great experience working with Leaders, especially Charlotte was the one who was with me throughout my rent process. She was so helpful to me as I am new to this country and most of the system, of how this works was not known. But Charlotte along with other staff of Leaders helped me. I strongly recommend this agency for Rental services.

Our experience with Leaders, Hartshill is worth all the five stars and an extra star for Tiffany Whittingham. She was a delight to work with from start to finish. Even the way she did her viewing was top-notch, from the little details such as letting her clients go first, allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the house and even giving us some time alone to discuss was very much appreciated.

Overall, every interaction i had with Leaders was always delightful and I highly recommend them the next time you are looking for your new home.

The service at the office was great

- We couldn't actually move in on move-in day, because they forgot to send up certain forms that needed signing. Not one tenant or guarantor received them, but we were still blamed for it.
- When we actually got into the property, it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned. There was half-eaten food in the fridge, the entire place was dusty, the oven and counter-tops were visibly dirty, utensils and plates had just been left out by previous tenants, and none of the bins had been emptied. The toilets also had dark water in them, the sink had dirty standing water in it, the couch had wipe marks on it (visibly spread dirt), multiple lights were missing bulbs, and one of the bedrooms had multiple personal items in from previous tenant. The garden had also not been done, it was overgrown to the point where you couldn't even walk through it.
- We were left without heating in the middle of winter (January) for 5 whole days. It didn't take us 5 days to report it, it took them 5 days to even get someone to come out. This is not legal.
- At another point we had a leak in the ceiling. There was water all over the floor and the ceiling was bowing. Instead of trying to get someone out for it, they suggested we just put down spare towels, pots and pans as a permanent solution. We had to call them multiple times, and in the end I had to yell at them to get someone out, because they were plainly refusing to do anything about it.
- We had an issue with a lock in a bathroom. Instead of fixing it, their cheap tradesmen just took out a lock from another room and put it in the bathroom door. So we were left with a broken lock, but in another place.
- The tradesmen they sent out were very obviously not professionals. They clearly did not know what they were doing, and were just trial-and-erroring their way through their work. Jobs that should have taken 10 minutes would take upwards of an hour, and when completed were still never done correctly. I often had to go back in myself later to finish the job.
- It took them more than a month to get the final report from the landlord for the deposit.

Tiffany at Hartsill was fantastic throughout. Prompt at getting back, and explained everything well. The welcome goody box was a nice touch. Very professional and organised service throughout

Leaders at the harts Hill are brilliant sorting out my new home quick and fast big thank you to Emma thomas for helping me going though hole progress as I didn't know what to do or anything and she kept on top of everything for me. the staff are verry friendly highly recommended this place keep up the good work people

I realised managing a rental property could be a bit of a minefield, especially being long-distance, so I chose Leaders to manage mine. Emily from the Hartshill branch has been great, very helpful, informative, knowledgeable and full of ideas and suggestions. It's my fist time using an agent, aside from getting my head round the admin and all the paperwork that comes with it, Emily and Patryk have been great and made time to help me and explain any bits and pieces that have gone over my head. I feel better knowing the place is in their hands and I can leave it be and get more balance back in my life!

Wow! We are so pleased that we chose Leaders to Let out our home. From start to finish, the team were amazing. Communication was outstanding throughout, the photos and even a video were stunning considering our house,. Emily blew us away with the monthly Let valuation which came in more than we had anticipated because we wouldn’t know what to ask for or how to start. The manager Emily managed to secure the Let for us in no time at all !
Special thanks to her because she seems incredible at what she does. It has felt like she has cared about this Let as much as we did.

Emily Brindley the letting manager at Stoke on Trent posted a bogus one star review not even visiting my business after leaving a one star review for genuinely awful service from the Hartshill branch for a property i rented through them.
I am currently looking at my options to
Take things further against Emily for libel.
Would 100 percent avoid leaders.
