Generally poor experience and product

As others have said shipping takes a long time as the items come from China, no mention of this during the sales process.
Whilst the products look as described, you need a degree in engineering to put them together possibly one of the worst instructions I have ever seen.

There are no bulbs just in circuit board LEDs which make the lights very harsh and not dimmable

The product description stated '3 Colour Change By Switch", no switch was supplied so cannot see how you would do this

Three-colour changed by switch version: controlled by the switch in your house, you can adjust the color temperature of the light, there is no memory function, the next time you turn on the light will return to the initial setting. It can't be set to only one light source.

Womp-womp

Womp-womp, shouldda checked before ordering from LampsModern. The website seems legit & their prices aren’t cheap-cheap enough to tip you off that their products are junk, but sadly they really are. To be fair, I got my lamps as promised - LampsModern ships direct from China & it’s a slow boat, but they do say to expect 4+ weeks for delivery. Sadly, though, my moderately-priced knockoffs aren’t even close to the real thing, they probably work well enough but they’re so incredibly ugly. Just so so bad.

This company is an absolute scam and I will be requesting a chargeback from my bank to recoup the money they've taken from me. Do not under any circumstances order from this site. Nearly £300 gone, no products, no updates, nothing. Absolutely disgusting.

Both lights will not power off…


Both lights will not power off completely.

All wiring has been checked I even brought in a electrician to check all three lights stay on when powered off ??

Lights are terrible quality

Lights are terrible quality, when I asked about return they offered a 30%discount and said I needed to pay for shipping but sent no details for shipping or labels, absolute disgrace!! Do not buy.

I have not received my lamp

I have not received my lamp. I think the site is a scam. I am very disappointed. The site never got back to me it has been over a month.

Scam

Edit: company replied below saying they’ve responded to my email. They haven’t. Don’t buy from here.

Order never arrived. They send you “tracking info” that’s completely in Chinese and even when you translate it none of the order numbers or tracking numbers you get work. Company has ignored my multiple emails asking where my order is. Had to do a chargeback on my card. And it looks like they removed my one star review on their site.

Awful & Fraudulent Company

Awful company, awful product. I have been attempting to communicate with this company by email since that seems to be the only method of communication for weeks regarding returning a ceiling light. They have ignored 6 out of the 7 emails I have sent. I they told me I would need to pay out of pocket to return the ceiling light to China, from the USA which is crazy. Or my other option would be to revive a 20% refund, also crazy! They are fraudulent in my opinion and the customer service worthless.

Just don’t order from them

Just don’t order from them. Their website has changed more recently. They’re not safe lights and not as per uk health and safety standards. They take weeks to come from China and you get no info via email about them. You can’t send them back without astronomical shipping fees.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! Several weeks after ordering, I received a lamp that had a very loose post that wouldn’t tighten and a faulty switch which left me afraid to leave it plugged in. I sent an email requesting a return and a refund. They initially communicated trying to get me to fix it myself or accept a 20% discount to keep it. After trying to make them understand that the electrical was faulty and I wanted to return it for a refund, they stopped communicating with me entirely. There is no phone number and no address. I usually vet companies better before I purchase online but it was a really cute lamp. I won’t make the same mistake again.

BEWARE

BEWARE. Lamps modern is a scam. I ordered a month ago, and all emails are ignored. I now have to file a credit card dispute . Do not order from Lamps modern.

UPDATE : 6 weeks after I ordered , my order finally arrived . Not even a knockoff, a completely different product. I ordered an amber glass sconse with a brushed nickel base. They sent me a yellow painted plastic flush mount.

Cheep Plastic from China

We received an item that was very different from the one we ordered.
The pictures on the website had been edited to make the light look better than it actually was.
In reality, the item we received was cheep looking plastic.
Customer service told us that they would refund just 20% and we would have to cover the cost to send back to China.
We adventualy got a 50% refund but were left with a light that we have to now throw in the bin.
Terrible, misleading service.
