The lamps that I bought from…

The lamps that I bought from Lampsmodern are really beautiful and well-made. I adore the way they appear in my room! The shipping did, however, take a little longer than anticipated. It wasn't a big deal, though, because their customer support kept me informed at every stage. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely repurchase from them.

Do not buy!!

Do not buy!!! I am trying to cancel my order I will never be able to assemble a ceiling fan and all their items come unassembled. From China as stamped on the box. No where is there a company logo. One item was a plug in style and does not work. No response from customer service. Another item was sent WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS!!! How do you assemble things?!!! I already sent them a photo and video, pretty straight forward for returns to see it doesn’t work and still waiting.

I purchased two lamps from Lampsmodern…

I purchased two lamps from Lampsmodern last year—the Modern Round Flush Mount Kitchen Flush Ceiling Light and the Nordic Metal Lola Pendant Lamp—and they have completely elevated the style of our rooms. Both pieces add a chic and modern touch that perfectly complements our decor.

One of the items did have a minor issue, but Lampsmodern's customer service team was incredible. They responded quickly, were very helpful, and arranged a replacement without any hassle. Return to CHINA and you pay for it

Bought a kitchen island light from here but was unable to assemble on an apex ceiling. Colour of product was different than advertised as looking for less gold appearance. I want to return this and was told - send it back to CHINA. This is not a smooth returns policy as advertised and no mention that you have to return the product to CHINA anywhere. Now they are offering me 30% refund to keep the light (which i do not want). I would avoid this site and be extra careful with ordering. Does not follow the same refund and returns policy as other normal outlets. Shame as they have a good variety on here but not a great shopping experience

Total scam

Cannot more strongly encourage you to go elsewhere with your money.
The lamp that has been sold to us for £100 has arrived looking cheaper than a £5 piece of tat. It is dreadfully made and bears zero resemblance to what we thought we were purchasing from their website.
Save yourself the bother and do not use this company.
Edit - thank you for your reply lampsmodern. Perhaps instead your customer service team could have replied to my email asking for a returns address and details. The lamp you delivered has been put together incorrectly with decorative pieces stuck on at bad angles and the joins in the metal poorly bonded. I want my money back and am waiting to hear from you - order number LPUK11736.

I bought a kitchen light from…

I bought a kitchen light from Lampsmodern. After about two weeks the light finally arrived in plastic, badly finished with glue and no switch as advertised on their website. Please stay away from this seller as I would have gone through the reviews before I made a purchase. Poor experience

Absolute fraud…..BEWARE.

Absolute fraud…..BEWARE.
Bought from this company as they call themselves lamps modern UK. They are not in the UK. Emails from their customer service come through the night, the product is made and shipped from China.
We have emailed and asked for a refund they are avoiding this trying to resolve the matter by offering 30% discount to keep an item I don’t want as it is so badly made and plastic!
They are saying I have to arrange and pay for postage back to China to return item but even though I ask that I want to return item they don’t provide me with the details to send item back to. Yet according to their website hassle free returns within 30days of delivery.
I wish I had researched this company first, for example if you look at the number of countries they don’t ship to (virtually the whole world) this is a massive red flag.
Now started process with card to claim money back.

Just responding to the company’s response to me saying they adhere to their 30 day returns guarantee. I’ve sent in excess of 10 emails in less than two weeks saying I want to return item and asked for address and to this day I’m still waiting for it, luckily I have emails for proof to support my claim with my bank.
They wonder why customers use such bad words about them, mmmm really!!!

Terrible decision and sadly a real…

Terrible decision and sadly a real scam. No real tracking number, and refused to return the money after I requested cancellation. FB shows a TX address but says it is a company operated in China. That wouldn’t be a problem if they actually make the appropriate products they advertise. Unfortunately, no, they only want to give me $20 on a $200 purchase. Very sad.

Terrible service

They delivered my item to the wrong address. Despite me having a tracking photo and multiple resources proving they sent it to the wrong address they won’t issue me a refund.

It’s been over a week now of back and forth emails saying they are struggling to get in touch with the courier, however, I can get through within half hour every time. Implies they aren’t even trying. My phone calls with the courier have concluded that the package was sent to their office in Hayes yet lampsmodern are in denial.

I don’t have the light and it’s the companies fault, no mention of a resend and refusing a refund.

Do not buy from here, terrible customer service.

Cheap and badly made. Not like the website pictures

I would advise not to buy from this Merchant. All lighting look great on the site, but nothing like when you finally, after a long while, you receive them. One of the boxes was badly taped or damaged, perhaps opened at the Custom. The light itself was awful. Glue from all the sides coming out, badly finished, screws popping out at the back, didn't look safe either. The box was all in Chinese writing , I couldn't understand a thing. Pictures here to show how poor these lights are. Never again.

DON’T BUY FROM THEM

DON’T BUY FROM THEM - Waited ages to receive the lighs when they did turn up they are made really badly, supposed to be circular down lights but aren’t even round, so who knows what the state of the wiring is like. Company is refusing to refund me instead they have offered to send out some more, but really not worth risking dodgy electric lights burning my house down thank you. Or they said the only way I can have a full refund is by sending them back to China and I would have to pay the return postage cost. The lights are faulty so I should have to pay anything and am entitled to a full refund including the postage. So have now started a card dispute to get my money back.

EDIT: Anyone reading this can now see Lampsmoderns reply to my review. Don’t let this fool you into thinking they are a company worth dealing with. I have reached out to their customer service and have emails going back and forth. At the end of the day the lights are faulty so I am entitled to a full refund, I do not have to pay for the cost of returning the items to China they can arrange collection. Lampsmodern can’t just sell faulty items and not expect people to want a full refund. So save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere people.

Do not trust seller!

Do not trust seller! My lamp was received damaged. I reached out to their Customer Service team and they said they would be sending a replacement unit right away. They stopped communicating after that. It has been over a month a no word from the retailer. I had to go through a dispute process with my Credit Card company to get a refund. Stay away from these people!

AVOID purchasing from this company

Terrible company. Products ship from China, after you order - take forever..they cover themselves in small print not obvious to anyone. Look at the reviews - a deceptive and non customer focused company. Products are very low quality. You get what you pay for. AVOID this company..

Shocking, avoid.

Ordered two lamps, had one delivered and asked where the second one was. Was provided with a Royal Mail tracking which I can now see has been delivered in Scotland, I live in the midlands of England.
I have requested a refund or a second lamp sent to me but I have had no response.

In response to your reply, you said 2-3 last week and provided me a tracking number which has been delivered to Scotland, did you not want to reply to this part of my initial review?
