I have been meaning to write this review for Jacobs Steel, Hove for sometime. Actually sold my 1 bed ground floor flat with a garden in central Brighton back in August but I wanted to honour giving credit to these guys, as they went above and beyond from the original valuation right through to completion. I dealt with Harry to actually sell the property, who was always professional, charming and a pleasure to deal with, he was knowledgeable and no nonsense and gave good advice. Also dealt with Damien with the bookings and particulars when I accepted a price - this was all done very quickly and efficiently and despite a first offer from a time waster, I managed to get a second offer very quickly, due to great marketing by them, lots of viewings and basically an all round, great estate agency. The buyer ended up being very complicated and fussy and they really helped with everything, thank you guys! Highly recommend!

We had a property on the market subject to probate, it was so long and protracted ,the team were absolutely fantastic with us ,they helped to push probate ,were with us all the way, every problem we had they helped to sort out for us ,phone calls to enquirer how we were getting on ,letting us know when they heard from our fantastic solicitor James fletcher,they did all this on our behalf because we live in Spain so couldn’t just pop in with questions or problems ,truly wonderful agents would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for a professional competent company to sell property, thank you Richard, Dom and the team for everything.

Joe Hammond and the sales team at the Worthing branch were simply the best. So on the ball, chasing things up and supporting us through a stressful time. Customer service at its best. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them for any future sales.

Leigh took the time to get to know us as investors and found the right property and vendor for us.

Jacob Steele have recently sold my property done a fantastic job they had a difficult job managing my now ex wife expectations on the value of the property. I fully recommend this agent p they were the fourth agent to try to sell my flat they were efficient communicative friendly imaginative (with the photos ).

Just completed a purchase from the Lancing branch of Jacobs Steel. Would definitely recommend. Very responsive, positive amd upbeat throughout a process which can be draining and longwinded (due to also having a property to sell)

My move had quite a lot of ups and downs (as they do!), and Jacobs Steel were brilliant and supportive throughout.
They were professional and easy to contact at any time, as well as being very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to other buyers/sellers.

We went through a long drawn-out sale with chains collapsing, buyers dropping out...everything went wrong at one point or another. I put an offer in on a house and jacob steel never got back to me. I had to chase and got a rude email back from Matt the area manager saying i had won the property but was beratting me about it. Turns out he thought I was another customer and sending me her private details too.

When I addressed his rudeness and breach of GDPR shrugged it off like it happens every day and it's no big problem. I wrote an email of complaint and guess who wrote back and closed the complaint. The area manager Matt.

They have then tried booking to see my other flats I'm selling through another agency without my permission and even called my estate agents to try and get keys.
I was so taken aback by the sheer audacity of jacob steel iv had to reach out to leave this review.

They have no idea what they are doing and have no organisation skills. I wouldn't trust them to sell lemonade on a stand let alone a property.

Very un trustworthy very un professional

worst agent I have ever had to deal with trying to buy a property. Lies upon lies from them throughout, then I got the inevitable. They vendor has sold to someone else, only to find it still for sale. while under offer, they were still trying to sell it, nothing on their website saying under offer, when I questioned them, the response was 'we on put under offer when it has been agreed', shouldn't it say sold at that point?

From the initial enquiry to receiving an acceptable offer I was most impressed with the professionalism, efficiency and friendliness the people at Jacobs Steele Findon Valley showed me. I was kept up to date with all the viewings and feedback from them. Over the years I have dealt with numerous estate agents and Jacobs Steele have to be one of the best. Highly recommended!

I was extremely grateful to all the team, they worked together with sheer determination and pushed my house sale through! Jo, Drew and Rachel were outstanding right up until the end. I can’t recommend them enough!

Amelia was a fantastic agent from start to finish. She dealt with our matters professionally and always gave us the time we needed in terms of viewings and following up enquiries.
