This company is not someone I would deal with again. I could tell from their 1st response to my problem that this would end in me being even more frustrated. Their return policy is a ripoff as well.

I ordered the three light deal. Two I used for the business and one for my personal home. The one I had for my home was defective, and they admitted it was defective, yet would not replace it. For three weeks they had me send them videos and agreed it was not working. Their solution was to replace it charging me 50% of the purchase price. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and Home and Lighting would not even respond. Do not buy their products, if so, be ready to accept nothing for a defective product. Nothing I have stated is untrue, I double dare them to claim otherwise!

They are crooks! They sell a defective product and will not correct the issue by sending a light that actually works. Absolutely do not buy from this company! When you receive a defective light, they asked for multiple videos and stretch it out over weeks. Then they tell you that they will sell you a new light for 50% off rather than correct the issue with the one you purchased. In my mind they have the worst customer service and are nothing but crooks! I again repeat do not buy from this company !

I received the light for my flagpole in the first part of December. I couldn't install after our Christmas lights on the flagpole. The lights were taken down, and we tried the new light, but it was too small for the pole. I sent several emails to the company but received no response. I was told today that I didn't receive an answer to any of my emails. They checked and said they had answered all three. They said it was past the 60 days, so I could not get a refund. I was then told that they would issue a refund, but I would need to pay shipping and a return fee. This is what the company does so that they do not have to do anything.

BUYER BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE TO WORK WITH. THEY SEND OUT THEIR PRODUCT POORLY PACKAGED. I ORDERED 5 OF THEIR PARKING LOT LIGHTS WITH POLES AND THERE WAS DAMAGE DONE TO SEVERAL OF THE ITEMS. I AM RECENTLY GETTING AROUND TO INSTALLING THESE LIGHTS AND EVEN THOUGH I PURCHASED THEM IN NOVEMBER I HAVE ONE THAT HAS A BAD SENSOR AND WHEN YOU TURN IT ON THE UNIT LIGHTS UP FROM THE START AND STAYS ON ALL THE TIME. ITS TRULY A DEFECTIVE RADAR/LIGHT SENSOR.BUT THEY SAID I MIS-HANDLED TO ITEM. I TOLD THEM I JUST NEEDED AN NEW SENSOR BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE PARTS. THESE LIGHTS THEY SELL ARE MADE IN CHINA AND POORLY MADE. THEY RUN THE BUISINESS FROM A HOME IN UTAH. THEY CLAIM TO HAVE EVERYTHING TESTED BEFORE IT LEAVES THE WHAREHOUSE BUT INDEED THEY SENT OUT DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT. WE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TERRIBLE ABOUT COMMUNICATING. THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IS A LIE AND THEY DO NOT WARRANTY THIER PRODUCTS. THEY ARE CONFRONTATIONAL AND ALWAYS BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR THIER BROKEN EQUIPMENT. WORST COMPANY EVERY.PLEASE DO NOT HELP THEM CONTINUE TO DO THIS TO HONEST HARD WORKING FOLKS. I WOULD HAVE POSTED PICTURES BUT THEY OBVIOUSLY DO NOT USE GOOGLE REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN BLASTED.

I do not recommend this company. They do not honor the advertised warranty. Do your homework and stay away from this place.

Ordered a $350 kit with 4 Street lights and 2 small lights. Took forever to receive it and finally got the lights. No mounting poles came with the lights as they are clearly u pictured. Reached out to them and they said it had been to long since my order and I would just have to order the poles now. Complete joke. As if im going to pay them more money when so far the money is completely wasted sitting in a box in my shop with no way to mount them.

First night both lights worked. Second night after clear sky's all day it didn't light up. Also, the sensors require someone to be too close to respond. These aren't going to work for us, please provide RMA... so sorry.

They are charging me $50 to return $100 lights, pay return shipping AND if every bag and box isnt returned, I get nothing... FOR DEFECTIVE LIGHTS!

If you would like to return the lights, they must be returned the same way as received, which means in 100% perfect state well-covered and protected.

It is important to keep in mind that the panels are delicate, and the customers (in this case, you) assumes the responsibility of the return. If the packaging requirements are not met or if the panels are not treated properly during transit and we receive them damaged or broken, we won't be able to process any refund.

Lastly, I would like to mention that the return will be subject to and processed according to our terms and conditions, which state:

"In case you received the products, didn't like them, and want to return them, you'll need to pay for shipping back the products and we must charge warehousing fees and returning fees on the returned goods, after that, a refund will be issued.

The returning fee is $25 USD per item light, and also note that only the items in the original box can be returned and well protected as mentioned above.

Keep in mind that it must be returned with its original packaging, all accessories, well-covered, dried and protected as received. Failing to return it the same way as received, we won't be able to issue any partial refund.

To initiate a return, please confirm your request and we will provide you with the necessary instructions.

This co.is the worst ever. Do not trust them. I bought the 3 + 1 deal for a total of $313.71. Fed-ex dropped them at my door and it had 2 lights in the box. Not 4 like I ordered. I couldn't get anyone on the phone so, I sent e-mails. The bottom line is, they call me a liar saying I received all 4 lights. This company screwed me out of $200.00. BEWARE!! Do not trust them...

The lights do not stay lit all night. I’ve followed the charging instructions and other instructions precisely.
I purchased small lights as a trial since I wanted the large (street light) type. I’ll need to keep shopping.

Brutal company, delivered my lighting purchase but with no mounting hardware. Upon calling them they confirmed mounting hardware and basic mounts should have been supplied but claimed that enough time had passed that there was nothing they could do. i escalated on their csr team, they asked me to take pictures of the products received, i sent these and now 2 months have passed without response. ***buyer beware, do not purchase these ***

I order two of they're newer solar lights. THEY came With No Instructions And One Broke screwing them. I contacted them and they said it was my fault and they can't do anything. It's they're fault for not giving no Instructions and the back part is so thin. Bad customer service and it suxs because I had bought from them in the past . They lost a customer and they didn't care. I will report to the BBB. Save your self time and money. Look somewhere else!

I ordered 5 times from this company and gave my friends some 6000 lumens lamps, so far no complaints the lights work great. Definitely recommend them.

The reason I only gave you one star is because of my last order for a lighted yard house number for my garden was never received and you said to contact DHL but your company sent it out so I feel you should do the investigating on where it is. I have purchased many solar lights from your company and will not be ordering anything else and do not recommend anyone to order from your company.

Worst LED lights. They don’t last and customer service is nonexistent. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Recently purchased street lights only to receive the smallest lights possible which one year ago for same price received much better and much most powerful lights when complained about quality of my purchase and I found a much better deal with a nother supplier they replied that they did not want a cheap purchaser as my self contact them when I was disappointed great customer service😂

I ordered two solar lights from homeandlighting- from facebook. I thought I did my research on the company, read reviews and felt confident in my purchase.

I received my lights delivered to my home. The boxes were taped closed and looked like they had been opened. When I opened the boxes they had been opened before, missing parts, torn inner liners and worst of all both solar panels broken. I took pictures and sent an email to the email on the website. No response. I tried the 1-800 number printed on the box, the number was disconnected. After several emails I finally received a response that said I could return them, but they had to be "100% perfect" to get a refund. I was told I had to pay shipping back and there was a $65 restocking fee. The email referred to some fine print in the purchase that said "If you dont like them..." I wrote back and asked for a replacement or a return label, that I received them broken and used not that I didnt like them. The email I got was obviously AI written and sent out at 1:53 am Utah time. The email had no reply sender and no information for further contact.

Almost a month later, no further response. No return label, no refund, no interaction. I cancelled the purchase through my CC. They have not heard from the company yet either.

Massive regret purchasing these lights. Reviews may not be accurate on their website. Buyer beware!

This company doesn’t stand behind their products. They’ll stone wall you into a butch of testing, recharging, sending them videos, which I did all of and then they’ll state that your warranty now expired. They keep changing models all the time so they can claim you’ll need to buy different model at a very small discount and then they’ll charge you freight and you’ll end up paying more for a light that you didn’t want in the first place. Don’t waste your money.

Absolutely garbage. Missing parts with horrible ‘customer service’ I may not get a part sent, but I’ll become their worst nightmare for advertising. We have also contacted the Utah Attorney General regarding fraud due to false advertising as a complete product.

I recieved these as Christmas gifts and due to weather, Injust put them up. The ad for the 60w solar street light is deceptive, it shows mounting brackets, yet they must be purchased separately. Lights are not at bright as shown in promotional shots. One of the four I ordered doesn't work at all. We'll see how the return goes.

ETA: Yes, I ordered 4 during your Black Friday sale as Christmas gifts from my boys. I have been reading reviews and see many claim that returning them is pointless. It this true? I have the order info if you say you will refund the amount of the order IN FULL for lights and brackets if I return them.
