When your laptop decides to give up on the hottest day of the year, it’s safe to say you’re already in a mood… 😅

Thankfully, Ellie and Hamza completely turned my day around.

I went in expecting a stressful, expensive decision and instead ended up having a genuinely lovely experience. They took the time to talk me through all my options, showed me every colour (because apparently that’s an important life decision now 😂), answered my million questions, and never once made me feel rushed or like they were just trying to sell me the most expensive thing.

They were also just really lovely people. It felt more like getting advice from friends than being served by sales staff. They had loads of patience, a great sense of humour, and nothing was ever too much effort.

I actually travelled over from Surrey, and this was my first Harvey Norman experience. Safe to say they’ve set the bar ridiculously high.

Ellie and Hamza are an absolute credit to your team and made replacing my dead MacBook a surprisingly enjoyable experience.

Thanks again, you two, you made a rubbish day a whole lot better!

Had a great experience at HN Sutton Coldfield. Went in to browse and walked out with a coffee machine and straighteners as they were both offered at very competitive prices. Michelle was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have assist us. In fact, all of the staff we had encountered that day were very polite and informative. Great service and will definitely be returning, :)

Excellent customer service!
I bought a wet mop from Harvey Norman online which arrived swiftly but the motor shaft broke after 2 months. I directly contacted the mop brand for help but they were extremely unhelpful so I popped into Harvey Norman in Sutton Coldfield who agreed straight away to exchange it for a new one or choose another brand. I chose a Shark wet mop as I know their customer service is brilliant should I need them. Thank you again to Robert (Assistant Manager at Sutton Coldfield) and Michelle who were both extremely pleasant and helpful.

I purchased a three seater sofa today and was assisted by Okiyah in this matter. She was extremely friendly, very professional and knowledgeable about the item I was buying. All questions were answered clearly and she dealt with a technical issue in a patient and efficient way albeit a situation totally outside her control. She ensured the matter was sorted, confirming with the finance company that all the information they held was accurate and made a bumpy situation run as smoothly as possible. Many thanks Okiyah. Unreservedly recommend Harvey Norman’s customer service.

We went in to Harvey Norman to have a look around and buy a fan. We left after buying a new chair and sofa!! Dee looked after us, he is a lovely guy, very knowledgeable and professional, no pushy at all. We would definitely recommend a visit even if it’s just to have a look around. The store is a great addition to Sutton Coldfield.

From first phone call to check stock to making a purchase the same morning, Hamza went the extra mile to make the whole experience pleasant and enjoyable. A credit to Harvey Norman.

After quite literally 4 hours spent on the phone and online trying to order a Starlink with Curry's, who were clueless, and whose website repeatedly cancelled 4 orders, due to what we 4hrs later discovered, was because they had zero stock (they insisted they had stock and that we had to go in to the store miles away to collect, as the order problem was ours!!!) thank fully I found Harvey Norman online! They were showing stock in their Gracechurch branch, so I called up, and Ellie answered. What Currys could not achieve in 4 hrs, Ellie sorted out with speed, total efficiency, and a high degree of knowledge, in about 5 minutes. The order was handled by her with absolute professionalism and friendliness - additional items were sourced for us, payment was made, an invoice emailed, and on top of it all, she even liaised with our courier who went to pick the item up for us as we were at distance from the store. If Ellie isn't already a manager, then I would suggest she is fast tracked, as I do not think I have seen this kind of customer service and efficiency for YEARS. Thanks so much Ellie, you saved the day, we had zero internet at our site, and keeping in touch with family was essential. (assistant EBond)

Never been to Harvey Norman before, went in to have a look on the 13th June 2026
My iron had broke a few days earlier so had a look at the ones on display.
I was approached by a very knowledgeable assistant Jolita, who helped me choose a new one. At the checkout I was was served by Gabriela who was equally as helpful.
Made my first experience very welcoming.

Grey was excellent in her service, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful as well as being friendly. She made the decision easy.
Beautiful layout to the shop- easy to find what you are looking for.

Steve was knowledgeable and informative. I purchased a washing machine and he gave me helpful, friendly and, crucially, non-pushy, advice for my final choice. A very nice in-store experience.

Excellent prompt service and good advice on the correct product from Hamza in Sutton Coldfield

Bought a TV from Sutton Coldfield branch. Sales lady was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. £130 cheaper than everywhere else. Delivered free to the timescale promised. Couldn’t ask for more really.

Walked around the Sutton Coldfield store looking at televisions. Maya asked us if we would like her to explain the differences and features of the TV’s. She recommended a Sony oled TV - which we liked. She advised us that it was probably a better buy for us than the more expensive model. Refreshing to have a store staff member take the time to show us the products and not automatically try to sell us the most expensive model. Maya then demonstrated a sound bar that she thought would be a good upgrade to the package - and it was, so we bought that as well. Maya checked the prices of other retailers and she discounted the sound bar to match the price of the cheapest retailer. Price included a 5 year warranty and free delivery. A pleasant, no rush, no pressure retail experience in a lovely bright new store. 10/10 Maya

Outstanding service at this store. Excellent layout, variety, knowledge and helpful staff. Nothing was too much for the staff. They helped me so much. Usman on electrical you were exceptional. He really knew his stuff, he gave Excellent advice a few things I knew and he said exactly the same and more about the product I was thinking. I was very impressed and I'm truly happy with my purchase. I got help off another member of staff too a lady and she wqs brilliant too, she knew there was something I had my eye on and I was unsure and she gave me the confidence in why its a good product and good price and she was right. Again im so pleased with my purchase. I just loved the enthusiasm of the staff here. They were genuinely Happy to help. They didnt force, they gave the right amount of information then said you have time to think about it and come back if you have any more questions. I loved that. Harvey Norman your lucky to have wonderful staff and once again Usman on Electrical: if ever you can read this, I’m so pleased with my TV! It was the better choice for what I wanted. Thank you!
PS- Delievery was Outstanding too from the communication, timing anf drivers/delivery guys. Your great too.
Overall Excellent Experience

I recently bought an air conditioning unit; it was the last one they had, a display model, and I was keen to get it installed before the latest heat wave, as my 91-year-old Dad said he was worried about the extreme heat.

I spoke to Maya about how I could get it delivered the next day.

At a personal inconvenience to her, she made sure I had the unit the same day.

Dad was delighted, and so was I.

I highly recommend Harvey Norman, and will look to them for future purchases.

Great customer service from Darianna. She helped me purchase a new fitness watch. As it was not available in store, she kindly ordered it from another store and it arrived on the day expected. New store is fab. Good selection of home products and really welcome addition to the high street.
