They said items was delivered while it was not. The customer service is atrocious. It took so much effort to even talk to someone on the phone as all the ways they suggest come back to useless faq. Then they said they would open a case number and get back in 5-7 business days. Lol. Never again.

Bulb replacement required
Bulb replacement required, fixture broken by operative during removal. Initially told that the store manager requested that I get a quote to replace the unit that was broken by operative, when I requested something in writing to this effect the tune changed and I was told damage caused by water ingress in unit which has been incorrectly closed but guess what only months before this same bulb was replaced by guess who - Halfords! Now I am facing the cost to replace entire light unit at a cost of £681.
Steer clear unless you want poor work, rescinded offers to make good and hefty bills to make good.

Great sales assistant - (overworked)
The young gentleman, Nigel, bike department was exemplary in his knowledge and caring attitude in helping me find a new bike and heavy duty padlock.
Halfords desperately need to employ another assistant and backup, as it seems that this undervalued employee is working and managing the bike department singlehandedly.
Happy with Nigel but Halfords, no.
I booked my car in for tracking days…
I booked my car in for tracking days before appointment only to be contacted on the day to day they could not do it problem with machine , so they refunded me ,then I had several messages saying can you rebook , so I have them a second chance , it was booked in today Monday 28 th July and once again 1 hour before appointment had a call saying they had to cancel yet another problem with tracking machine , awful service and they asked me to book again ha ha not a chance hopeless set up .

I have just taken my car for an mot and to have my air con fixed, I was charged £851 for 4 hours work and to top it off my air con hasn't been fixed, I contacted customer service and the experience was dreadful after asking to speak to the manager I was put on hold and never got any replies after waiting over 20min I hung up, will never be going back to Halfords 🤬
Extremely disappointing customer experience — I would not recommend Halfords.
The Web Chat team has been entirely unhelpful. All they seem capable of doing is generating case reference numbers. I simply requested an itemised bill, but was told that only a specialised team could provide it. I raised a ticket over a week ago and was assured someone would contact me, as the Web Chat agent couldn’t assist. However, I never received any follow-up.
When I reached out again after a week, I was given the same promise — that the team would get in touch. Yet again, no response. This level of service is unacceptable.

I had Halford windscreen wipers fitted by Halfords 2 months ago. One wasn’t fitted properly, when I went back I was told that they couldn’t look at it unless I showed my receipt which I didn’t have. I said that I didn’t have time to scroll through my bank statements so they just put the broken one back on. I don’t expect things for nothing but it would be nice if they had trusted me!!!

"Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Halfords Mile End"
I have been a regular customer at Halfords in Mile End since it opened, so I was disappointed by my experience during my recent visit. Today, I went in to purchase some items for my car and decided to look at some cleaning products near the exit. I briefly picked up an item but returned it to the shelf just a few seconds later, only to be confronted by a staff member who was extremely rude and aggressive.
His comments about how I was making his job harder were unwarranted and left me shocked. I realized that the item may have been placed just a few millimeters away from its original spot, but the reaction I received was completely disproportionate. When I asked for his name, he was not wearing a name badge and wouldn't provide one.
I spoke with another staff member named Siome about the incident, and while he apologized, it was clear that the first staff member was still very angry. I have attached my purchase receipt to this review so that management can review the CCTV footage.
I sincerely hope that the management at Halfords addresses this issue and provides additional training for their staff in customer service skills. It's important that customers feel respected and valued, and this experience has left me reconsidering my future visits.

I bought a dash cam from Halfords; they also fitted it. This was a mistake. I would possibly buy things from here if I had to, but I will never let them go near my car again.
The most unreliable and unprofessional business I have ever encountered
I had a collection slot to pick up a bike. I showed up on time and was told that the bike had never arrived at the store. A few days afterwards, I haven't received any updates and I decide to give them a call. After a long waiting line, the phone is picked up and I can hear people on the other end chatting and laughing. I keep repeating "hello" and "excuse me, is anyone there". I finally receive a reply in a foreign (non-english) language and they hang up on me. This felt a lot more like a prank instead of customer service. I later called again, waited again and finally there was someone I could speak with. More waiting time and also I was told that I had a new collection time and date that I had not been informed of in anyway whatsoever. All I am asking is for things to work they are supposed to, book a slot, pick up the product I paid for, simple as that. I just moved to London and I had made arrangements for this bike to help me commute to work, I was counting on that and now my daily schedule is being impacted by that. At the end, my issue was resolved having the assistant to transfer messages between me and the store. I don’t understand why it wasn't possible to simply contact the store directly, it would have been a case of less than 1 minute.
UPDATE: I went to the store again for our second allocated collection time slot only to be informed that they were unable to get the bike AGAIN. And they didn't inform me about it AGAIN. This is beyond anything I have ever experienced. They said they will give me a refund. A phone call would have been great.
Abysmal Service
Took my car in for an Air Con re-gas for which I paid £140 up front. The gas lasted 3 days. Staff member extremely rude and told me they don't deal with leaks but for another £70 they could squint in a gel to seal it, which might or might not work. I asked for a refund and was told 'but we put the gas in' and refused a refund. Company website specifically says, "the regas, includes removing the old refrigerant, checking for potential leaks and refilling with the correct refrigerant." In addition,today was my third wasted trip to the branch. 'Chat Expert' AI tool was worse than useless. No contact email. Live chat cut off. I think I'll just go straight to the ombudsman.
Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service. Bought a bike recently which came with a big scratch and dent. Have been trying to get it replaced since the last 2 weeks.Called multiple stores and they just keep forwarding ot to different department. Pathetic!!!!!

Went to halfords garage as sent they by RAC to get my tyre changed.Met by very rude man named james very abrupt rude and got annoyed making facial expressions of being annoyed and diligent.They didn't ask what tyre I want didn't give an option as the people at halford call centre said we have 3 different tyre makes what you require.He said he didn't have them in which is fair but he spoke in a very rude annoying manner.Terrible customer service James your in the wrong job.
