Good job, done with no hassle at affordable price.

Had to call rac out for a for the cluch breaking some sort of cylinder switch now leaking oil in a main road, on Saturday night nearly 2 weeks ago, had to wait till sunday for rac to come out, booked it in then and there for a repair for the following Wednesday, took day of work 10.30 appointment, got text day before to confirm still wanted the job, replied "Confirm and car reg" and no show, all day Wednesday then a email After 6pm moved to Friday, same again text day before, no show, moved to today Wednesday, no show, now friday. Nearly 2 weeks no car, the number to call just says it's a all day appointment cant talk to anyone, automated call, cant cancel the booking or you get a £50 fine for cancelling within 48hours because they say it is a all day appointment to 5.30. Then you get a message after 6. The appointment has updated, not moved, not cancelled, no details, self- employed nearly 2 weeks with out a car and the mot and servicing is due by the 11th of August, I will have to call the rac out just to have it the car towed. The car was parked on the a good Samaritan drive, till oil started leaking everywhere on there blocked pavement then moved to the road, and can be pushed on to a drive when being repaired, but the car is no where near my house, having to rent a car now. Just seems like a scam, get you stuck in a 48 hour hold with booking . So they can get £50 out you. 3 days no shows, 3 days waiting for a call, the Chesterfield s40 rac mechanic must be rubbing his hands together.

Booking was simple and I could get a date quite quickly.
Gareth was punctual, friendly, knowledgable and polite.
He talked through everything with us and made us feel very at ease with everything

These guys are so helpful and get the job done to a high standard. The booking process is simple and your kept updated when they are on their way. Overall experience was outstanding.

Fantastic mechanics who did a great job. Would have been 5 stars but had to wait on all morning until 11.55am before he came.

So convenient having the work completed at home. The mechanic was excellent; friendly, knowledgeable, a fast & tidy worker. It would be helpful to have an approx. ETA for work on day of booking, eg. AM or PM.

Luckily the same car mechanic came to us 3 times so far.He's name is Jack who is very helpful and answered all my questions. If I'm lucky enough, he will come this Friday again.

I had a full van service carried out at my address by RAC mobile mechanic, Matthew Roberts. Matthew was on time, relayed what he was to do, how and why and provided me with a full and comprehensive report following my service. He was friendly, polite and informative. The at home service provides a garage level service without leaving your home and I would highly recommend it to others who have a busy schedule or are unsure about leaving their vehicle with a garage.

paul the mechanic was very approachable and answered all my questions and very friendly and his work was exellent

Andy(5242) was very clear and polite,he talked us through everything.He seemed to have a better knowledge than the breakdown guy who came out previously. Once he checked over the car he explained the fault and showed us in the engine what was to be replaced. Excellent throughout, even ringing to say where he was/on route.
However trying to pay with a credit card seemed to be an issue on the hand held machine and on a link to an email.Getting through also to speak to someone in customer service about this is tricky as the numbers direct you through to breakdowns/join up or it just says go on to the website which is not what we needed. A straight forward query/ payment request line phone number would be much easier.
