Excellent buying experience
Firstly it was an unusual wine - 100% marselan + not so common on our supermarket shelves. . Secondly it was a very good price £9 pb as opposed to £20 for a 50cl carafe in a local restaurant recently. Thirdly the delivery was very rapid and the box was strong and undamaged. Triple whammy.

The most agreeable and easy to use service. We did not find the taste of our first half case agreeable, (NOTE: nothing wrong with the wine just personal preference) 2 days later they picked up the remaining 5 bottles and delivered a magnificent 6 pack. Since then we ordered another wine recommended by our liason person; and equally fantastic. Also they answer the phone promptly without the robot saying if you want this press this number etc. I love this company; unusually agreeable, fair and they got a lifetime customer.

Delivery did not turn up in the…
Delivery did not turn up in the allotted time slot. Waited 3 hours the gave the app my next door neighbours address as well. Apparently , according to Great wines! this causes the parcel to be be sent back to base and re delivered the next day , so waited 5 hours for nothing. No message no apology no info from delivery DPD!
Next day delivery arrived on time- by what looked like a child! Young lad. So bit my lip. Hoping wine is better!

I understand your frustration when the delivery did not arrive within the expected timeframe. However, I would like to clarify that the change of delivery address was made 30 minutes after the allocated delivery window had passed, according to the DPD app. Due to GDPR and security protocols, DPD had to cancel the original delivery and reallocate it, resulting in it being sent out the following day, as per their T&C's on their website.
While I appreciate that waiting for your delivery can be inconvenient, I would like to highlight that a 48-hour delivery timeframe is still well within our estimated 1 to 3-day delivery window. We do ask for a little patience as our drivers navigate London traffic and unpredictable weather conditions, such as snow.
Regarding the delivery itself, we assure you that we take pride in our team, and we always aim to provide professional service. I hope you find the wine to your liking; we are confident you will enjoy it.
