Go Go Grandparents was just ok
Go Go Grandparents was just ok. I was on the phone a lot to them in regards to my ride status. I had my dog with me and a large package, so it was hard
to keep track of the calls. It was not a good day
for me.

I paid $35 membership fee on Friday
I paid $35 membership fee on Friday, Oct. 2. I scheduled a ride for October 7. After finding how much it would cost, I decided not to use GoGo on Oct. 3 due to cost. I had the ride canceled and requested my $35 back since . The company said they could not refund the money. I feel I should get my money back since I only was a member less than 2 days.

We reviewed the account and confirmed that the registration was completed online. We understand there may have been confusion about how the membership and cancellation process worked when the account was set up.
Although membership charges are normally nonrefundable, we have gone ahead and processed a refund for the $35 membership as a courtesy.

Two round trip rides
I had two round trip rides involving four different drivers on 09/29 and 09/30/2026. The courtesy and professional service they provided was excellent. Also the service representatives really listened to my requests and communicated them to the driver. I have used your service in the past and some of the drivers were not as well trained as the drivers I encountered last week.

This company are thieves & scammers!
This company are thieves & scammers!! They charge $23 & some change for a membership that over charges you for a ride!!!! A $6 ride was then charged $10. They say that you can get 3 rides for those $23 but also have to pay for the ride. I called for a ride on 9/6/2026 yeah the driver was really nice. But then when I needed a ride back they had me on hold for over an hour &wouldn't answer the phone. Then I had to call an Uber which charged me an extra $25 to get back home!!
THIS COMPANY ARE THIEVES & SCAMMERS!! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY & YOU GET NOTHING IN RETURN!!! CALL UBER THEY ARE MORE RELIABLE!!!

We’re sorry for the frustration and confusion surrounding the membership and ride charges.
We reviewed the registration call and confirmed that our representative explained that GoGoGrandparent is a membership-based service and that ride costs are separate from the membership. Because you explained that you were traveling and only expected to need a limited number of rides, our representative offered a lower-cost membership option that provided access to request up to two rides during the coverage period.
The ride itself was then quoted separately, and before the call ended, our representative again clarified that each ride would be a separate charge.
We understand that the way the plan was described may still have caused confusion. Although membership charges are normally nonrefundable, we have gone ahead and processed a refund for the membership as a courtesy.

treating seniors like me with disrespect is bullshit
i had called gogograndparent because i needed a ride and these jokers lack for a better word, had told me that i needed to sighn up for a member ship and i had said that i didn't want to do that, all i wanted was just a cab to get where i was going to, who ever i was talking to had said let me check then they came back with the same bull that they had stated to me when i had first started to talk to them, i had told them to forget it, because i was really getting pissed with them on the phone and also what your company doesn't understand is the fact that i never signed up for something that i was trying tobe coned into getting in the first place, so how could there be something that there never was, you are trying to defend your sales people for scewing up and trying to get money out of me. i hung up and i had found a local cab company that was able to help me with no problem and they were there where i was at in ten minutes, and got me to where i was going and the other cab company that i had called, got a tip and a great review from me as well. your company sucks and needs a lot of work all the way around. i am never ever going to call you people again.

I would give them zero stars if I could, but basically these people are scams. They’re doing things that people can do on their own or through their medical insurance with free of charge. They also charge you for nothing and they don’t even pay for rides. They don’t pay for anything basically you’re just paying people to book a ride when you can call a taxi and get a taxi booked or whatever the case may be, but they say they do more than what they offer. Save your money. Do not do it.

GoGoGrandparent is not a free transportation program and does not claim to pay for customers’ rides. We are a service that helps people arrange and manage transportation and other requests by phone, including working with third-party providers such as Uber and Lyft. Membership and ride costs are separate, and our representatives are expected to explain how those charges work before service is set up.
We understand that some people are comfortable arranging transportation themselves through an app, taxi service, family member, or insurance benefit and may not need the additional assistance GoGo provides. Many others use our service specifically because they want help coordinating those services without having to manage everything on their own.
We’re sorry GoGoGrandparent was not the right fit for you, but we do want to clarify that the service and its pricing are explained on our website and during registration.

Don’t use them questionable billing practices
Go go grandparents has got to be one of the worst companies. My mother, who is older, used them once to be taken to and from a dr’s appointment. This service cost her $41 to go, $52 to return to her home and $29.99 a month, this was for a trip to go 14 miles! Very bad experience and they have very questionable billing practices. Be very careful signing up for their service. They told her she needed to sign up in order to start the service. They didn’t explain that the $29.99 fee was a monthly cost and doesn’t include anything. They charge her one fee to go to the office and a higher fee to return to her home. When I called to ask why, they said that it was a busy time so they charge more. When I tried to cancel the monthly subscription they said they couldn’t until my mom called them to say it was alright for me to cancel the service. My mom called gave them permission to talk to me. When I called back to cancel the service I got the biggest run around. First they tried to convince me it was a steal at $29.99 a month but couldn’t give me any explanation for that cost. I asked do you massage her feet during the ride, lower the cost of the ride, help her in and out of the car, why is it is so expensive? They had no answers and they use very deceptive billing practices. It isn’t cheap, they charge you a monthly high cost, add steep per minute services that you don’t ask for, they make it almost impossible to cancel the membership, they are rude, condescending, and talk over you every time you mention cancelling. They are just a middleman for a service you can get with any uber or Lyft. All they did was give it a fancy name so older people would call. They take advantage of them then take the money and run. They also don’t refund you, that is their policy and they won’t explain what their fees are.

I was promised a round trip of 3 miles…
I was promised a round trip of 3 miles to bring 87 yr old home from hospital. Driver FORCED ME OUT where husband wearing a neck brace was waiting in wheelchair. We were stranded there. Hospital staff called GoGo for a ride to our home. It didn’t show up, but they billed us anyway. We couldn’t pay for a 3rd ride, because GoGo caused our credit card to be disabled. I had to use another credit card to pay them before they would take us home. This was the 1st and only time we ever used this company, but they would not, will not refund our “monthly” fee of $35. They bungled up every step of the way and continue to do so. My husband was very weak and could have passed out or fallen at any time during our painfully long wait. All this for a pre approved round trip ride of 3 miles to and from the hospital.
No one I have told about this experience has ever heard of such lack of professionalism. Having caused all these mishaps, and still charging us over $80. But they are “sorry”.

We’re very sorry for the stress and confusion this caused, especially while you were trying to get your husband home safely from the hospital.
We reviewed the original registration call and confirmed that you explained you wanted transportation from home to the hospital and then back home with your husband. Our representative advised that we could assist with that type of transportation.
However, during that registration call, you did not ask us to schedule the ride because the hospital discharge time was still uncertain. You told our representative that you would call back once you knew when your husband would be ready, and no ride was scheduled during that conversation.
When the first ride was later requested, it was placed through the automated system rather than with a live operator. Because of that, the additional details about the return portion of the trip were not communicated to a representative who could include those instructions, and the ride was processed as a standard point-to-point trip.
We also reviewed the later ride where the wrong passenger appears to have been picked up. The appropriate dispute was filed, and our records show that a refund for that ride was processed.
After that, you were able to speak directly with one of our representatives, who stayed on the phone with you while another driver was located and monitored the ride until the driver arrived.
We understand how frustrating and upsetting this entire experience was, and we’re sorry the process did not go more smoothly.
