Textbook Pyramid Scheme

Advertise on linkedin as "Entry Level Management" with a base salary of $40,000. Go into first interview and they talk about sales and explicitly mention "its not a pyramid scheme". Go into final interview and they discuss how its 100% sales and pay is 100% commission for every employee at the branch including the owner. Sounds real familiar. So the lower people have to sell a bad product (life insurance) for 50% commission on premiums while the upper levels earn the people they hire commission. Its literally a pyramid scheme. Also its a month of unpaid training.

The mail they send to your physical mail box (not email) is unending despite the numerous requests for them to stop. Harassment and a big nuisance.

Globe life is the Worst Insurance…

Globe life is the Worst Insurance Company Ever.They will take your Money the Next Month say they have not Received it.They Screwed up My Name on My Policies and Will not Correct It.Also the Amount I’ve put on my Applications they will put their own Amount no matter if you do not have Any Health Problems.I advise Anyone to keep your Receipt of Payments Also Periodically Check over your Policies for Any Changes you did not Make.

I’ve paid for term life insurance since…

I’ve paid for term life insurance since February , 2024 . Now I’ve been blocked from the online pay portal . Suddenly , no record of my email address . No word on a refund of payments . Can’t make contact . They don’t answer . No recourse but file a lawsuit in Federal Court . What’ with these people ? Thrives and liars ? I don’t recommend doing business with Globe Life ! Bad choice .

Nothing But Scammers: BEWARE

I would've given these clowns negative ratings if that were an option.
Nothing but SCAMMERS. Do not attempt to reply to their lying, deceitful "job" ads. They are nothing but transparent attempts to force you into buying their garbage policies with no assurance of a paycheck. I had run-ins with both the Kingsport Tn (Ketron Agency) Globe office AND the Jackson Missouri (Moss Organization) Globe office. Both complete scumbags.

I was contacted by these extremely unprofessional clowns for a so-called job "offer".
From the beginning phases of contact through preliminary onboarding, every single contact point from the numerous, bumbling, reps was completely botched.
Trina Cline gave one of the primary zoom presentations wherein she addressed everyone present as if we were ignorant children, meaning she had a very deriding tone and sarcastic attitude toward the very few of us who actually attended (only 4 total). She was impatient regarding any type of replies and deliberately sketchy about any details. It definitely seemed like she was only interested in passing us off to the next of MANY of the down lines so she could get to her weekend fun instead. She did not share any of the details as to what next steps would be for any of us who might still be interested by the end of this ridiculous excuse of a presentation.

After completing the "presentation" if you can call it that, we were coldly instructed to click the next cue button to move to a final "interview". I received a slacker named Jennifer Joseph. Firstly she was dressed in sweat pants and a baggy Tee and her hair was a mess like she had just woken up. She too was considerably deriding and sloppy with her delivery to the point that she even insulted me whenever I asked a specific question about the strictly commission based pay. Instead of answering the question she stated that she was a mother and nursing a baby while doing her work and followed that by saying "so what's anyone else's excuse?" ???

I had heard enough at that point but to continue adding more to their obvious stupidity & already mismanaged actions, she closed the meeting by saying that "someone would contact me". That was completely incorrect. The next day it was 2 p.m. and no one had reached out whatsoever. I replied to their recruiter's email and conveyed what an unprofessional crew globe had to which I received absolutely no response. Shortly after that though, Trina Cline began emailing me with stalking & accusatory replies and likewise her lackey Donald began texting me as though he was going to set up my training course. When I took him up on it, at this point only to see how he would respond, he, like all the others, simply began to pass the buck and could not answer any of my questions about the testing material nor the exam! He told me to email the main incompetent Trina. At that point I was beyond finished with these unprofessional clowns and their willful disrespect.

In closing do NOT give these blunderers any of your time. They will not only completely waste it but they will disrespect you in the process. They are the epitome of unprofessional goons & not to be trusted in the least.

Pyramid scheme

Pyramid scheme. They want you to pay in for a bunch of stuff to get work. It's super shady. Their presentations are misleading / deceitful. Sign up for more than one person and it's interesting. Don't give them your info and certainly don't 'work' for them. Report to FTC and FBI.

My 98 year old father took out a life…

My 98 year old father took out a life insurance policy on me when I was a child, that has been paid on time for many years. Now as an adult, I have my own insurance and my father needs desperately to surrender this policy and obtain the cash value which is rightfully his. We have worked with Globe Life since the first of March to provide them every single piece of information they requested that we provide, to surrender this policy and obtain the cash, and have provided that information 6 or 7 times in various forms. Now, over 6 weeks later, they are still claiming we have not provided what they need. We spent more than 20 hours on the phone with with them in March, writing certified mail return receipt letters to them (which they received) to provide what they requested to surrender the policy, provided the information via email (which they also confirmed they received) and yet, no payment has been made to my father. For three and a half weeks after we confirmed they received our letter and responded to our email, they still claimed they had no record of receiving our communication to surrender the policy and therefore could do nothing to give us the money. We have spoken to 12 different Globe Life Staff to try to get movement on this, including a supervisor who "assured us she had everything she needed to process our request", and who "promised us we would have the money in 7 to 10 days". Now, a month later, still no response and no payment. But, we did receive yet another communication from them via regular mail that they still don't have what they need to process the surrender request, and asking us to provide yet another piece of information, even though they have informed us on three previous occasions that they had everything they need to pay my father the funds that are rightfully his. There is no way that this company can have this many incompetent people working for it to cause this issue, so the only other possible reason they have not processed our request for my father's money is that this is an intentional delay tactic to deny paying my father his funds. We further believe this is the reason they are not responding as required to pay my father his money, because they have continually tried during this time to browbeat my father into changing his mind and to not surrender the policy, so they can keep charging him money for premiums instead of paying him. It is an extremely horrible way to treat a 98 year old policy owner who is a WWII vet who needed this money weeks ago. At this point since Globe Life is refusing to pay my father his money, I have just filed a formal complaint with the Texas Insurance Commissioner to launch a full-scale investigation into this company and its practices, I am sharing my story here on Trust Pilot as well as on every other site so that hopefully other people who are owed their money do not experience this same egregious service. Tomorrow, I will be contacting the Corporate Office of Globe Life in an attempt to speak directly to the office of the Executive VP and Chief Risk Officer to see what assistance his office is willing to provide to resolve this. I have located an attorney in Texas who I will be engaging to legally force this company to pay the money my father deserves, and I will be posting a video to YouTube to share the experience I have had with this company. Again, I don't want anyone else to be put through the horrible experience my family has had with this company as no one deserves to be treated in this manner and to be denied money that is owed to them. Though I have no wish to damage this company's reputation, I will not stop my efforts until they pay my father his money. It is just a real shame that I have to go to these lengths to do so for a simple matter that should have been handled in a matter of days instead of months.

DO NOT USE GLOBE LIFE

I purchased Globe Life Insurance for my children over thirty years ago. Globe Life is VERY aggressive about selling their policies, but when you try to even get customer service, they are HORRIBLE. Long, long waits on the phone, then if you finally get to someone, they transfer you to another long, long wait, and finally you get cut off. Or the person you speak to has no idea about the cmpany or the policy. I have not had to make a claim, thankfully, but I am concerned about what a nightmare making a claim might be. I SUGGEST BUYING INSURANCE SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO NO USE GLOBE LIFE.

Terrible Life Insurance Company!

Well, where to start? I spent about 3 months trying to "buy" life insurance through Globe Life. Then this Sales Rep called me, goes by "Jakobi" Tried to upsale my life insurance policy. He ended up adding a second policy under my name. This company claims you don't need a medical exam if you purchase guaranteed whole life insurance, which is what I was trying to purchase. Two months after I started the policy, they claimed I needed a medical exam, beyond the medical questions I already answered 3 Times! I refused, and the "Jakobi" said he would get back to me once he spoke to the under writers. Its been 4 weeks, no word, and they called me today to pay an additional premium! I cancelled the extra policy today on the spot. I always keep my promises, as I indicated I would do when I told "Jakob". Thanks for nothing! Stay away from this company! Look for any other Life Insurance company!

What a painful processing experience

Oh my - what a runaround. I applied for my wife and I. One phone call or card a day... Relentless need for information. I was denied, and my wife is still in limbo.
I gave up after dealing with the customer service individual I could barely understand. Whether or not they approve of my wife, who cares? We are all through jumping through hoops for low coverage at a high price and customer service that leaves a lot to be desired.

Do NOT CHOSE GLOBE

My husband only chose this company because of the dollar special they had, boy, i wish i had helped in looking for a better life insurance, he passed away June 2020, he had told me before he passed that he had signed up for insurance so i would be okay, i had no idea what he had done until about one week to his death, i believed i reported his death in July, they sent me the documents i was devastated that my baby was gone so fast, it took me forever to return what they requested, but not as long as they took, i completely forgot about Globe when i received a letter saying that they were still working on the claim, i filed it away , about 3 weeks later i received a letter saying they were still waiting for the hospitals information, once again i filed it, a month goes by it seemed, they wrote explaining that they have all the information, that if they need any more info they will contact me if not, they will hurry and process my claim asap, great i thought, week later they sent a letter explaining they could not pay out because in the original application he put down that he did not have any organ issues, they said had he put yes, we could of paid you, if he would of just called and let them know if his situation had changed, 6 months i waited for them to deliver a letter like this, oh ! i am so sorry he did not inform you all that he did in fact have liver issues, we have only been going to the ER for years because these doctors do not know what the heck they are doing, his legs have been swollen for years, they kept telling us he is probably diabetic here is some cream , i would take him back and fourth for years, he had open sores, they looked like blisters his legs were swollen and grey and these hospitals kept turning him away for years! so when he filed, i am pretty sure he was not aware yet that he had liver failure and really he was taking medicine, we were going to the hospital every other day, then they did complete blood work on him everything came back negative, you have got to be kidding, something is wrong with him, nope according to the hospitals here he was not sick, one day later i had to rush him back to the hospital he had no red cells and was about to expire, he received a blood transfusion and then began the nightmare of trying to save his life, so when Globe told me had he contacted them to let them know of any changes in his condition they could pay , no problem! that was his fault in between draining his liver every other day, taking pills, getting sick not walking, i am trying to find anything to keep him alive and save him, we forgot that we had to contact the life insurance, what was he suppose to do? in between him breaking down and crying or during the time he needed help to clean himself when he went to the restroom, yes! forgive us for not saying oh hey! by the way i am passing away fast! who in their right mind thinks of this stuff? is the company serious here! you would think once you signed up oh and another quick thing, they said make sure you are honest about your answers because prior to getting approved this company verifies, okay! I found a letter were Globe advised my husband that they adjusted the benefit amount to have him qualified, so that tells me he was approved! they verified it everything is okay, my husband probably shut his eyes and said she will be okay thank god, well no babe, i am not apparently during the time you were trying to live you had to give them updates from time to time, funny my husband did not have time we found out in March this year, he passed away in June, they wait for 6 months to give me the answer that no no money will come your way, waiting for their questions to be answered from a hospital that if they had done there job correctly, we may have had a chance to save his life! And I would not have to wake up and look at his ashes every morning. So be sure folks to call in with health updates otherwise you too will have nothing. Thanks alot Globe, i will be sure to report you to the BBB so all consumers can find better insurance. And warn them God forbid call in with a update otherwise they too will be wishing they never ever delt with this pathetic life insurance company

Watch where you spend your money

Watch where you spend your money. This company REFUSES to pay out any funds according to the terms of their polices. I have been trying for 2 months to get them to honor a policy I purchased about 40 years ago. I have been given every excuse you can think of -couldn't find my actual policy for over three weeks. Once they found it, I have been told everything from "it's in legal being reviewed" to "the check is in process". I have even been placed on hold for over 30 (more than one time) minutes and then disconnected. When I called back after these incidents, the recording stated the business was closed and to call back during normal business hours. I would give this company five stars in avoiding payments! But otherwise I wouldn't spend a penny on any of their polices.
