Accountability goes a long way
I've had this insurance on my children for years but fell behind in payment. I was advised I could resolve the accounts for 2 of my 3 children (I'd have to reinstate the third). When I did so, I noticed only a portion of the payment went through. So I called and was advised it was a system issue however no one informed me of this prior to my call. I was also told I'd have to reinstate the daughter I was told that I paid for. I spoke to a supervisor (Shay) who was pleasant but there was no accountability or apology given for the mishap. She said the rep noted only one payment went through however that rep didn't tell me that. I paid around $70 to the rep, however only $40 came out of my account. Shay kept referring back to when I missed the payments last year and said the one that didn't pay wasn't processed by the system but she didn't address what their reps had been telling me. It wasn't my fault that I was told one thing however another happened. I started to just request a refund but she told me there's no guarantee I'd get it. Truth be told, the insurance is reasonable and this is the first time I've spoken to a supervisor that didn't at least apologize for the inconvenience. So I'm keeping the insurance. As I said to her my complaint was for training purposes because as customers (we are not mind readers) we deserve to speak to reps that know what the mean and mean what they say. But when the supervisor doesn't acknowledge the issue, it doesn't sink in.

Beneficiary to relatives policy
Absolutely a horrible experience. They contacted me saying i'm the beneficiary to a relative's life insurance. Instead of sending forms through email or such, I had to download a zoom meeting
and the woman who I told I was not interested in any insurance, that we are fine. She said I was to watch a video, and she was bringing up these charts with percentages that have nothing to do with being a beneficiary. She would not listen as I asked her three times to reschedule our appointment with my relative present, she wouldn't do it. She kept on with the "don't listen, just pursue" over talking me. This is what I've dealt with multiple times with scammers. I cussed her out (as very last resort) and cut the call. After exchanging a few texts asking repeatedly why no reschedule, she wouldn't answer. She had her survivor text me, and I hit him up with screenshot of his one star reviews, why?? No answer. So don't give them the time of day. Apparently profit is their ONLY goal

Real circus act
I'm contemplating kicking this outfit to the curb after this debacle that started already back in August.
I had an injury over the weekend and the rep just happened to be at work the next day after it happened. She suggested I go to the doctor so I could file a claim and possibly get reimbursed.
I wouldn't have gone had it not been for her, and I kick myself for getting into this mess.
I had gotten treatment less than 24 hours after, much less 48, but they scheduled me for an MRI after the window had closed due to the MRI truck not being available 5 days a week.
I went ahead and filed my claim and informed the rep about it, also.
A few weeks later in September, I get my first letter saying they needed more paperwork to review it. I called the hospital and had them send me ALL the paperwork from it to get to them, which I also forwarded to the rep.
I got another letter in October saying they still needed more paperwork, which the rep had sent them. They sent me the exact same thing they'd already sent before, claiming they still did not have all the paperwork they needed to process.
Just about everything I've received from them is barely sealed in the envelope, too.
Finally in November, I get something saying they couldn't help me due to treatment not being rendered within 48 hours.
I replied that that was incorrect as I had beaten the 48 hours in less than 20 and could do nothing more since the MRI was scheduled later in the week, as I had informed the rep of in person.
They sent me a reply saying they'd review it.
December rolled around and I still hadn't heard anything back about it. I decided I'd call and see if I would be able to get some help as I had not yet made any payments to the hospital since I was waiting to see.
I called on NYE, and the rep said there hadn't been anything yet, but they'd leave a note for the claims department that I was awaiting the status that may be available after 48 hours.
I tried earlier this morning, but as of 10AM, there still was no update, however, the rep said she'd call me as soon as there was one.
The rep left a message and said the claims department still needed itemized billing, which they should have received several times over.
I returned the call and sent what I already have once again. I'm not expecting them to help me at all as they seem to beat around the bush, claiming they don't have what they need to process my claim.
They're a real confused, unorganized outfit that is a nightmare to deal with if you want their assistance.
I've gotten nothing but runarounds from them for the last four months and I regret ever going to the doctor for the injury I had.
I like the rep, but the company is filled with bozos and nincompoops who have no idea what's going on and terrible to deal with.
Deeply Disappointed in Globe Life’s Handling of a Claim
Our experience with Globe Life has been deeply disappointing and distressing.
A gentleman who worked for our company was tragically killed in a head-on collision. He was a responsible man who trusted Globe Life, paid every bill faithfully, and believed his family would be protected.
Since his passing, his wife — the rightful beneficiary — has been denied benefits and subjected to treatment that has added unnecessary pain during an already unbearable time. Rather than compassion, clarity, or professionalism, Globe Life has been dismissive, unresponsive, and difficult to work with at every turn. Watching a grieving widow be treated this way has been infuriating and heartbreaking.
This is not how an insurance company should operate — especially when families are at their most vulnerable. When trust is placed in a company year after year, that company has a moral obligation to show humanity and integrity when it matters most. Globe Life has failed to do so in this case.
I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. I implore anyone considering Globe Life to choose another company for their family’s sake.

Awful insurance - stay away!
We purchased this supplemental insurance for my father who passed in June of this year, and this company has been nothing but dishonest and elusive.
We have spent five months chasing documentation for them, only for them to claim they've never gotten it. We finally got the hospital to send it directly to them, and after weeks of processing and consideration, we called this morning to find out they arbitrarily denied the entire claim and can't give us a good reason why

Not even a customer, Was interested in a life insurance at one point but went with someone else. However They continue to call me over and over harassing me that I need a policy with them. I've already told them several times I'm not interested and to stop calling. The people or persons calling using different names and numbers when the ones that are block won't go through. They are childish and laughing saying they'll just keep calling till I get a policy with them it's clearly not a simple case of "oh we weren't aware you where no longer interested". It's beyond harassment I'll be filing a complaint with the FCC and other avenues

I'm not sure why some people don't like Globe life. Life Insurance contracts are heavily federally regulated. If its in the contract, they pay out. I'm guessing people get term life coverage and don't realize it. Get whole life no matter what people!
I had a good experience with them. They have access to some of the best rates in the industry.
Need an option to give a ZERO
If there was an option for a ZERO, it no doubt belongs to this company. They provide an absolute WORTHLESS cash value for insuring your child from a baby till the time he/she reaches 18. I then called in to surrender the policy and take the worthless couple hundred dollars of cash value accumilation only to find out I was charged (without my consent) a day prior. After being transferred 5 or 6 different times I couldn't take any longer and just let them steal another $116 bucks and gave up. STAY FAR AWAY from this horribly run organization.

This company has sent pairs of 2 people every few months for the past 5 years to a business I work for. We tell them we are not interested and to please stop coming to the business as we take care of all our needs internally and always will. As of this writing, there has been 3 sets of 2 people show up. This is just one example of many. These people are dressed horribly. Women have bullied me, cursed at me, harassed me, etc. In the past 2 weeks, women have come in dressed as if they live on the street. One came in wrapped in a blanket of sorts. The partner was dressed like a gypsy. Today, the male was dressed as if he were the ringmaster in a 3 ring circus and his female partner looked like a teenage girl who was too scared to say or do anything. These people out of Overland Park, Kansas and possibly Wichita, Kansas or Wamego, Kansas need to listen. NO means NO. Period. They need to respect people.
False advertising
After reading the reviews on this company I am totally glad I was denied life insurance coverage, they send this crap in the mail, saying all this crap about no medical exam, fake amounts you would be charged, totally all lies, i don't understand how these bottom feeders have been around for years ripping people off, they should be reported to Washington DC or the state of GA insurance commissioner
