I recently completed the Diploma of Counselling through the RPL process and was supported by one of the most responsive and positive team members – Ritchel.
From the very beginning, I felt fully supported. The guidance I received from her throughout the RPL journey was clear, encouraging, and tailored to my experience. Every step was explained in detail, which made the process smooth and stress-free. I was assisted in gathering the right evidence, understanding the requirements, and presenting my skills in a way that truly reflected my professional background.
Achieving the Diploma of Counselling has been a turning point in my career. The qualification has opened doors to new opportunities, enhanced my credibility in the field, and given me the confidence to pursue roles that align with my passion for helping others. It has not only improved my career prospects but also broadened the scope of services I can offer, making me more competitive and effective in my work.
I am genuinely grateful for the support I received during the RPL process and proud of how this qualification has elevated my professional journey.
That said, I do want to highlight one area of deep disappointment despite my energy and great efforts– the referral voucher incentive. I successfully organised two referrals, the process was absolutrely dsimissed and not honoured as expected. One referral was acknowledged, while the other was dismissed due to timing, leaving me denied the incentive.This will go further to the Consumer commission at the end of this year. This experience felt misleading and inconsistent with the otherwise professional support I received.
My recommendation: pursue the RPL process with confidence, as it is rewarding and worthwhile, but be cautious about relying on referral incentives, as they may not be delivered as advertised.

Upon reviewing the internal records and email conversations concerning your two referrals, the status confirms that one referral was successfully enrolled, and one referral did not proceed with payment or commence the course. We regret that the communication around this process led you to believe both were successful, resulting in the denial of the incentive for the second referral. We understand this caused significant disappointment, and we will review our internal incentive communication procedures to prevent this type of confusion in the future.

Certificate IV in Ageing Support

I did have a good experience with Get my course all the staff and ofcourse Beverly Santos my course mentor help me a lot. Any question that I have and follow up document, she will respond on time and even call me to make sure that I get the right support. Very unhappy as they will not return my funds of nearly $3000 from July 2024. They said I had all that was required for a diploma of Mental Health but have failed to find an educational body to verify the certification and now will not give my funds back! I have requested this several times now and can do no more than take some kind of legal action. After this long I am no longer prepared to wait!
I finally received a phone call after several emails and was told it’s not their fault as the institution they organised was halted from giving out certificates and closed down…and that within their policies it specifies that if this happens they will only refund a fraction of the original payment. I have been offered $800 of my $2800 back! This is completely unacceptable! They have offered the ‘solution’ that I yet again wait, for goodness knows when, as they will attempt again to get me a certificate. Im over this completely. This is unfair and they should return my funds now. Thier ‘Legal Team’ will be in touch apparently, to no doubt reiterate their policies. So…. they can take your money, not deliver you a certificate after 18 months of prevarication and then offer you a fraction of your money back….

Please accept my sincere apologies for the excessive wait time (18 months) and for the stress caused by the communication regarding your refund. This situation is unacceptable, and you absolutely deserve better.
We understand that you have been offered the partial refund of $800 against your original payment of $2,800, and that you are dissatisfied with this figure. While we strictly adhere to our terms and conditions—which stipulate that a full refund is no longer available after the cooling-off period, especially following an RTO closure—please know that our primary focus right now is successfully concluding the work we are currently undertaking to get your certificate released.
We want to ensure we support you completely while we finalise this process. To help reassure you and find a satisfactory resolution, we offer the following support options, which can be combined with the ongoing certificate release effort:
Transfer to a New Account Manager: I will immediately assign a different, dedicated senior team member to your file. They will provide clear, weekly updates on the progress of your certificate release until it is in your hands.
Access to Self-Paced Courses: As a goodwill gesture for the significant delay and inconvenience you've faced, we will provide you with immediate, free access to a few of our valuable self-paced courses while you wait for your Diploma outcome.
Credit Options (If Certificate Effort Fails): If for some unforeseen reason our current effort to release your certificate fails, we can either offer the $800 partial refund, or we can convert your full payment into a credit to be used for another course or transferred to another person (with prior approval) within 12 months.
We are actively working to resolve the core issue right now. Could you please reply to this message or send me a private message with your full name and the best email address to reach you? I will personally ensure your new Account Manager contacts you immediately to discuss the steps being taken to release your certificate and confirm the best support options for you in the meantime.

After years in the industry, I finally have formal recognition
I finally have formal recognition and credit for the years of experience i have in Individual Support. Blenda from getmycourse has made the process so easy and has done the hard yards to match my experience with the course requirements.
I now have a cert 3 in Individual support and am starting the process to gain my cert 4 in Disability.
I was enrolled in an online course for Individual Support but while working i didn't have the time to complete it.
Honestly cannot recommend Getmycourse and Blenda highly enough.

Great Result!
Throughout 2025 I applied with “Get My Course” to update and upgrade my credential’s. My course assessor RC was very easy to communicate with, provided the resources, knowledge and worked thoroughly on getting what was necessary for me to complete. I could not speak more highly of RC and her work ethic.

Proceed with caution - just a sales focused business
This company is persistent until they get you signed up and payment made. 2 days after enrolment, well within their stated cooling off period, I made a request to withdraw and full refund. All of a sudden, no one responds to emails or answers calls. I did eventually receive a call, and was asked to send my request email again. No response. It was only after speaking to a friend who has had a similar experience with Getmycourse, provided another contact, that a ticket was opened. To date, now 7 days later, there has been no further response or progress to my request.
