Do not buy from Garstore, they take your money and send you updates saying the tool is delayed when they have no intention of sending. Excuse after excuse how they are waiting for it to be shipped to them and item will be with you in another week or so. 5 months later and still no delivery so DO NOT BUY FROM GARSTORE

Yes, this is a scam company. They not only took over £200 for a lawnmower we never received but they have also stolen my credit card number & tried to use it so I have had to cancel that as well. Someone here said they might go round to sort them out but the London address will be incorrect just like the defunct Worcester telephone number because my card was used at the Odeon cinema in Warrington!!

Like other people we ordered a generator from Garstore.co.uk, a big and embarrassing mistake.

The offer price seemed realistic not just too good to be true. The web site had a reasonable selection of items for sale, albeit everything was on sale. The purchasing process seemed pretty normal and we received an order confirmation email. Delivery was supposed to take six to ten days.

Sadly the generator did not arrive.

Chasing this up it transpired that the phone number on the web site when called is invalid. They do not respond to email or contact form communication. The company is not known at the office address they show on their web site.
The domain garstore.co.uk has only been registered for less than six months which should have been a red flag had we checked at the time of order, duh.

These facts have now been reported to the National Cyber Security Centre (a UK government organization) for investigation as a possible fraudulent web site.
The domain garstore.co.uk is registered with Google who have been informed that this web site is possibly fraudulent.
These actions should lead to the web site being taken down with the hope this will prevent others from falling into the trap of handing over their money with no goods being delivered to them.

Easy to say after the fact but better to buy from someone reputable like Screwfix or Toolstation, where we will now buy a generator to fill the gap left by our Garstore order.

Update:

The garstore.co.uk domain name DNS entry is now removed consequently the web site is no longer available.

Hi ordered a dewalt brushless grinder from garstore in September and said would deliver in 8/12 days no sign of item tried there online form no reply tried again no reply tried email contact demon email reply tried contact number number not recognised total sham of a company next stop watchdog !!!!

I hope for you're sake your reading this before ordering or within time to cancel quickly, If you've ordered already. My partner ordered a £500 BBQ from this company in advance of my birthday, a nice present the family can enjoy for years to come.

We were given a lead time time of around 8 working days and a tracking number. When the delivery date passed I checked out the tracking link which looked suspect (a Chinese firm), considering I would expect the product ordered to come within the UK. Anyway, concerned we chased and were re-assured the product was coming. Having a tracking number also gives you some assurance but this is a trick to keep you hopeful. We chased again and were given another date (communication at this stage was actually pretty good).

Finally a parcel arrived, a tool bag from China worth $2-$3 dollars at best. We contact the company, with images of the tool bag, requested a refund which they say will be issued (within 3-10 business days). Here we are weeks later, no refund, more emails from us requesting a refund, but communication has stopped completely. Sadly, like others we've been scammed.. I hope you find this page in time, unlike us. I asked Trustpilot to re-open this page so I could leave a review... Garstore had obviously had it closed in an attempt to conceal recent "customer" experiences.

I've reported them to the National Cyber Security Centre in the hopes their website is shutdown. Absolute disgrace from the people behind this and I hope karma hits them smack in the face someday.

Scammers paid £219 for a saw and batteries never received and no response to emails and phone number not working. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY HOPING I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THE BANK!!!!!!

Total scam! I am another that did not look at the reviews first!
Lost £350 for a lawn mower that 11 weeks on has not arrived! Lots of messages to “please be patient we have problems with our suppliers, and if not arrived by next week we will issue a full refund!” Total lies!!!

This company is a scam, do not buy from them. I ordered a pressure washer, paid and received a confirmation order number but that was it! No follow up with a delivery date or despatch notice, nothing. No replies to my messages and their telephone number comes up not recognised. I'm thinking of going around with some friends but not even sure the address is real.......

Like a number of other reviewers, stupidly ordered a generator without checking this site first... And... Of course it didn't go well, with it never arriving despite a couple of response emails stating it would. If you've already ordered, hopefully, like me you'll have kept copies of your emails and paid by credit card, which should allow you to claim your money back. Good luck....

I bought a Karcher pressure washer on 26 Sept, received a confirmation email but no delivery/tracking details. Got suspicious & read dozens of messages on Trustpilot saying it’s fraud. Had a webchat, promised a refund never happened. Just got my money back off Lloyd’s today.
How can it be so easy to fleece people. The 30 year old Croatian behind this scam must be making £00000’s. I can’t get the bank, Police fraud, trading standards to pay any attention to this. I feel for all the unwitting victims!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AS IT IS A SCAM !!!. I made the same mistake as most ordering from this company without checking the reviews. I am now out £110 for a DeWalt angle grinder that I will never see. I've received the exact same treatment as all other reviews and doubt I'll get a refund from these fraudsters.

19.10.22 Delivery still not received - emailed them again info at garstore.co.uk
20.10.22 no response to email - Rang them since 9am - it is now 11.45am and line just constantly saying 'busy'
11.45am - I have now logged a complaint with 'Resolver' following the reviews that I have found here today, over this shocking poor Customer Service and no delivery received yet money has been taken from my card.

Shocking! Like many, the web site looked good and a google recommendation to go with it ( maybe google may want to start refunding some of the customers! ). Simply save your money, stay away as like me, you will receive absolutely nothing. Unbelievable that they continue to trade!!

Ordered a Jackery power bank for over £200. No item. No phone number. No response to emails. Looking like I will have to try to get my money back from the bank. Why oh why are they still allowed to trade?

I only gave one star because there isn't an option for no stars. Complete scamming a@@holes. Don't f=go anywhere near. Their prices are just a bit lower than everyone else's to be credible. But they don't actually send anything. KEEP WELL CLEAR

Ordered a generator in July, weeks after its stated delivery date I cancelled the order. To this date I still have had no refund and are no longer responding to my emails.
Avoid at all costs.

ordered a generator for my 80 year old mum at the beginning of september. I am still waiting, have been contacting by email , tried phoning and also used the direct messenger with no luck. This is a disgraceful company with no customer service or morals. AVOID AT ALL COST

Bought a generator from them for 300+ Quid which was agood price all looked good but abosolutely a FRAUD as no Delivery even a month latter,took money out of account (unfortunately) its a debit card so I'm stuffed DO NOT USE these people they are a total Fraud
