Moving with zero headaches
FlatRate is responsive, knowledgeable, and punctual. We’ve moved with them three times in 14 years, twice within NYC, and had zero headaches. The team is always extremely professional and helpful. We are happy to recommend FlatRate to all of our friends.

Canceled on day of move!
Terrible experience moving with FlatRate - booked 6 weeks out and was confident of a simple move experience. Day of the move my street was closed for a funeral and the foreman said they couldn't do anything and left! The agent calls me 30 minutes later and offers me a move on the 2nd of the following month ... or offered a refund.
Had to find another mover on short notice at higher cost - do not use FlatRate!

Overcame my fear of movers
Overcame every fear I had with dealing with a mover. Price was established before the move, no surprises, the movers were very professional and accommodating and the systems kept me aware every step of the way.

We LOVE Flat Rate movers
We LOVE Flat Rate movers - think we have used them like 3 times now. This last time was for moving and long term storage - they did a GREAT job! Everything came back in great condition after a year and a half! They were amazing - always on time, always on budget. Great communication. Highly recommend Flat Rate!
