Our experience with Flat Rate Movers was exceptional from start to finish. From the initial video walkthrough with Lewis to get an accurate estimate, to the dispatchers patiently fielding our calls and easing our worries about parking after a major snowstorm, everything was handled with care and professionalism. On moving day, the crew was efficient, courteous, and incredibly professional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From start to finish - everything was excellent. George gave me a simple to read proposal, a fair price and there were no hidden extras. The crew was very nice to work with and punctual. It was a fantastic moving experience and I will try and use Flatrate again!

FLATRATE MOVING IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I appreicate how they begin with a virtual call to visually see my inventory and assess my needs a pricing from there. Leaving no room for guessing or misunderstanding. Then the team in the office, have a no pressure approach! Of course this is business and they want you to pick them but there was no coercing, nor unrealistic promises. They respected and did all they could for my budget. They maintained excellent communication. ALSO, the movers that arrived were not a third party, but the same company!!! That is super important for consistency. The movers arrived early, which threw me for a second, but they waited, until the given time window and got right to work. The 3 man team was super efficient, kind and competent. I definitely recommend 10 out of 10!

The whole experience went really well, from booking to delivery. Zuleika provided guidance and patience throughout the booking process. The moving team was just as professional and kind. They were on time, assisted with everything and more, with the delivery ended up happening during the snowstorm. They manager beautifully. Thank you!

Everyone was amazing. When I called on a Monday they were able to accommodate my move for that Friday. Everyone was friendly, professional, and Ms. Ming was a sweetheart from the start. Definitely will be booking again in the future.

My move was to a 4th floor walk up apt. I was so surprised with how quickly the movers were able to finish everything. They were well coordinated. They were also nice and respectful and helpful. I felt terribly for them bc it was a lot manual heavy lifting without the assist of an elevator. I hope the company pays movers extra for walk up moves as they seem much more challenging. They were so winded and despite this they managed to see through the task without damaging anything. Thank you so much to my movers today. Your assistance today meant everything to me. I also want to give the consultant a shout out. She was helpful and patient when I had to reschedule my move bc of the weather. This is my second time using Flaterate moving. Both times were positive experiences. My only wish is for them to have bins as additional packing options as they are more environmentally friendly.

Wonderful experience movers were super attentive and easy to work with

I booked FlatRate Moving on January 27, 2025 when I shifted to a new apartment across the city. Honestly, I was worried about large furniture because last time another company scratched my table. Their team came on time, wrapped everything properly and asked me twice if there were fragile items. One thing I liked was they explained the final cost before starting—so no hidden surprises later. The unloading took a bit longer than expected, but overall everything arrived in one piece, which is what I really cared about.

I am genuinely impressed with FlatRate. I had a cross country move and it went seamlessly. I’ve heard so many moving horror stories and FlatRate luckily will not fall into that category. They were incredibly organized with inventory and also very proactive / over communicative on every update with my move which helped a ton/ put me at ease. The price was fair too - I was way over quoted at another company, and then way under quoted at another company up front (but heard that company isn’t reliable and has many hidden fees). FlatRate was super transparent and efficient and honestly just great. I’m glad I can trust them. Thank you!!

I have used Flatrate for five different moves down the years. They are consistently reasonably priced, you know what you're getting, and the movers are always a phenomenal team that work hard, fast, and carefully - exactly the kind of combination I want in a moving service.
