Customer bought a custom set of wheels

Customer bought a custom set of wheels. Wrecks car so I am tasked with securing two replacement wheels. I talked to the cs rep. He pulled up the original invoice. Verifies the information on the wheels and the custom offset needed. We get the wheels and open the box and they are wrong. I called customer service and they confirmed that they nelgected to relay the offset info to the manufacturer. Their mix up. I was sent an email saying I need to sign a promisory note to get the correct wheels shipped. Of course that wasn't included in the email and I had to call to get the note emailed to me. I filled it out and sent it back on 8/20/25. Fast forward to today 8/27/25, I contact then for an update and they haven't even sent the order for the new wheels. I have a customer about to lose his rental and I have no wheels.

Alright so first off rim and wheel…

Alright so first off rim and wheel ready to go came in like 2 weeks. Absolutely phenomenal work. I received my week quick and packaging was good too… inspected the wheels and tires everything perfect no damage whatsoever. Got the lug nuts to go with my wheels are they where recommended… put them on and everything worked perfectely of course with hub spacers too needed to be put on. The car finally has the look it needed at very affordable pricing. It is insane to me I was able to find a wheel style I could afford that actually looks fire

Product fits perfectly, seems to make handling more secure…

Product fits perfectly and the part description offered confidence the part was the one I desired. (No other sites claimed to cover my 2025 CR-V.) Shipping was as advertised.
A little more detailed installation instruction sheet might have been helpful; illustrations and torque figures.

Fast Shipping

The shipping of the parts I ordered was fast, they arrived before est. delivery date. They offered suggestions on lug nuts for my times because the stock ones wouldn't fit, I'm glad I accepted because they were right. The only negative I have is the coil overs I ordered are pretty noisy in the rear, I don't know if operator error or part error, after adjusting and readjusting and driving around I still have some noise. Other than that I had a great experience.

I placed an order with Fitment…

They stated in my last review, they will contact me& was told the matter would be resolved and that I would be contacted, but it has now been over three weeks with no follow-up at all.

After looking into other customer reviews, it appears my experience is not unique. Many others have reported the same pattern — promises to resolve the issue, but no actual action taken. While there may be a handful of positive reviews, the negative experiences far outweigh them, and the common theme is the company’s unwillingness to resolve problems or even meet customers halfway.

Based on my experience and the consistent feedback from others, I cannot recommend this company.

Great experience, would recommend

I had a great experience buying from fitment industries. They’re 100% legit and they even gave me a first timers discount. I put in a request to have them call me so I could get the full details on my order. The wheels are very well packed to avoid damage during transit.I do have to get one wheel rebalanced due to the difference in weight distribution compared to the other 3 so something funky might’ve happened but nonetheless, I’m happy with my purchase.

The worst experience! Avoid these scammers at all cost people. Sent me the wrong wheels an want to charge me 400$ to send them back after their mistake.

This was my first time ordering rims…

This was my first time ordering rims and tires, and I trusted Fitment Industries based on recommendations from friends. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

I spoke with a sales representative, who helped me select rims and tires, assuring me everything would fit perfectly on my vehicle. Despite their promises, the reality was far from it. Once I received my package, I discovered two chipped rims and improperly installed tires. The rims were packaged well, but they arrived damaged something I specifically asked they inspect, which they claimed they did. Their rep, Jason, told me everything was checked and ready to go, yet the damage was obvious.

Problems didn’t end there. The tires were so large that they scraped my fenders and bumper, causing damage and risking a serious accident. I was told I’d just need to install the rims and tires—no adjustments necessary—yet I had to deal with vibrations, and the tires rubbed against the fenders and bumper, causing them to become loose and even start to come off. This was not what I expected for a simple purchase.

Most alarmingly, the tire sensors were installed improperly; they were loose and not connected properly, which led to a flat tire just before a trip. The mechanic also confirmed that the tires weren’t installed correctly—they shredded inside due to improper mounting. Additionally, the wheel weights were placed where the calipers contact the wheels, creating noise and scraping that damaged my brake components.

To make matters worse, Fitment Industries refused to accept returns or offer any solutions, even though I explained that the wheels and tires simply didn’t fit my car. I had to spend over $1,300 out of pocket to replace the damaged tires and get them properly balanced elsewhere. They did reimburse me for the rebalancing, but that hardly compensates for the hassle, damage, and danger I faced.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If you're considering purchasing from Fitment Industries, think twice. They do not stand behind their products or customer service, and I wouldn’t wish this nightmare on anyone.

Fitment Industries NEGATIVE review

First and foremost, Fitment industries will try to censor your reviews if they're not favorable. They've done so here as well as on another reputable site.

My follow-up review will now go from two stars to one star.

I inputted all of my vehicle info, called after receipt of invoice to ensure everything fit. They verified rim lug nut diameter but not the wheel width/height. I had another set of tires picked out but was offered a wheel and tire package. The packages don't consider the Fitment info you provide in the configurator.

Their solution was to charge me $100 return fee or $200+ dollar return fee if I did not want to get a new set of tires.

I went to an alternative online retailer that made everything right and in one business day after my order.

I've ate the cost of the Fitment tires, though opted to keep the rims. Be aware of delivery times! It took at or near two weeks to get me the tires and rims. I'm sure that a return and re-order etc. would've gone well north of a month...which is not very convenient.

I don't intend to do any more business with Fitment Industries moving forward, but I will be leaving additional reviews!

Christopher - We apologize for any inconvenience with your order but would like to clear the air on this matter as there is some clear failure to recognize where fault lies in this situation. Regarding our website, we make recommendations based on our gallery, which is a collection of previous customer builds. We do have a plethora of resources available to confirm fitment prior to placing an order but do allow our customers to make buying decisions based on their own product and fitment knowledge due to the market and community we operate with/in. There is no "bait and switch" and this seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding/assumption about how our website works. As for the matter of the returns, we clearly make our return policy and the specifications of fitment visible on our website's FAQs. Regarding restocking fees, keep in mind that in this situation, we cannot claim fault given that the purchase was made without our assistance and we fulfilled the order as it was placed. These fees are related to the cost of shipping, dismounting, inspection, and restocking fees that may be applied by our vendors. It should also be noted that we very clearly state our delivery times as shipping hundreds of pounds of wheels is not a simple endeavor, especially when it is done free of charge. We apologize for any inconvenience and we've since reached out to discuss further.

Excellent …

I was really impressed with the shipping time on the wheels I ordered. There packaging was impressive , styrofoam, cardboard wedges and more to minimize damage. I would definitely order from them again

Go to other good wheel shops

I had waited for months maybe half a year to wait for wheels I wanted for a while and I finally got them when they were back in stock. I was excited to put them on knowing they would "fit" my car after all the details that "fitment industry" has of my car saying that it would fit. I go to a tire shop and what do you know? They dont fit. Fitment Industry ruined my stock calipers and the wheels. I tried reaching out to them and all they could say was they would give me compensation of buying spacers. They dont want to give me 2 new wheels because I apparently caused the damage but they dont want to fix their website in order to prevent this happening? If they have minimal information about my car and it not fitting you should take fault for not knowing. Please shop elsewhere that has more of a better customer service and will actually make the customer feel right without voiding all their policies to not make it their fault.

We always ask that customers test fit prior to install and allow customers to make buying decisions based on their own fitment knowledge as it is impossible to account for whether or not a customer has a heavily modified vehicle unless we are informed prior to the purchase, which was not the case with this order. It seems as though the shop should be held responsible for the damage to the wheels given that they were installed despite what sounds like clear brake caliper issues. We'll be looking into this a bit more and reaching out to discuss further but again, do feel that there is more at play here. Thank you.

Do not do business with this company…

Do not do business with this company they scammed. My son sold him a set of rims, showing it would fit his truck after him receiving the rims and trying to mount them on the truck. They would not work, but said they could not give a refund because he tried installing the rims. How would he know if they fit or not without installing them?

Buyer Beware

After saving up for some time, I decided to treat myself and purchase new rims. This was a rare splurge, but I was drawn in by the company's promise of a "guarantee to fit."
Once I put them on, I found that the front wheel did not fit correctly. I contacted the company immediately, only to be met with rudeness and no assistance. They claimed that their "guarantee to fit" referred only to the lug nuts. Despite my suggestion of store credit, as I still wanted rims for my vehicle, they refused to help and recommended I resell the rims locally.
I am incredibly disappointed and do not recommend doing business with this company.

If you want to actually resolve the issue my invoice number is-7683329

Yes I had to put them on the vehicle how else would I know if they did or did not fit.
If I tried a shirt on and it did not fit I guess I’m stuck with that shirt. That’s how your policy sounds.

This company is a joke. After they made a comment here asking for info to reach out to me. I have not heard 1 peep from them. They just responded to make it seem they care about what happens. All this company wants is your money. They don’t care if what they state on their site is correct or not. Once they have your money they move on.

You will also notice multiple bad experiences with wheels not fitting on customer vehicles even though their site guarantees fit.

Can’t recommend

After months of delays, with multiple promises of “your order is just about to ship!”, I finally cancelled my order.

I ordered the same exact product from a different vendor yesterday and that item will arrive to me before my refund from this crap company gets to me. Don’t buy from them, there are many other businesses that deserve your $$$. They never have anything in stock anyway they are just a middleman.

Another vendor may have previously bought the item in bulk, thus allowing them to have current stock. PLEASE for your sake READ THIS for an honest review!

Hi! I am currently EXTREMELY satisfied with Fitment Industries. This is my second order. My brother actually originally recommended them, and I had a large purchase with them shortly after for JNC wheels/tires and some good coils. The 1st order was flawless and quick to say the least. These guys are the real deal. And to be honest, they actually care about their customers. I am proud to be able to help support this company a little!!!! The wheels and tires come wrapped tightly up all safe, and quickly too. Now, I own a different car. I recently purchased Motiv wheels/tire set and no coils. I experienced a bit of an issue that I do NOT blame them for. One of the wheels in the set had a hole drilled incorrectly, however, they have amazing customer service. I promptly got a paid return label, and they covered the shipping ($30) ... which they didn't have to. This made me extremely happy today after having a bad day and this guarantees me as a customer for life. The wheels are PREMIUM quality for a low price, and they are balanced perfectly. Got them on Black Friday so, like $30 off a wheel. I also ordered performance tires, again for a low price and boy, do they grip hard!!! Great prices and honest company cannot go wrong with Fitment Industries. Best purchases of my life were my two orders from them and my wife's ring, haha!
